Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 809: When Your Punching Bag Levels Up

  • Next Chapter

As Azrakar’s body disappeared beneath the golden light, Garion stretched his shoulders and examined the injuries covering his arms.

Although his God Physique was extraordinarily durable, fighting a powerful primordial demon without his system’s training feedback had taken quite a toll on his body.

Garion chuckled. "Hehehe... Not bad. That bastard could’ve been a great disciple."

A calm voice suddenly came from behind him. "Your fighting style is rather peculiar."

Garion turned around.

Kaedros stood several meters away, his enormous saber resting against his shoulder.

Garion immediately grinned. "Oh? It’s you, old man. Finally decided to fight?"

Kaedros frowned. "I already told you. I’m not that old."

Garion laughed. "HAHAHA! Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say."

Kaedros slowly lowered his saber. "I’ve been observing your battles. Your martial arts are unconventional, but your physical control is impressive."

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Hehehe! Is that supposed to be a compliment?"

Kaedros nodded seriously. "Yes. However, you still waste too much movement."

Garion cracked his knuckles. "Then come teach me something."

Kaedros smiled faintly. "Gladly."

BOOOOOOM!

Both figures disappeared simultaneously.

Their fists collided in the center of the battlefield, producing a tremendous shockwave.

However, instead of matching Garion’s strength directly, Kaedros immediately rotated his wrist and redirected the incoming force.

Garion’s punch slipped past his shoulder.

Kaedros stepped forward.

[Supreme Martial Art: Flowing Mountain Palm!]

His palm struck Garion’s chest with extraordinary precision.

BANG!

Garion staggered backward.

Before he could recover, Kaedros followed with a sweeping kick aimed at his supporting leg.

Garion immediately jumped backward. "Hehehe! Not bad, old man."

Kaedros calmly adjusted his stance. "Your upper-body strength is excellent. Your balance needs improvement."

Garion frowned. "Are you seriously going to lecture me while fighting?"

Kaedros nodded. "Naturally. A martial artist should always seek improvement."

Garion stared at him before bursting into laughter. "HAHAHA! Damn, I actually like you."

He immediately lowered his stance and charged again.

This time, Garion deliberately shortened his movements, throwing rapid jabs before suddenly attempting a powerful takedown.

However, Kaedros seemed to anticipate his intentions.

He stepped sideways, caught Garion’s shoulder, and used his own momentum to redirect the attack.

THUD!

Garion was thrown across the ground.

He immediately rolled backward and returned to his feet. "Ohhh? That was pretty smooth."

Kaedros maintained his stance. "You’re relying too heavily on explosive movements. Against someone experienced, every unnecessary action becomes an opening."

Garion’s grin widened. "Hehehe! Then how about this?"

[God Physique: Graviton Reinforcement!]

Dark gravitational markings spread across his arms and shoulders.

Garion charged forward, concentrating additional force into his right fist.

Kaedros immediately prepared to redirect the attack.

However, Garion suddenly stopped his punch halfway.

Instead, he shifted his weight and delivered a powerful low kick.

BANG!

Kaedros barely managed to block.

Garion immediately followed with a sharp elbow strike.

Kaedros twisted his body, avoiding the attack by a narrow margin.

Yet Garion had already stepped inside his guard.

[Graviton: Singularity Knuckles!]

BOOOOOOM!

Kaedros crossed his arms, successfully blocking the punch.

However, the concentrated gravitational force drove him backward several meters.

For the first time, his expression changed slightly.

"Interesting. His gravity isn’t being projected outward. He’s reinforcing the impact through physical contact."

Garion chuckled. "Hehehe! Still think my movements are wasteful?"

Kaedros slowly lowered his arms. "Less wasteful than before."

Garion laughed. "HAHAHA! You’re one stubborn bastard."

However, just as the two prepared to continue, another voice suddenly interrupted. "How fascinating."

Both turned toward the approaching figure.

Veyron.

The green-eyed man walked calmly across the damaged battlefield, examining them with considerable interest.

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Another bastard wants to join?"

Veyron smiled faintly. "I’ve been observing your confrontation. Both of you possess extraordinary physical foundations."

Kaedros narrowed his eyes. "And what exactly do you want?"

Veyron raised his hand. "Experience."

Faint green markings appeared across his skin.

[Adaptive Evolution Physique!]

His divine aura gradually intensified.

Garion immediately recognized the peculiar sensation surrounding his body. "Hehehe! You’re that evolution bastard."

Veyron nodded. "Indeed. And I believe fighting both of you will accelerate my development considerably."

Kaedros frowned. "You’re deliberately challenging two opponents simultaneously?"

Veyron smiled. "Why not? My physique improves through combat."

Without warning, he accelerated toward Garion.

His fist struck Garion’s crossed arms.

BANG!

Garion barely moved.

However, Veyron immediately adjusted his stance and threw another punch from a different angle.

This time, his movements resembled Kaedros’s earlier technique.

Garion raised an eyebrow. "Ohhh? You’re copying the old man’s movements?"

Veyron chuckled. "Not copying. Learning."

Kaedros suddenly stepped forward.

[Supreme Martial Art: Eightfold Counter!]

His saber moved in a precise arc, forcing Veyron to retreat.

However, Veyron twisted his body and narrowly avoided the attack.

Green markings spread across his shoulders.

His reaction speed increased.

Kaedros frowned.

"His physique is adapting to my technique already?"

Veyron grinned. "Excellent. Keep attacking."

Garion suddenly appeared beside him. "Hehehe! Since you’re asking so nicely..."

He delivered a powerful right hook.

BAAAAAANG!

Veyron was sent flying across the battlefield.

However, he recovered before reaching the ground, twisting his body and landing on both feet.

Blood trickled from his mouth.

Yet his smile only widened. "Wonderful. Your physical strength is even greater than I expected."

His muscles subtly changed.

The green markings spread across his chest.

[Adaptive Evolution: Impact Resistance!]

Garion glanced toward Kaedros. "Oi, old man. This bastard’s getting stronger every time we hit him."

Kaedros nodded seriously. "Indeed. Allowing him to continue adapting would be dangerous."

Garion grinned. "Hehehe! Then let’s beat him before he becomes a bigger pain in the ass."

Kaedros glanced at him. "Are you suggesting cooperation?"

Garion shrugged. "Only until we finish this annoying bastard."

Kaedros considered for a moment before nodding. "Very well."

Veyron suddenly laughed. "Excellent. Two extraordinary martial artists working together. This is precisely what I wanted."

He lowered his stance.

[Adaptive Evolution: Combat Assimilation!]

His muscles tightened as his physique began integrating the combat experience accumulated throughout the battle.

Garion immediately charged from the front.

Kaedros approached from the opposite side.

BOOOOOOM!

Their combined assault began.

Garion delivered devastating punches, forcing Veyron to defend against overwhelming physical strength.

Meanwhile, Kaedros attacked his exposed openings with precise martial techniques.

Veyron initially struggled.

However, with each exchange, his body became increasingly efficient.

He began predicting Garion’s movements.

He gradually recognized Kaedros’s attack patterns.

Even his physical durability improved.

Garion suddenly noticed the changes. "Damn. This bastard really is evolving."

Kaedros immediately retreated several steps. "His adaptation speed is accelerating. We need to end this quickly."

However, Veyron suddenly smiled. "Unfortunately, I believe I’ve already learned enough."

His green eyes flashed.

[Adaptive Evolution: Perfect Combat Form!]

WOOOOOM!

An extraordinary evolutionary aura erupted from his body.

His physique became leaner, his muscles more compact, and his movements noticeably smoother.

Garion narrowed his eyes. "Hehehe... Now that’s interesting."

Veyron slowly raised both fists. "Thank you for your assistance. Now allow me to demonstrate the results."

He suddenly disappeared.

BAAAAAANG!

His fist struck Garion’s chest before either opponent could react.

Garion staggered backward.

Almost simultaneously, Veyron twisted toward Kaedros and delivered a powerful kick.

BANG!

Kaedros barely blocked, but the impact forced him several meters away.

Veyron stood between them, smiling confidently. "My evolution is complete."

Garion slowly rubbed his chest before grinning. "Hehehe! Complete, huh?"

Kaedros tightened his grip on his saber. "Don’t underestimate him. His combat abilities have changed considerably."

Garion chuckled. "HAHAHA! Good. I was getting worried he’d be too easy."

The three immediately prepared for another confrontation.

Meanwhile, high above the battlefield, the Creator leaned forward with amusement.

[Hehehe! Wonderful. An evolving genius against two martial arts monsters.]

She rested her chin against her palm.

[Now I’m curious which side will break first.]
