Chapter 799: Love Hurts More Than Divine Swords

The three remaining representatives stared at Dion with increasingly grim expressions.

Despite their overwhelming numerical advantage, the ridiculous drunkard had already eliminated six of their companions!

And worst of all, he was still drinking!

Dion raised his wine gourd cheerfully. "Ahahaha! Come now, my friends! Why the long faces? We still have plenty of wine to enjoy!"

The three opponents exchanged helpless glances.

However, before they could resume their attacks, a furious voice suddenly echoed from one of the observation platforms.

"ENOUGH!"

The crimson-armored candidate slammed his fist against the railing, his expression twisted with anger. "Damn it! We’ve already lost too many! Are we seriously going to let another subordinate get slaughtered?!"

The silver-robed woman narrowed her eyes. "Indeed. At this rate, even our final representatives might be defeated."

Meanwhile, the golden-crowned elder stroked his beard, his expression becoming increasingly serious. "We have underestimated this candidate far too many times. Continuing to send our followers against his disciples is meaningless."

The three exchanged glances before simultaneously looking toward the enormous golden system panel.

The crimson-armored man raised his voice. "HEY, SYSTEM! I HAVE A REQUEST!"

[State Your Request.]

He immediately pointed toward the arena. "Instead of letting our final representatives fight, why don’t you allow us candidates to enter personally?!"

The silver-robed woman nodded. "Agreed. We wish to replace our remaining representatives and fight directly."

The golden-crowned elder added solemnly, "Our systems have already nurtured countless powerful followers. Surely, our own strength should also be worthy of evaluation."

For several seconds, the golden panel remained silent.

---

[Special Request Received.]

[Three Candidate Hosts Request Direct Participation.]

[Analyzing Current Trial Conditions...]

[Request Requires Approval From the Opposing Candidate.]

[Candidate Garion, Do You Agree to Allow the Three Opposing Candidates to Replace Their Final Representatives?]

---

Garion blinked before breaking into an enormous grin. "HAHAHA! OF COURSE!"

He immediately waved his hand. "Let those bastards come down themselves! That sounds much more interesting!"

The three opposing candidates visibly relaxed.

However, Garion suddenly rubbed his chin. "Hmm... Still, I think Dion’s getting a little tired. He’s already beaten six gods, after all!"

Dion immediately looked upward, his wine gourd still pressed against his lips. "Eh? Master? I’m perfectly fine!"

He swayed slightly before chuckling. "Ahahaha! I can still drink another hundred rounds!"

Garion laughed. "HAHAHA! Yeah, yeah! Save some wine for later!"

He then turned toward Rachel. "Hehehe! Rachel, why don’t you go up instead?"

Rachel blinked, slightly surprised by the sudden invitation. "Me, darling?"

Garion nodded enthusiastically. "Of course! You’ve been watching everyone else fight this whole time! Why not have a little fun yourself?"

Rachel glanced toward the arena before smiling gently. "Well, if that’s what you want, darling, then I’d be happy to."

Atlas immediately frowned.

[Hold on! You’re seriously sending Rachel against three system candidates?!]

Garion merely shrugged. "Hehehe! Why not? She’s my wife!"

Atlas stared at him helplessly.

[That’s not an explanation, you idiot!]

Rachel chuckled softly. "Don’t worry, Atlas. I’ll be careful."

Meanwhile, another notification appeared.

---

[Candidate Garion Has Approved Direct Participation.]

[The Three Opposing Candidates Shall Replace Their Final Representatives.]

[Current Active Representative Dion Dulcoria Was Eliminated.]

[Special Battle Arrangement Confirmed.]

---

WOOOOOM!

Golden light descended upon Dion, transporting him back to Garion’s observation platform.

The drunkard reappeared with a slightly disappointed expression. "Ahhh... What a shame! I was just starting to enjoy myself!"

He took another sip before turning toward Rachel. "Hehehe! Well then, Lady Rachel, please enjoy the rest of the party!"

Rachel smiled warmly. "Thank you, Dion. You fought wonderfully."

Dion immediately bowed dramatically. "Ahahaha! Such praise from a beautiful goddess! My heart might just melt!"

Garion burst into laughter. "HAHAHA! Alright, you shameless drunkard! Let my wife have her turn!"

At that moment, four brilliant golden lights descended upon the battlefield.

WOOOOOOOM!

The silver-robed woman appeared first, her magnificent robes fluttering as an overwhelming divine bloodline aura spread across the arena.

Beside her stood the crimson-armored man, his enormous muscular body radiating terrifying battlefield killing intent.

Meanwhile, the golden-crowned elder materialized on the opposite side, carrying an ancient golden staff surrounded by countless sacred runes.

All three were system candidates who had survived countless dangers to reach the final competition.

Their personal strength was naturally far beyond that of ordinary gods!

However, the moment the fourth golden light faded, their attention shifted toward the woman standing opposite them.

Rachel Revalis.

Her beautiful pink-gold hair flowed gracefully down her back, while her extraordinary divine physique radiated an indescribably gentle aura.

Her figure possessed seemingly perfect proportions, and her breathtaking appearance made even the surrounding divine radiance appear dull.

For a brief moment, the three candidates were stunned.

The crimson-armored man’s eyes widened.

"What an unbelievably beautiful woman!"

The silver-robed woman unconsciously frowned.

"Such a flawless divine physique..."

Even the golden-crowned elder was momentarily distracted.

However, they quickly suppressed those thoughts.

After all, they weren’t inexperienced fools who would lose their concentration merely because their opponent was beautiful!

The silver-robed woman narrowed her eyes. "Are you the next representative of that candidate?"

Rachel smiled gently. "Yes. My name is Rachel Revalis. It’s a pleasure to meet you."

The crimson-armored man snorted. "Hmph! Don’t think we’ll go easy on you just because you’re beautiful!"

Rachel nodded politely. "Of course. I wouldn’t expect you to."

The golden-crowned elder raised his staff. "Then prepare yourself, young lady. We have no intention of losing this battle."

Rachel merely tilted her head. "Oh? In that case..."

Her pink-gold eyes shimmered faintly.

And with the same gentle smile, she softly spoke. "Kill yourselves."

For a brief moment, nothing happened.

The three candidates simply stared at her.

Then...

SHIIING!

The silver-robed woman suddenly raised her own hand and drove a concentrated blade of divine energy through her chest.

CRAAAAACK!

The crimson-armored man violently struck his own heart with his fist, destroying his divine body’s core.

Meanwhile, the golden-crowned elder raised his ancient staff and unleashed his strongest divine execution technique directly upon himself.

KABOOOOOOOM!

Three devastating impacts erupted almost simultaneously.

The next instant, all three candidates collapsed onto the battlefield.

Their divine auras vanished.

Their bodies lay motionless.

---

[Candidate Eliminated!]

[Candidate Eliminated!]

[Candidate Eliminated!]

---

For several seconds, absolute silence engulfed the entire arena.

Even the golden system panel seemed to hesitate before displaying another notification.

---

[All Three Opposing Candidates Have Been Eliminated.]

[Trial of the Teacher - Group Victory: Candidate Garion!]

---

Yet the most terrifying part wasn’t the announcement.

It was what had happened to those three candidates during their final moments.

Despite being the ones who had raised their own hands and killed themselves, their consciousnesses had remained completely clear!

They had watched their own bodies move against their will, unable to resist even slightly.

"What the hell?!"

"WHY AM I ATTACKING MYSELF?!"

"STOP! STOP MOVING!"

Unfortunately, none of their desperate thoughts had mattered.

One gentle command.

And three powerful system candidates had been eliminated.

Meanwhile, Rachel remained standing in the center of the arena, her expression perfectly composed.

She glanced toward the three fallen figures before smiling apologetically. "Oh dear... Perhaps I should have been a little gentler."

From the observation platform, Atlas stared at the battlefield with his mouth hanging open.

[WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!]

Garion, however, merely grinned proudly. "Hehehe! That’s my wife!"
