Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 786: The God-Producing Factory
Rachel looked toward Garion, her expression becoming thoughtful as she considered the unexpected changes in his abilities.
"Darling, if your powers can only be activated through physical contact now, will the same limitation affect everyone else who ascends?"
She turned toward Atlas, her pink-gold eyes showing genuine curiosity. "Or is this something unique to Garion’s God Physique?"
Atlas rubbed his chin, quickly examining several new system panels.
[Hmm... According to my calculations, there’s roughly an eighty percent chance that other God Physique users will experience similar changes.]
Rachel raised an eyebrow. "Eighty percent?"
Atlas nodded.
[Yeah. Think about it. It’s called a God Physique for a reason. The entire cultivation system revolves around developing the physical body of a god.]
[So it wouldn’t surprise me if most users eventually had to channel their abilities directly through their bodies instead of projecting them freely.]
Garion immediately waved his hand, laughing. "Hahaha! Oh, come on! You two are acting like it’s some terrible disadvantage!"
He proudly patted his chest. "Think about it! Our bodies become ridiculously stronger, and our powers become far more concentrated. How the hell is that a bad thing?"
Rachel smiled slightly. "But darling, wouldn’t losing long-range abilities make certain opponents more troublesome?"
Garion nodded casually. "Sure, we can’t just stand around throwing mana attacks at enemies from a hundred kilometers away anymore."
He cracked his knuckles, his grin widening. "But who cares? We’re basically monsters in close combat now!"
Atlas crossed his tiny arms.
[That’s assuming you can actually reach your opponent without getting blasted into oblivion.]
Garion immediately laughed. "HAHAHA! Atlas, did you forget what happened during the first half of my fight against Kairox?"
He pointed toward the devastated battlefield. "That bastard kept punching, kicking, and smashing me around, but I wasn’t even using my God Physique’s powers to strengthen my body!"
Rachel’s eyes widened slightly. "You weren’t?"
Garion shook his head. "Nope! That was just my natural physical strength and durability after ascension."
He clenched his fist, causing the surrounding space to tremble faintly. "The moment I actually activate my powers through my body, everything becomes even stronger!"
Garion grinned confidently. "So yeah, we might lose some long-range fighting ability, but our short-range combat is practically unbeatable!"
He shrugged. "Of course, I’m not saying we’re completely invincible. But killing someone with a body like ours won’t be easy!"
Rachel nodded thoughtfully, finally understanding his confidence. "I see... So our greatest advantage becomes our physical bodies themselves."
Garion smiled proudly. "Exactly!"
Atlas sighed before nodding reluctantly.
[Alright, alright! I get your point. Still, don’t start thinking nobody can kill you, you arrogant bastard!]
Garion chuckled before suddenly remembering something. "Anyway, Atlas! What about the other facilities and system powers? We haven’t checked those yet!"
Atlas immediately opened another interface.
[Actually, there’s something important you need to understand. This entire God Gym is the system itself now.]
Garion blinked. "Huh?"
Atlas spread his tiny arms.
[Every facility, training hall, spatial gate, and special function inside this dimension represents part of the system’s authority.]
[Training here is far more effective than before. There are also improved status screens, progress assessments, and countless functions that make monitoring everyone’s development much easier.]
Garion slowly nodded, his expression brightening. "Ohhh! I see, I see! So instead of operating the system separately, we’re basically standing inside it!"
Atlas grinned.
[Ghehehe! Exactly!]
Garion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm... We’ve already spent two months on my ascension, so we’ve got around ten months left before the final competition."
He looked toward Rachel and Atlas. "Alright, then. Let’s gather the important members and bring them into this God Gym."
Rachel smiled. "Everyone who intends to participate in the coming battle?"
Garion nodded firmly. "Exactly. We’ll train them as hard as possible and prepare for whatever those candidates throw at us."
He then shrugged. "As for anyone who doesn’t want to fight, let them stay outside and manage our existing gym branches."
Atlas’s grin slowly widened.
[Ghehehe! So we’re finally starting the real preparations, huh?]
Garion laughed heartily. "HAHAHA! Damn right! We’ve only got ten months, Atlas!"
He cracked his knuckles, his eyes shining with excitement. "Time to turn God Gym into a proper god-producing factory!"
---
Ten months passed in the blink of an eye.
And throughout those ten months, the newly upgraded [God Gym] had become a place of absolute madness.
Every single day, countless explosions, thunderous impacts, and agonized screams echoed throughout its endless training halls.
Divine formations operated without pause, while enormous quantities of World Core essence were continuously consumed to sustain the terrifying training environments.
Garion had truly turned God Gym into a god-producing factory!
But most importantly, his efforts had finally paid off.
Every member of the army he had personally selected for the upcoming competition had successfully ascended into the God Realm!
Rachel had awakened the full potential of her [Love God Physique], becoming a true goddess whose divine body possessed an entirely different level of power.
Dahlia, Arden, Mersha, Valtor, Seira, Eliza, Clara, and the other core members had also completed their ascensions.
Each possessed a unique divine physique, shaped by their natural affinities and the countless brutal training sessions they had endured.
Of course, not everyone associated with God Gym had participated.
Those unwilling to enter the coming battlefield remained outside, managing the various gym branches and ensuring their operations continued normally.
Meanwhile, inside the central hall of the true [God Gym], Garion stood before his newly ascended army.
He looked around at the familiar faces before breaking into a wide grin. "Hehehe! Not bad! Not bad at all! Look at you bastards! Ten months ago, most of you weren’t even gods!"
Valtor proudly crossed his muscular arms. "HAHAHA! Damn right! After surviving that hellish training, I feel like I could smash an entire army by myself!"
Seira glanced at him coldly. "Try not to get yourself killed first."
Clara giggled mischievously. "Hehehe! Oh, come on! After all that training, shouldn’t we at least enjoy beating up a few enemies?"
Mersha adjusted her glasses, her eyes sparkling with dangerous excitement. "Hehehe... I wonder what kind of fascinating bodies those other candidates possess."
Atlas immediately shuddered.
[Please don’t start dissecting everyone the moment we arrive.]
Garion laughed heartily before raising one hand. "Alright, alright! Save that enthusiasm for the battlefield!"
He then rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Still, there’s one thing that bastard Creator never explained."
Rachel looked toward him. "The competition rules?"
Garion nodded. "Exactly! Is this going to be some one-on-one tournament, or are we allowed to fight as a group?"
He glanced at his assembled army. "Because if it’s one-on-one, I might have gathered all you crazy bastards for nothing!"
Atlas shrugged helplessly.
[Unfortunately, the Creator hasn’t revealed anything beyond the original announcement.]
[We don’t know the battlefield’s rules, its structure, or whether companions can participate.]
Garion sighed before suddenly grinning. "Hehehe! Well, whatever! We’ve prepared for both possibilities!"
He clenched his fists. "If it’s one-on-one, I’ll beat them myself. If it’s group combat, we’ll beat them together!"
Rachel smiled confidently beside him. "Either way, darling, we’re ready."
Garion nodded. "Exactly!"
At that moment, a brilliant golden light suddenly appeared above the central hall.
DING!
Every system candidate across countless worlds simultaneously received a notification.
[Final Mission Countdown Complete]
[All Remaining Candidates, Prepare Yourselves.]
[The Final Candidate Battlefield Is About to Open.]
Garion slowly raised his head, his eyes shining with excitement. "Hehehe... Finally."
[Final Mission Activation Initiated...]
