Her Husband is My Lover

"Jason..." Valentina called him making him come out of his thoughts. 

"Umm... Yeah..." Jason replied as he nodded his head.

"What happened to you, Jason? You were zoning out a lot?" Amelia asked and Valentina looked at him as she raised her eyebrows at him and he raised his eyebrows at Amelia. 

"You aren't in this world... Are you?" Amelia asked making Valentina grow and Jason scratched the back of his neck nervously. 

"Umm... It's nothing..." Jason answered.

"Are you sure? Because I am noticing you from the time you came here... You were behaving as if you are thinking about something... You are zoning out a lot... I had to call you a few times. Just to see if you are listening to me or not... Is something bothering you?" Amelia asked making Jason take a deep breath.

"Umm... It's nothing. Just thinking about some business stuff. That's it!" Jason answered making Valentina frown.

"If you are sure then it's alright!" Amelia replied making Valentina sigh. 

"What is going on here?" Valentina asked making Amelia and Jason look at her. 

"Nothing... You don't have to bother about it." Jason answered making Valentina raise her eyebrows at him.

"What were you thinking about? Is it really about business?" Valentina asked and Jason blinked his eyes at her. Amelia got to know that she needs to leave so they can talk comfortably. 

"Umm... I will check if the dinner is ready or not... You guys get comfortable with each other." Amelia said and Valentina nodded her head and Amelia walked away from there to the kitchen.

"Yeah... Now tell me?" Valentina asked.

"About what?" Jason asked as he scratched the back of his neck. 

"Mom was telling you were zoning a lot... What are you thinking about?" Valentina asked.

"I already answered it... It's about business..." Jason answered making Valentina raise her eyebrows at him.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jason asked.

"Why do I feel like you are lying?" Valentina asked.

"And why would you feel like I am lying?" Jason asked making Valentina raise her eyebrows at him.

"Acting smart. Huh?" Valentina asked.

"Why would I?" Jason asked as he folds his hands on his chest and kept his one hand under his chin and looked at Valentina. 

"Seriously, Jason?" Valentina asked as she folds her hands on hed chest too.

"What seriously?" Jason asked.

"Ohhh... Smartypants..." Valentina said.

"What?" Jason asked making Valentina chuckle.

"Nothing... Just didn't expect that Jason Aniston can get smart too." Valentina answered.

"And why don't you?" Jason asked making Valentina roll her eyes.

"Because the Jason Aniston I know would never dare to get smart with me... I don't know what happened to him so suddenly that he is so hell adamant about getting on my nerves to make me angry with his smartness right now. " Valentina answered. 

"Well well, maybe the Jason Aniston you know, maybe wants to have a change in his nature..." Jason replied as he shrugged his shoulders.

"And that is why?" Valentina asked and Jason again shrugged.

"Just like that... Maybe he is thinking that a change will do better in his life right now." Jason answered making Valentina stare at him in his eyes and Jason kept staring at her back into her eyes. They both just kept staring into each other lives until Valentina took a deep breath and looked away from him and Jason took looked away from her as she breaks eye contact with him and suddenly, the atmosphere became silent around them. Valentina sighed as she looked at him and at the same time, he again looked at her. 

"How are you doing?" Jason asked and Valentina just kept staring at him but Jason sighed and felt uncomfortable with her gaze suddenly because the way she is looking into his eyes made him feel like she is looking into his soul and trying to find something in his eyes and as if she is trying to tell him something that she couldn't tell him directly... Jason knows that Valentina's gaze can tell many things about what she wanted to tell and don't want to tell at the same time... Her eyes are just so beautiful for him even look at them because he is scared that he might get lost in that dangerous eyes. He doesn't want to accept but he doesn't want to get to know about anything on how she is feeling from her eyes. He is scared that he might learn something from her eyes that might make his heartbreak into pieces. He is sure that his heart will break someday but he just doesn't want it right now because he is not at all ready to accept things right now... But seeing things moving so fast making him feel scared about situations that life gonna throws at them soon. 

"Stop glaring at me like that." Jason said making Valentina nod her head and she looked at the other side and again looked back at him.

"Jason..." Valentina called making him take a deep breath.

"Don't call me like that with sweetness dripping from your tongue... I am already trying to control myself from hugging you... Don't make it worse." Jason replied as he looked somewhere else.

"Jason, I am your best friend... You have every right to hug me." Valentina said making him look at her. Valentina nodded her head in yes looking into her eyes and he stepped closer to her. 

"This hug doesn't mean as best friend to me... But at the same time, doesn't mean at all mean as my love towards you... I don't know what will you think about it... Because it's your wish to name whatever you want!" Jason replied and hugged her tightly making Valentina frown.

"I hope you are doing well." Jason whispered in her ear as he caressed her soft hair and he felt Her clutching onto his shirt tightly. He moved a little still her in his arms and looked at her and saw tears in her eyes.
