Chapter 202 - 202: The Destruction of the Boeyman Family

Tokyo was somewhat restless that night.

"Please... let me go. Let us go. Forget everything that happened in the past, and I swear I'll never trouble you again. Rurikawa... what do you say?" Faced with the choice between life and death, the hatred he once felt over his son's death suddenly seemed insignificant.

"When you exterminated the Rurikawa Family, why didn't you say that? And I still remember very clearly how you hired assassins to target Master," the maid said expressionlessly. Seeing the smile on Rurikawa Tsubaki's face, Mira Tsubakihara's crimson lips curled into a smile.

"I can tell you're in a good mood. Now that it's over, you can finally put that burden behind you. I've already arranged for people to take over the Boeyman Family's assets. They're all yours, Tsubaki."

"Sister Mira, please keep them. I'm not good at managing those kinds of things."

"Is there anything you're not good at?" Mira Tsubakihara rolled her eyes helplessly. "Besides, many of those assets originally belonged to the Rurikawa Family. It's only natural for you to reclaim them."

Mira Tsubakihara hadn't taken part in the operation itself. Rurikawa Tsubaki and the nurses were responsible for eliminating every member of the Boeyman Family, while Mira handled the cleanup and the business takeover afterward.

It wasn't because Mira Tsubakihara insisted on staying out of the fighting.

She simply wanted to give Rurikawa Tsubaki the chance to personally avenge her family.

"But I'm just a maid now. As long as I can be Master's maid, that's enough," the former noble young lady said, shaking her head once again. "Sister Mira, you should take them. We're family anyway, and everything ultimately belongs to Master. There's no real difference, is there?"

"Since you insist..." Mira Tsubakihara let out a quiet sigh. "Very well. I'll take over the Boeyman Family's assets. That way, outsiders will simply think that I absorbed their business. It'll be better for you as well."

Even though Mira felt that, with Rurikawa Tsubaki's current abilities, she was already powerful enough to intimidate even Japan's most prestigious families...

Lady Mira opened the car door.

"Heading back to the hospital?"

"Just a moment."
