Vol. 13 - Ch. 769 - Preparation for Conquer Day #1 - Securing Equipment Supply
New Novel - Read Here
The preparation for the upcoming war had kicked off, each engaging on their respective task.
Merus was dispatched to Heavy User Island to gather the status quo. In his spot, Allen had Meruru run off to other errands since morning, foremost being contacting Blacksmith Habarak and leading members for Earth Labyrinth campaign.
Weapons. They had to ensure their supply for the war. The party members had sacred artifacts from the trials, but that alone wasn't enough for their cause.
"Allen, everything's A-okay. Just as you'd asked, I guided Master Habarak and the others to ore vein. This Earth Necklace is so useful!"
"That's great. There had been too many people to protect. Now we can safely secure the supply for weapons thanks to you, Meruru. Nice work."
"Hehehe."
(Truly, compliments work wonders on her growth.)
Meruru was tasked to bring Habrak and his fellow blacksmiths to the 80th floor of the Earth Labyrinth.
Their sacred orichalcum reserves were far from enough for their current situation, and in addition, Habarak might not be able to keep the supply of armaments alone.
Allen had asked Meruru to guide Habraka and the nine other blacksmiths to the 80th floor's ore vein. It had solved both their problems; the ore reserve, and not having enough helping hands. In contrast to Habarak’s 5 star job, the accompanying members had 4 star jobs. So, while not completely up to mark, they’re essentials.
The 80th floor also had a forge, which would be where they would work on.. The said forge was level above any other forge from Divine Realm and Human Realm, allowing them to blacksmith at an accelerated pace.
It was quite fortunate they'd already defeated Andrey. Had they attempted the same movement before defeating Andrey, perhaps they would've required far more manpower to achieve the same result.
«Earth Necklance»—a drop they'd gotten from subjugation of Andrey—had the ability to transcend space, and allowed the holder to create a passageway from any hidden door A to any hidden door B of Earth Dungeon.
Habarak equipped it in his equipment slot, allowing them to bring it inside. From there, they utilised the «Earth Key» on the 10th Floor's hidden door, and connected it to the hidden floor at 80th floor.
Incidentally, when equipped with Earth Necklace, it creates a violation against RTA regulation, invalidating campaign duration. This was explained to them by Earthen Doll, a familiar of Earth God Gaia.
It was a hitchfree incident, except for the occasion where they'd to spend more time preparing themselves. Since they're running out of orichalcum ores, that would mean they had to mine them inside the dungeon. At the end, it unexpectedly took them quite a while to hunt for equipment that were crucial for forging in earlier floors before they could hit the 10th floor.
(They must have taken some time to collect tools from the shop, leading to delay.)
With his hand restlessly working on Heaven's Blessing, Allen went over how many more times they would've to take a trip to Earth Labyrinth in his head.
After hours of hard work, Rosetta was just moistening her throat—Keel served her chilled fruit water—when the wall portion behind the scroll, hanging at the upper portion of the Martial Hall's wall, suddenly released a flash of radiance.
(Ah, it's just noon. The hero’s party must be done with their training.)
*Fwoosh* Sliding the scroll, Hero Helmios, and the pair of Sword Emperor, Sylvia and Doberg, emerged out.
"Hmm? Oh, hey, Rosetta. I see you're back."
Exhausted from their constant training against angels under God of Armament, the three took their steps toward the resting area. Sophie and Keel served them chilled drinks similarly.
"Thanks."
"Nothing beats a nice drink."
Next to Sylvia, Doberg chugged down the whole chilled fruit water in one breath.
"How did it go? You think you can learn the God of Armament's technique in time?"
"...There's indeed no problem, Allen. I am definitely stepping in the Demon King's Castle."
"The strategy is still under review."
"Well, I wouldn't mind becoming a bait alone."
"No matter what, you're not doing that."
"Hey now, bait isn't going to work. Allen-kun already knows that too."
Doberg had proposed to jump into the Demon King's Castle alone. Allen pressured him to back off from that idea. Helmios followed the suit, and advised him again that bait wouldn't be effective in their situation.
(It's better to prevent any reckless action after all. But I fear he might be disappointed. I doubt his wife Kurasis is in the Demon King's Castle anymore considering how old the tale is.)
Doberg must have realised the leader of this campaign would be centred around Allen. He had begun an intense training session under God of Armament, and defying his old age, his body was exuding an incredible amount of battle intent.
Allen had heard Brave Doberg had lost his wife, Kurasis, of 20 years in battle against the Demon King's army. Doberg himself sustained a grave injury, losing one of his eyes. Though, in the aftermath, his wife couldn't be found anywhere.
He seemed to be assured that Kurasis was somewhere in the Demon King's Castle, the same place Demon King resides. Hence, he had been eager to join the battle against the Demon King.
The objective was to take down Demon King. Allen had yet to make any concrete announcement regarding the strategy, as he had wanted to be prepared for everything possible. Doberg was constantly pushing on him just like now.
"Hmm? Going out for training again?"
"It was enough, Rosetta. I didn't expect we would be just out of trial and jump into training again."
It appeared Doberg was forced to take a rest by the God of Armament. He had been on it non-stop, so much so that his expression looked hideous.
Allen recounted their current situation. Aside from their current members, Dragon King Matildora had departed for Dragon God's village, bringing Haku alongside him, seemingly to deliver something.

"Since we're done with our current task, do you require help in anything else?"
Just as Allen was going through notes in his grimorie, which had everyone's range of activity written, making sure there was no overlap, Meruru suddenly called out to him.
"......There is. You're just done, and there's a few more things I require help with, but for now, I would appreciate it if you can help out in rebuilding Angel's Martial Hall."
"Oh, alright."
Allen's party and others were currently at the Martial Hall of Sword God. There was one more, and much bigger Martial Hall, for angels in the neighbourhood. However the said Martial Hall took a huge hit when Demon King's army came bursting through the ceiling unannounced.
Only a day had passed since then, so the damage was yet to be repaired completely. Hence, Allen guided her to help out there until another Earth Labyrinth round.
"So, how is it going for the meeting?"
Helmios inquired about the status quo of meeting after taking a moment to unwind himself, drinking fruit water.
«I am back here. All the preparation for the war council has been met.»
Merus informed the situation from his shared consciousness with Allen. Taking a note on it, Allen turned to others.
«The War Council is ready to begin. Let's see—Keel, Sophie, and Luck. You are coming to join the meeting. Ignomas, too, should join. What will you do, Helmios? And I believe Admiral Galara joining is a given.»
Not everyone was present in one spot, but they all heard him as he relayed his word through Bird F's skill «Transmission». The bird type summoned beasts always had one of the handy skills pertaining to leadership.
"I am joining up too, Allen. I would be worried sick to wait for the entire situation from Helmios."
"That would be nice, Sylvia."
Sylvia, hailing from Giamut Empire and having been Helmios's follower since the academy, announced her intention to join the meeting.
(Well, this confirms Helmios and Sylvia.)
"Hmm? Oh, I am fine alone. Instead, help out Meruru in the restoration of Martial Hall."
"Copy."
"Copy."
"Copy."
"General Zaurele, I would appreciate it if you can also join the meeting as a member of Allen Army. Meanwhile, it would be better if your subordinates can help out in removing the debris from Martial Hall."
"Understood. Everyone, you know what to do. But you might stumble on remains of unfortunate angels. Be courteous in your actions."
"Yes!"
"Yes!"
"Yes!"
As Allen set the situation, Doberg didn't see himself being mentioned, so he decided to speak out himself.
"I am joining as well."
"Doberg-san. Of course, you're welcome. There are plenty of seats available."
Ignoring Doberg's pressure, Allen nodded to Doberg and resumed his instructions to others.
«Everyone's been training since morning, so take this moment to rest, and have lunch. The training today is going to last till late night.»
"Bring it on!"
«Mhm, this is the spirit, my apostle. Have a meal for now.»
"It's meal time!!"
Immediately, both Dogora and Kurena squirmed toward the respite spot.
«Merus, take my place in making Heaven's Blessing. Leon, you, too, helped him out.»
«Alright.»
Allen had already sorted out the situation with Merus. He nodded without any complaint, and continued after Allen's work.
«An endless harvest huh. I do not have any memory pertaining to such work, and I have a hunch I may not have done the same labour in my previous life.»
Leon murmured out to particularly no one. Perhaps it was due to lacking his memories, but it appeared as once the mighty God of Arbitration he was, who had governed all the gods, some of perception could be ingrained in his soul.
This was the last of Allen's command as he then teleported to the Heavy User Island alongside his comrades and members of his army.
He appeared at the council room that Merus had arranged. A huge round table sits at the centre of the room, with seats—enough to make room for thirty people—surrounding it.
Allen found the general, and vice-general of his army already present inside the council room. They, too, noticed the arrival of their supreme commander, and rose to their feet in greeting. Though, a sudden voice interrupted them.
"Heh, you've arrived. Oh well, the meeting is prepared to kick off."
