Vol. 13 - Chapter 770 - Preparation for Conquer Day #1 - Online Meeting
The first war council against the Demon King's army kicked off in the afternoon of Day 1.
With the seating capacity for 30 people, the general of Allen's army occupied nearly one-third of it.
"Don't stand on ceremony, everyone. Take a seat anywhere to your liking."
The elf general Rukidoral, and the dark elf general Bunsenberg greeted his party members.
"You're here, Sophiarone-sama! It's good to see you're unhurt!!"
"Of course, I am completely fine."
(Hmm? I see. Merus must have already informed them about the raid of the Demon King's army in Divine Realm. Though it seems he kept his explanation short, so they didn't seem to know the extent of the situation completely.)
"You, too, Lucktoad-sama. It seems you have taken another step in your growth!"
"Hehe, am I really?"
General Bunsenberg showed an expression of relief to see their future king of Dark Elves, Luck, all fine.
At their urging, the rest took their seat, leaving the central one empty for Allen.
(The army is adapting quickly, too. They're already here at the summon. Even Raibuck-san had taken his time off from his attendance to the queen. And Zenon-san… anyone would think the war is today by a glance at the battle intent he was oozing out.)
The seats of generals in Allen's army were composed of many species. It was Allen's wish to ensure the supply of goods and assistance from as many places as possible in their war against the Demon King and his army.
He had met a few of them during his academy life, then during his days of adventure. And now, they'd the Elven Queen, Dark Elf's Prince, or the personal escort of Beast Princess on board already.
On human race behalf, Raibuck, once the commander of the late king's Royal Order, was spearheading the human army. Of course, in parallel, he was also making efforts as the member of the «Hyakkaryoran» party which was attended by Allen's little brother, and princess of Ratash Kingdom. Though, since a general's presence was necessary in many situations, he had shifted the area of army activity to academy town in Ratash Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the vice-general Zenon bore a steep expression, perhaps because this was a monumental moment where the topic of discussion was none other than an attack on the Demon King's place.
On merfolk's behalf, since Ignomas had enough experience as the general of Prostea Empire, he had been leading them as their vice-general when he's in Allen's party.

While Helmios, Admiral Galara, Keel, Sophie, Luck and Ignomas take their seats, Allen approaches Commander Larappa. She had been at the corner of the meeting room, her back facing others as she fiddled with some magic tools.
"Thank you for your help in the meeting set-up, Commander Larappa....So, have you learned anything about the magic tools demons used to temper with the Space-Time System?"
"Oh, come on. It hasn't been even that long since I got them. I am still analysing these mana tools. Ah, look, the voice is connected. I can also link up with images now."
The tools Allne mentioned were the same tools that demon named Shinonom had used to intervene in the Space-Time Administrative System. They couldn't stop them from stealing the Space-Time System, but with Allen's intervention, Shinonom also wasn't successful in taking away the tool he had brought with himself.
In hope that they could play a role in the upcoming war, the tools had been handed over to Commander Larappa for analysis. Albeit, since she also had been asked to check out on the machine left behind in Heavy User Island, she had yet to begin her work on the magic tool.
Perhaps misunderstanding Allne's question as if he was insinuating 'surely, it should be possible to do it quickly?', Commander Larappa stated snarkily.
As a matter of fact, she had been constantly on work. First, she had been leading his subordinates to clear up the mess created on Space-Time God and Magic God's territory. Then, she left that place, after instructing the subordinates on what to do, and set-up arrangements for their current meeting..
Larappa fiddled with the touch screen, operating the broadcast mana tool next to communication one, turning it on.
(With the cooperation we require, it wouldn't be enough to hold the meeting between us, except to bring others in too. Hence, the online meeting, eh.)
*Buzz*
"Wow, this is quite a neat plan. With this help, I can also finish up the explanation without requiring much stuff."
"My words. It's truly convenient."
Helmios and Galara expressed their wonder at the plan Allen had proposed—to hold an online meeting.
The council room was furnished with ten obsidian black boards all around its wall—two next to the window, two next to the door, three behind Allen, and three opposite of the window. They're the necessary instruments making up magic tool required for their online meeting.
The idea had originated from Allen, and it was brought to reality by Commander Larappa.
Using the combined effect of image-transferring magic tool, and communication magic tool, the ten boards had already been connected to other nations.
[The List of Participating Nations]
1. Giamut Empire - Emperor Regarfarash V, Prime Minister, and few other officials
2. Bawkis Empire - Emperor Pupun III, Prime Minister, and few other officials
3. Rosenheim - Queen Lenoatir, and ten elders
4. Albahar Beast Kingdom - Beast Prince Zeu, Temi, and few other ministers
5. Karbrena Kingdom* - King Arbert, Prime Minister, and few other officials
6. Giamut Empire's Adventurer Guild Branch - Branch Deputy Macran, and the two sub-deputies
7. Elmea Theocracy's Elmea Association - Cardinal Kurinputon, and the two archbishops
8. Prostea Empire - Queen Rapunnir, Prime Minister, and few other officials
9. Ratash Kingdom - King Inbuel, Prime Minister, and few other officials
10. Ratash Kingdom** - Count Granveil, and his butler Sebas
* - Representative of Gyariyat Continent
** - Only Voice relay, no image.
The black boards lit up, and soon the silhouettes of respective representatives appeared visible. The opulence interior suggested they were sitting inside their meeting room.
To be able to peer at another location from one's private room, or royal court was an astonishing discovery—and the mystified expression of everyone clearly conveyed their inner feelings.
(Well, I did ask the less ears to listen the better... but it doesn't seem so....Then again, telling anyone 'the fate of the world hangs on this very crisis' would do the same wonder. It's good every royalty is out there. This is also an all-out war after all.)
After concluding that the outcome of the upcoming war would redefine the whole world, Allen decided they must not lead the war council only within themselves.
Besides, with a deadline of nine days, they would have required support from Five Continental Alliance, major powers, Adventurer Guild—the biggest guild of the world, and leaders of Elmea Association.
It took a while for him to appear, since he had been busy farming Heaven's Blessing all day and night, nevertheless every single party took care to attend it. Their nervousness adorned their faces as they looked at the situation in the council room.
Just as Allen could see the participant's background, they, too, could capture his background.
Each participant was a bigshot at their place, and the invitation was sent at such short notice, however everyone made it to here. Technically, they'd been only fine with nine participants—the representative and leader of Five Continental Alliance, Prostea Empire who had been forging new ties with the same alliance, as well as two largest organisations of the world. Allen decided to bring in Count Granveil, though in his case, only sound was conveyed.
(It's almost October. I wonder if boar hunting has already begun.)
As Allen glanced at Count Granveil on the other side of the black board, he couldn't help but reminisce about his hometown, Rodan Village, and Kurena Village. If they lost the war, there would be no second boat hunt.
He had been hoping after listening to the current predicament, Count Granveil prepared some measures while he still had time.
"Now that's Allen-kun for you. I, for one, couldn't have managed to bring everyone on the table. I think we shouldn't delay any further."
As Helmios spoke, Allen remembered their situation, and broke out of his reverie.
"Thank you very much for joining us today at such short notice. Given the lack of sufficient time, I will be bringing up our main topic..."
Sitting next to Peromas, Allen then gradually revealed about their upcoming war against the Demon King and his forces.
The audio, as well as image, worked both ways, and first hand was raised by Beast Prince Zeu.
"Speaking of, Allen-dono. Shea isn't around?"
Sitting too close to the magic tool to relay images, the entire obsidian black board, as tall as three metres, displayed Zeu's face in a comically large fashion.
"Shea, too, has been taking action to prepare for the war. She has left with the Ten Heroic Beasts for Primordial Beasts's Forest to further her training under Grahm-sama. Oh, and if one is wondering about Cecil, then she's also under training, hence she's not attending the meeting either."
Allen added the last bit to ease, if there was any, worry of Count Graveil about her wellbeing.
"Now, about the progress and Divine Realm..."
As Allen resumed his explanation, the next voice was raised by Emperor Rigarfarash V of Giamut Empire, his tone reflecting his dissatisfaction.
"Why is it that the trivial nations that neither have influence, nor a part of the Five Continental Alliance have a seat in a meeting as important as this one which would decide the fate of the world?"
"W-We've responded to summons. This is all there's to it. Giamut Empire has no right to speak of it."
King Inbuel of Ratash Kingdom remarked, immediately catching at whom the snarky remarks were redirected to.
"Hmph, it appears the existence of Job Transfer Dungeon in that Academy Town has given you quite the guts to speak up. However, do not forget your status!"
"Please stop, both of you. We need to listen to what Allen-sama has to say first!!"
Queen Renatir's strengthened voice traveled through magic tools to mediate the situation between them.
(Now, this is where I would really love a function to cut off voice output.)
Amidst the other nation's quarrel, Allen thought of having Commander Larappa put up some way to turn the voice on or off during an online meeting.
