Hell Singularity: Awakened as a Nightmare Dragon After the Game Ends
Chapter 5: A Little Piece of the Past
"While Azalea explores the outside, I should check if my personal weapon is working like it’s supposed to..." Nio thinks for a moment about her personal weapon, then uses the palace’s teleport system to enter the vault.
"Since the game was shutting down, I had stored the weapon in the vault to do a whole cool farewell... now that this has become more real than it should be, I need to keep my weapon with me at all times... at least it’s a powerful weapon." Nio starts thinking about her weapon, something she truly adores.
"Metratoron, dear... Lucifugus, darling, I’m here. Come to your owner..." When Nio speaks, something knocks on the vault door and then phases through the wall, becoming intangible.
"Hahaha, looks like it still works. In the end, it’s probably just like the game, meaning I still have my Special Class, Main Class, the 5 level 100 classes, and the 5 level 90 subclasses..."
"If that works, then... checking my status like in the game should also work, even if with limitations... Status..." Ignoring her weapon for a second, Nio speaks hopefully, and on the screen before her, her status appears, even though she lost the modification tab and options like name change.

"Perfect!! Everything’s the same as in the past... great to see I didn’t lose anything. I was so tense earlier thinking I might have lost something, but if the status is like this, then I must also have all my spells." Feeling safe being alone inside the treasure vault where no one has access through teleport, she talks to herself without worrying about being heard.
’If this works like this, then Metratoron/Lucifugus must be working just like in the game... great, they’re the weapon I enjoy using the most and are among the strongest I have.’ Nio looks at the two floating weapons around her and tries to remember what their description said in the game when evaluating them.
Metratoron/Lucifugus
They are two floating cannons, each one meter long with a 50-centimeter barrel. Metratoron is white with gold details, and Lucifugus is black with red details. Each can fire powerful energy beams using the user’s magic as ammunition.
Their movement works through telepathic control, serving both for attack and defense as two powerful, nearly unbreakable shields. Being a [Secret] grade weapon, they represent heaven and hell.
"Great, I’m remembering the description exactly. It’s good to see that they not only inherited the futuristic look they had in the game but probably function the same as in the game."
"...If I’m not mistaken... I still remember exactly what you two do... Metratoron is an angelic cannon that unleashes intense discharges of holy and spatial energy, causing intense damage as well as applying the [Sacred Flames] effect that constantly burns flesh, preventing regeneration. Such flames only vanish if the user cancels them; otherwise, they never go out."
"As for Lucifugus... Lucifugus is a demonic cannon based mainly on releasing poisonous attacks or ones that apply [Corruption], causing constant damage. Each beam from Lucifugus focuses on having high piercing power, causing a random poison effect."
"Both can regenerate from any damage at an extremely fast rate, having infinite durability and never wearing down, though they can overheat from use, reducing their effectiveness. They can usually hide inside the user, concealed within their soul, being an Archer-class weapon." Nio gains a smile that grows with each segment she speaks.
"That’s it!! I remembered the description exactly. I can’t believe I have the chance to see these two little beauties in real life..." Nio hugs Metratoron while caressing Lucifugus, even though they are weapons and not something alive.
"It’s almost ironic, especially the names... I really liked the Devs’ work. Metratoron being a reference to the angel Metatron was really good, although Toron is an inside joke that pisses me off somewhat, since they’re mocking you."
"And Lucifugus was a masterstroke, since it’s a mix of Lucifer and Fungi. You are, without a doubt, my favorite weapons, even though you’re of the Archer class!! I leveled up that class just for you." She hangs onto Metratoron while the weapon floats gently.
"You two also gave me a hellish amount of work to obtain!! I honestly hate the developer who decided to hide Metratoron on floating islands while shoving Lucifugus underground!! Finding both within a one-day window was hell!! I spent months on those annoying puzzles." She complains, even while adoring the weapons.
And despite the complaints, the smile on her face is genuine as she remembers the good gaming days. After all, it was over 30 years playing this game, even though she started playing it at a stage already advanced for others.
"Well, at least I have you with me. Playing the game since childhood was wonderful, and obtaining you was a special milestone in my life. Even though it was laborious, I would go after you two every single time... I feel confident in my defense with you around, not to mention you’re easy to hide according to the equipment’s own lore." She tries to conceal them, and both weapons vanish.
’If both are here... it means all my treasures really came with me... which only strengthens the theory that my natural enemy came along...’ Nio takes a deep breath, losing her excitement for an instant. She would like the past to matter more, but right now, more important things demand immediate attention.
"If... that item is in the vault, it means my natural enemy really came to this world..." Nio looks at the locked vault door, the key that will tell whether the greatest current threat to her is in this world or not.
’I hope that thing isn’t in there. If it’s not, the chances of her having come to this world drop significantly. But if it’s in there... then she definitely came too...’
"...I should check right now... damn... all my excitement from seeing my favorite weapon died now that I have to look at this..." Nio sighs dejectedly as she walks to the vault door.
"Either you’re in this world... or you’re not. Uncertainty is worse than confirmation... so please, let me have the answer right now..."
