Heir of Synthesis: The World Mage

Chapter 459: Two Monsters

  • Next Chapter

Aella stared at Priam, a fervent battle intent radiating from her. Priam immediately realized there was no trace of malice in her, only a pure, genuine thirst for combat.

“Aella, considering your current Rank, what you’re doing is bordering on intimidation,” Elder Lione observed in a calm voice.

The young woman had already reached Level 1 of the Exalted Sage Rank.

Priam realized that she was very close to his own age. In the Ironweald Sect, the dizzying speed at which Priam had climbed through the Ranks and levels was considered absolutely terrifying. However, in this northern region, everything suggested that such aberrant talents were relatively common.

Aella immediately shook her head. “Elder, I can sense a dense aura of danger emanating from him. Apart from you, nobody in this plaza is a match for him. This isn’t intimidation. I genuinely need to fight him!”

Aella’s words made all the surrounding disciples widen their eyes. They knew little about Priam’s strength, but they were fully aware of Aella’s overwhelming prowess.

The girl herself, respected like a queen among the sect’s elite, had openly declared that she had no guarantee of victory against the newcomer.

If Aella had sensed such a vivid premonition of danger coming from Priam, it meant he had a genuine chance of defeating her.

At the same time, Grizzy cracked her fists together, staring at Suien with flames burning in her eyes.

“Little sister, let’s move a little farther away and exchange some combat ‘pointers.'”

Suien let out a dry snort but nodded without showing the slightest hint of hesitation or fear.

At that very moment, a tall, imposing figure appeared in the distance, crossing the plaza with firm strides. She had facial features remarkably similar to Aella’s, but her physique was visibly more robust, and her expression more mature.

“If you’re going to fight, stop dragging your feet and get on with it already!”

As the disciples noticed the newcomer’s presence, they immediately straightened their postures and shouted in unison with profound respect. “Greetings, Central Elder!”

“Get on with it. A battle isn’t a child’s game, so use every last bit of your abilities,” the authority figure ordered sternly.

The crowd of disciples broke into grins filled with feverish excitement. If it weren’t for the oppressive presence of the Central Elder, they would already be roaring and cheering at the top of their lungs.

“Priam, let’s make this a fun battle. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to go all out… I can feel my blood boiling,” Aella said as she clenched her fists, making the muscles in her arms bulge and tighten.

Although she didn’t have a massive build and had trained her body to prioritize agility and flexibility, her muscles were perfectly defined. Her exposed arms looked as though they were intertwined with rigid serpents, brimming with latent explosive strength.

“Fine. Let’s get this over with,” Priam replied calmly, noticing from the corner of his eye that his sister had already moved to a safe distance.

“Then I’ll make the first move!”

Aella drove her heel into the ground. The rocky floor cracked and trembled violently as she charged at Priam, relying purely on the power of her physical build.

Without even activating her Elemental Physique, the arc of her punch made the surrounding space vibrate. It was as though that fist were about to tear through the very fabric of reality.

This was because she maintained an innate, continuous connection with the earth beneath her feet, granting her devastating acceleration and colossal offensive power.

High-level Mages and Sages who specialized in the Earth element were like fish in water when fighting with their feet firmly planted on the ground.

It was common for laypeople to foolishly claim that the Earth element was only useful for raising defenses. But those who mastered the essence of this element at the highest level transformed into true mobile war tanks, capable of massacring any opponent in one-on-one combat.

Priam narrowed his eyes. Shifting his right leg half a step back to establish a firm stance, he threw a straight punch to intercept her attack.

*BOOM!*

The collision of their fists made the entire plaza tremble. A devastating shock wave erupted from the point of impact, sweeping across the surrounding area with brutal gusts of wind.

That simple burst of compressed air was enough to make the disciples around them swallow hard.

Some of the weaker ones on the outskirts involuntarily took several steps back, pushed by the pressure. Nevertheless, their eyes burned with pure fascination. In this sect, brute strength was worshiped like a deity; absolute power held an irresistible charisma over them all.

With their fists still locked in midair, the two stared directly at each other as their bodily auras continued rising to ever-greater heights.

*BANG! BANG! BANG!*

A little farther away, a series of deafening booms echoed through the air. Suien was already exchanging spectacular blows with the red-haired Sage.

In the center of the plaza, Priam’s fists collided with his opponent’s once again, cracking the stone floor beneath them.

Priam was genuinely surprised. He could feel Aella’s physical power increasing continuously, without the slightest interruption. Without a doubt, she possessed the greatest physical strength he’d ever witnessed in a young person.

“Careful… I’m activating my full power,” she warned with a confident smile.

Sounds resembling muffled thunder emanated from within her bones as her bodily energy surged like a raging tide.

Her Earth Elemental Physique erupted into action. A dense, gleaming, earthy-brown layer spread across Aella’s skin, taking shape like rigid armor scales. The ground beneath her feet couldn’t withstand such immense density and gave way, splitting into dozens of cracks.

At the same instant, Priam waved his hand and activated his own Elemental Physique.

The space around Priam instantly fractured into countless webs of spatial cracks, while a terrifying, razor-sharp gale erupted and swept throughout the entire area.

Elder Lione watched the scene with pure admiration shining in his eyes. Such a display of strength was truly worthy of respect. The Heavenly Elemental Body Sect placed brute strength above absolutely everything else!

“Hahaha! What formidable power! But I haven’t even unleashed half of my reserves yet… Watch out!” Aella suddenly burst into laughter. Runes emerged and floated around her as her body’s density multiplied to insane levels.

Within a single second, her body became as crushingly heavy as ten mountains stacked on top of one another. Massive cracks tore through the stone ground for dozens of meters around her. Her offensive power had skyrocketed. However, her agility in wielding the Earth element wouldn’t suffer the slightest decline.

Priam merely nodded calmly as he witnessed her transformation. The Elemental Physique technique was truly something incredible and unbelievable.

However, unlike the people of this sect, his Elemental Physique wasn’t even close to being his main trump card.

With a single mental command, Priam burned his Wind bloodline. In that same millisecond, his Elemental Physique pulsed and gleamed with a translucent hue, as though it had received a buff of an utterly unbelievable magnitude.

“Priam is a monster… He’s capable of matching Aella’s raw power on equal terms!” exclaimed one of the core disciples, standing there with his mouth hanging open.

Another muttered in disbelief, “And he’s still an entire Rank below her…”

Those people had barely finished speaking when… a shocking turn of events erupted at the opposite end of the plaza, where the secondary duel was taking place.

Suien had a thin trickle of blood running from the corner of her pale lips. She was clearly struggling to fight.

Meanwhile, her red-haired opponent had retreated several steps and was hesitating to continue her assault.

“Your Elemental Physique is only at the intermediate level… But I can clearly sense that this is far from your true limit,” Grizzy declared, narrowing her eyes.

Suien flashed a provocative smile. “Obviously. If I were that weak, I’d be ashamed to set foot outside my own home, let alone call myself my big brother’s little sister.”

The light in Suien’s eyes abruptly changed.

“The warm-up is over. I suggest you stop holding back… or I’ll end this far too quickly.”

As soon as the words left her lips, Suien waved her hand, and hundreds of shimmering runes materialized out of nowhere, floating in orbit around her body.

Then the runic markings shot across her skin, intertwining to form a gleaming protective armor.

*BUZZZ!*

The runes connected perfectly, forming a living circuit. The most powerful Inscription in Suien’s arsenal activated on the spot, multiplying her combat capabilities dozens of times over!

It had taken her less than two seconds to unleash the entirety of her true strength.

As she took a single step forward, the pressure of her immense power collided head-on with Grizzy’s aura.

At that very moment, in the center of the valley, Priam and Aella also clashed at full power!

**RUMBLE!**

Overwhelming waves of elemental shockwaves swept across the plaza, slamming into the crowd of disciples.

Even the most powerful disciples on the outskirts couldn’t withstand the violent gusts of wind and pressure without activating their own Elemental Physiques as an emergency measure. Fragments of enormous rocks were hurled in every direction like projectiles. Several disciples were caught off guard and had to evacuate in a hurry to avoid being buried beneath the rubble.

Even the usually stern expression of the Central Elder changed dramatically. She had completely underestimated the power of those two siblings. When both unleashed their strength, even she had to retreat a considerable distance to avoid being engulfed by the impact.

One disciple roared in genuine terror. “Those two are way too strong… They’re two absolute monsters!”

And as always, any Golden Tickets and Stones are welcome. ??
