Heir of Synthesis: The World Mage

Chapter 457: Domineering Principle

  • Next Chapter

Priam and Suien continued advancing, but the farther they went, the more the pressure increased with every step.

Instinctively, Priam closed his eyes and attuned himself to the intent lingering in the air.

An image emerged in his mind: an imposing silhouette wielding two daggers. When that figure moved, the heavens and the stars themselves trembled.

"!"

He snapped his eyes open, startled.

’It’s him!’

Priam was absolutely certain. The image that had appeared in his mind came from the very same young man he’d seen in the memories of his past life. Dandara’s Master.

If this sect possessed something like this, then it must have been an inheritance granted by Dandara herself in the past.

’To master this technique, you must first possess an unshakable will to defy even the heavens. Only then can you proceed to forge the Elemental Physique.’

Priam recalled the words engraved on the crystal containing the technique he’d studied. It was an extremely domineering principle, yet entirely legitimate.

The technique was complex, though not nearly as intricate as some of the other profound knowledge Priam had already studied through his system. However... engraving the magical runes into one’s own body required absolute, millimeter-perfect control. The slightest slip meant ruin.

After designing and merging the runes, fusing them into the body during the final stage proved incredibly slow, demanding willpower and talent pushed to their absolute limits.

Failing countless times was the norm when forging the Elemental Physique. But a single mistake, even a slightly serious one, would result in an explosive and instantaneous death.

How many people in the universe would be crazy enough to risk their lives like that and fail?

Worse still, even after successfully completing the process, the individual would still have to survive a terrifying Heavenly Tribulation.

In short, this technique was the ultimate test for tempering the will of anyone aspiring to supreme power.

Fortunately, Suien was a born talent and had been properly trained to reach this point without failing. His sister could also forge an Elemental Physique, but that simply wasn’t suited to her.

Step by step, the pair finally crossed the entrance.

In reality, it could hardly even be considered an official mountain pass. It was merely a crack in the rock, exceptionally crude and simple. And yet, there was a certain grandeur to that simplicity. It embodied the philosophy of allowing the world to flow naturally rather than shaping everything through artificial sophistication.

As soon as they stepped into the inner territory, they spotted several figures gathered around the perimeter.

Priam quickened his pace and was just about to introduce himself when the sound of curses and violent gusts of wind echoed through the area.

Dumbfounded, he found himself staring at more than fifteen figures exchanging insults and brutal punches without stopping. The impact of their fists rang through the air with a sharp, piercing whistle.

What truly surprised Priam was the appearance of these men. They were all tall, bulky, and stocky as bulls, with extremely prominent, rock-hard muscles.

There were also two women among them. Both were tall, athletic, and exceptionally strong, yet they still retained a striking feminine charm.

Everyone was fighting fiercely, fists flying in every direction. The two women were engaged in a separate duel against each other.

The thunderous impacts of their colliding fists echoed repeatedly through the valley, followed by muffled groans of pain and furious curses. The scene was so chaotic and vivid that even Suien was left bewildered. What the hell was going on here?

"Stop! Fucking stop for a second!" Suddenly, one of the disciples spotted Priam and Suien standing a few meters away and waved frantically.

"Stop my ass! You think I’m gonna stop just because you told me to?! Who the fuck are you to order me around?!"

The first disciple’s shout did absolutely nothing to curb the savagery. On the contrary, because he’d been distracted for a single millisecond by the newcomers, a right hook carrying the weight of a boulder slammed straight into the middle of his face.

*CRACK!*

Blood sprayed from his nose, and involuntary tears of pain streamed from his eyes.

"You son of a bitch! You dared to hit me right in the middle of my explanation?! Just you wait until I kick your balls out through your fucking mouth!"

Completely forgetting the pair’s presence, the bloodied disciple threw himself right back into the all-out brawl.

Everyone there was already covered in huge purple bruises, and some had broken teeth. The two women were somehow even more savage in their fight. Both had sunken cheeks, bloodshot, swollen eyes, and jaws that cracked with every movement.

Priam was left speechless as he watched this utterly senseless display of barbarism.

"Hold on a second, you bunch of idiots! Someone’s arrived at the entr—"

One of the women noticed the pair and tried to warn the group. Just like the others, she was immediately knocked out by a left cross that came out of nowhere.

"Who the hell do you think you’re fooling, you bitch?! You think I’m falling for that cheap ’look who’s coming over there’ trick?!" the other woman roared sharply, pinning her down and beating the shit out of her.

Priam then realized that this massive brawl was divided into two factions. He had absolutely no idea what the fight was about, but everyone was trading nearly lethal blows while unleashing a storm of utterly outrageous profanity and insults.

He and Suien simply stood motionless, watching the grotesque spectacle. It was the first time in their lives they’d witnessed anything like this. The fight was so intense, blind, and visceral that the combatants completely ignored them.

Eventually, all fifteen of them were either sprawled on the ground or kneeling, panting, drooling blood, and sporting such swollen, distorted heads that even their own mothers wouldn’t have recognized them. Only then did the brawl slowly come to an end. It seemed neither side had managed to gain any advantage over the other.

"Brat... who are you?" One of them finally turned toward Priam, spitting a broken tooth onto the ground. He seemed to be the leader of one of the groups. "What brings you to the Heavenly Elemental Body Sect?"

"Um... don’t you want to wipe the blood off your face first? It’s kind of unpleasant to look at," Priam said.

He genuinely found it difficult to ignore the stream of blood continuously running from the guy’s nose and into his mouth as he spoke.

"What the hell does my blood have to do with you?! Spit it out already! If you have nothing to do with our territorial dispute, get the fuck out of here! We’re busy!" The man wiped the blood away with his forearm, smearing it all over his face as he spoke with extreme impatience.

"I came from the—"

"I don’t give a damn where you came from! Hurry up and get to the point!" The guy interrupted him, snorting like a bull.

"Actually... I was—" Priam tried to continue, deliberately speaking more slowly.

"Fuck, do you have to talk so slowly and pompously?! Screw this! Beat the shit out of them first, and then we’ll hear what they have to say!"

Reckless and extremely impatient, the man interrupted Priam for the second time and charged forward like a battering ram, throwing a straight punch that sliced through the air with a thunderous roar.

At that very same millisecond, one of the savage women lunged at Suien without hesitation, aiming straight for her throat!

Priam simply took a calm step to the side, letting the man’s fist sail past him and slam directly into a rock behind him, reducing it to dust.

Meanwhile, Suien blocked the woman’s punch with her open palm. The impact unleashed a shock wave that cracked through the air, yet Suien didn’t move an inch. She spoke bluntly.

"Hey, there’s no need to have such an explosive temper. You should calm down a little and listen, or you’ll bitterly regret it later."

Were these people irrational bulls or something? How could they be so aggressive that they attacked before anyone could even finish a single sentence?!

The woman who had attacked Suien narrowed her eyes, practically foaming with rage at seeing her strike stopped so effortlessly.

"Who the hell do you think you are to tell me how to control my temper?! A shamefully skinny, scrawny, pathetic woman like you thinks she can lecture me?! Let’s attack them together! Just looking at that guy’s face, I can tell he’s no good!"

The leader of the other group grinned from ear to ear, forgetting their earlier fight as he looked at Priam mockingly.

"Exactly! This monkey-faced, skinny bastard wants to act all polite? Do you even consider yourself a man when you’re that scrawny, you piece of shit? If we don’t beat you until you’re nothing but a mashed-up sack of potatoes, then you can consider yourself pretty damn amazing!"

Hearing that — watching those brainless idiots insult Priam’s appearance and masculinity right to his face — Suien’s eyes changed in an instant.

Without realizing it, those idiots had just kicked open Pandora’s box.

*BANG!*

Deafening explosions rang out. A crystalline blue light, accompanied by a wave of mist and freezing cold, swept furiously across the entire perimeter of the passage!

Suien seemed completely possessed. Her body vanished in a blur of speed as she began throwing punches and kicks straight into the faces and ribs of everyone in front of her. The sounds of breaking bones and bodies being hurled away echoed wildly through the area.

*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!*

Giant men spewed blood and flew dozens of meters, crashing into the stone walls of the gorge and getting embedded in the rock!

Priam merely sighed, covering his face with one hand. His little sister was absurdly protective and possessive when it came to him.

"Damn it! That bitch is a monster! Get the guy!" one of the disciples shouted in panic, prompting two others to charge at Priam.

Priam simply snorted and waved his hand carelessly. A blast of compressed wind erupted from him like an invisible hundred-ton hammer, striking both men in the chest and sending them flying through the sky like meteors.

"Shit! We can’t beat either of them!" one of the fallen disciples shouted, clutching his chest, where a single casual punch from Suien had left a deep indentation.

"Who the hell are you people?!" the leader roared, his bloodied face pressed against the ground.

"I’m Suien, and this is my big brother, Priam, you sons of the biggest bitches alive!"

*BANG!*

She roared and punched him in the face like a blue lightning bolt, sending him spinning through the air before he bounced and rolled dozens of times across the barren ground, finally passing out.

Priam merely let out a dry snort and didn’t even bother reprimanding her. He understood perfectly now: there was absolutely no need to be courteous to those troglodytes. In fact, being polite here was interpreted as weakness. You had to be direct and brutal.

"So you’re that Priam guy?! Fuck, why didn’t you say so earlier?! You did that on purpose, didn’t you?! You wanted to watch us get our asses kicked!" one of the few disciples still capable of mumbling something shouted, coughing up blood.

Priam rolled his eyes. They hadn’t even given him a chance to say his own name!

Suddenly...

"WHICH ONE OF YOU IS THIS PRIAM GUY?!"

A thunderous roar made the entire mountain tremble. Within seconds, hundreds of figures emerged from the gorge and landed in the area, all radiating tremendously massive and powerful physical auras.

"Are you Priam?!" Hundreds of people fixed their eyes on him.

"That’s right," he replied, unable to stop himself from furrowing his brow slightly. He genuinely felt as though he’d just stepped into the biggest, most disorganized bandit den in the universe.

"TAKE HIM DOWN!"

Without any warning, discussion, or explanation, that horde of hundreds charged forward en masse, unleashing devastating punches and kicks. Among them, three burly women immediately surrounded Suien as well.
