Chapter 441: Resonance (2)

An intense, magnetic gleam appeared in Dandara’s eyes, filled with unmistakable intent, as she gazed at Priam’s lips and eyes, closing the little distance that remained between them.

"Resonance...?" she murmured in a velvety, teasing tone. "Let’s try something..."

She moved even closer, joining her lips with his in a slow, deep kiss.

Priam offered no resistance, giving in to her initiative. Dandara deepened the kiss, intertwining her hands behind his neck as the connection between them seemed to crackle in the air.

They had been together for more than eight years. Throughout all that time, they had learned to read each other’s every breath, every shiver, and every desire.

Priam maintained a subtle tension in his chest. Sensing this, Dandara’s hands slid toward his, then guided them into place at the perfect spot just below her waist.

Feeling her softness and warmth, Priam relaxed.

In response, he gently moved his hand upward, holding the base of her soft, furry tail. The gesture sent an electric shiver down Dandara’s spine, from the top of her head to the tips of her toes... And in the blink of an eye, the air in the room grew scorching hot.

It went on for long minutes, until Priam, afraid of losing control, gently pulled his face away from hers.

When he opened his eyes...

[Synchronization: 60%]

Dandara followed Priam’s gaze, realizing that he was reading the notification floating in the air.

"Well?" she asked, flashing a sweet, triumphant smile.

Priam blinked, momentarily stunned. "It really... went up by 10%."

"Great! That confirms my theory exactly," Dandara celebrated with a light, melodious laugh.

Then she paused. Her smile gave way to a burning, unbelievably intense gaze, fixed on Priam without a single word.

Slowly, a crimson blush spread across her cheeks and neck as her aura transformed into something purely magnetic.

"?" Priam furrowed his brows, genuinely confused by the sudden change in atmosphere.

Seeing the innocent look on his face, Dandara let out a small, amused snort. Then she slowly leaned in until her lips brushed against his ear, whispering words so intimate and direct that Priam’s eyes immediately widened.

After revealing what she wanted, she slowly pulled away, her face completely flushed, yet maintaining a firm, resolute gaze.

Priam swallowed hard and was left speechless for a few brief seconds... until, as he took in her desire—physically evident—he let out a long, deep sigh.

"It’s true... We’ve already enjoyed this stage more than enough..."

A dazzling smile, filled with relief, bloomed across Dandara’s face.

Seeing that expression, Priam felt his heart slow down. To him, there was nothing more beautiful in the entire universe than seeing Dandara genuinely happy.

Without the slightest hesitation, Priam reached out and took a small box from his spatial ring.

As he opened the lid...

Dandara’s body went completely rigid, and her eyes froze in an instant.

"W-What...?"

She stammered, her breath caught in her throat as she gazed at the two most beautiful, intricate, and dazzling rings she had ever seen in her life.

With calm movements, he took the blue-and-purple ring out of the box. He held Dandara’s trembling hand and, without rushing, gently slid the jewel onto her ring finger.

She remained motionless, in a state of absolute shock, unable to make a sound.

Priam let out a soft sigh. Deep down, he felt a little troubled by her reaction, because he knew all too well about the doubts and self-deprecating thoughts she had silently carried.

"In the past, you felt inferior to me. You thought you had to push yourself desperately to your limits just to make sure I’d keep loving you, didn’t you?"

Hearing those words, Dandara turned her trembling gaze toward him, tears welling up in the corners of her eyes.

"I..."

Priam gently gestured for her to listen.

"Did you really think I wouldn’t make everything official and permanent? Did you think I’d just been playing with your feelings all these years? Did you imagine that, in the future, I’d go looking for someone ’more capable’? Do you really think I’m that much of a bastard?"

Dandara’s body trembled violently.

"NO! Never!" she exclaimed, her voice choked with emotion. "I just... I couldn’t believe in myself... No matter how happy I was, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing... that I wasn’t worthy of you."

Priam cupped her face with both hands, making her look him in the eyes.

"I’ve said this before, but I’ll repeat it as many times as necessary until it’s etched into your soul: I want you by my side forever. Only you. I love you, and no matter what happens in the future, that will never change."

Priam’s voice carried absolute firmness and conviction. It pained him to see the woman he loved place herself on such a low pedestal. But he knew that wound existed because Dandara still didn’t know who she truly was.

In reality, if anyone needed to make an effort to be worthy of the other, that person was him.

Now that her memories were returning, that shadow would finally fade away.

Dandara took a deep breath, lowering her gaze to her own hand as she admired the ring gleaming on her finger with Priam’s aura.

Filled with renewed determination, she picked up the box and took out the second piece of jewelry: the emerald-green ring.

"I swear... I never doubted you, only myself. But I promise I’ll never do that again," she said, her voice choked with emotion yet overflowing with unshakable resolve. "I’ll be your woman, your partner, and your wife. I’ll stand by your side forever. No matter what fate has in store for us, even if my world falls apart, I’ll find a way back to you. That will never change."

Priam nodded, his heart warmed.

Dandara took his hand and, with the utmost delicacy and reverence, slipped the emerald-green ring onto his finger.

Once they had exchanged rings, Dandara turned toward Priam, radiating an overwhelming, magnetic aura.

"..."

Her body and soul seemed to burn with an invisible flame.

She kissed him, but this kiss was completely different from all the others. It was filled with an euphoria and joy too great for her to contain.

After a few seconds, she gently pulled away and placed her hands on Priam’s chest, slowly undoing his upper garments without the slightest hurry. Once she was done, she leaned in again until her lips brushed against his ear, whispering one final invitation.

Priam’s expression changed instantly.

Seeing her provocative smile, he returned the gesture, slowly removing her clothes and savoring every curve of her skin shimmering in the dim light.

The two exchanged an intense gaze, thick with a desire that had been building for years.

From that very second onward, the rest of the world simply ceased to exist.

It didn’t take long for Priam to completely redefine his very concept of living life to the fullest. Without a shadow of a doubt, it was the most overwhelming experience of his entire existence. On the physical, mental, and spiritual levels, their union reached a height he had never thought possible.

Every eager gasp, every muffled moan, and every brush of skin seemed to nourish him with inexhaustible vitality.

They were both swept away by an intoxicating frenzy, as though their essences and World Pillars were permanently merging into a single entity. The feeling of pleasure and belonging ran so deep that neither of them wanted the moment to end.

And indeed, time lost all meaning. The only interruptions came when the two of them passed out. Yet before long, they would awaken in perfect sync, and their connection would resume with an even more overwhelming intensity.

One day.

One week.

One month.

Day and night, heaven and earth, past and future... Nothing else mattered but the person before them, the one to whom they were now connected in every way imaginable.

Three months passed in the blink of an eye within their own private world.

After spending so long immersed in each other, Priam finally passed out, but this time, he wouldn’t be getting back up anytime soon.

It was as though every last drop of his energy had been drained. Never in his entire life had he slept so deeply, so peacefully, or felt so utterly fulfilled.

As for Dandara, her breathing remained steady yet still slightly labored, while her body radiated an inexplicably luminous, divine aura. With boundless affection, she snuggled tightly against his chest. Listening to the slow beats of his heart, she wore a flushed smile of quiet satisfaction, as though she had finally accomplished what she had set out to do.
