Chapter 429: Transcend The Logic

Upon hearing that, Meien’s eyes sparkled like stars. At the same time, Suien’s expression fell. Dandara chuckled and, noticing Priam’s silent, pleading look, stepped in to help him out.

Dandara would also be staying at the headquarters, and they would use that time to train and guide the young soldiers. Priam had to promise that, in the future, as soon as the first opportunity arose, he would take Suien along on a mission with him as well.

Within minutes, Priam brought out his Flying Ship. He didn’t want to waste a single moment, and Meien boarded it, beaming with excitement and anticipation.

Before departing, Priam sent a message through his emblem to the Branch Elder Leader. As the sect’s Chief Disciple, he had enough authority to temporarily requisition a branch disciple without any bureaucratic hassle.

The vessel shot forward, cutting through the planet’s atmosphere and leaving the galaxy behind at high speed. Priam was following a safe route toward the western region of the divine plane.

Meien was practically bursting with anticipation. Priam approached her and gently reminded her that the journey would take a few days.

To calm her down, he started a relaxed conversation. The first topic he brought up was Mirra and the latest developments coming from the Chaos Beasts Universe.

Next, Priam went into detail about everything he’d seen in the inner sect, making Meien’s eyes sparkle with pure excitement. After that, he kept chatting about random things, listening to everything his little sister had to say.

It was a good opportunity to grow closer to her. Before long, Meien began opening up to him. She told Priam things she wouldn’t dare tell even her own parents. For some inexplicable reason, she felt incredibly comfortable around him, to the point that she even forgot he was a man and shared things that would leave her utterly embarrassed in the future.

---

After nearly seven days of uninterrupted travel, they finally reached the border with the eastern region.

Unfortunately, they’d had to follow the sect’s safe routes all the way to that point to avoid trouble with the Sorcerers, making the journey considerably longer. However, from there onward, they could travel in a straight line.

Upon realizing that their final destination lay in the legendary northern region, Meien stiffened slightly, a hint of tension washing over her.

At that moment, Priam decided to explain everything from the beginning.

He began recounting the story of his past and his connection to the Pristine Wild-Spirits in a calm, somber tone.

When she first heard about the auction in the demonic universe, Meien’s expression remained serious and attentive. However, the moment Priam uttered the name Luvinah and described his desperate escape until he reached that isolated tribe, his sister’s features began to twist with anguish.

She couldn’t explain where that feeling came from, but instinctively, a voice deep within her screamed that the story was heading toward a tragically dark conclusion.

The mere irrational anticipation of that ending caused a visceral pain in her chest.

Priam stopped his account before reaching the tragic climax because he couldn’t bear to see his sister on the verge of an emotional breakdown.

He improvised a gentler ending, simply claiming that he’d later discovered the tribe’s members had either fled or been killed sometime afterward. However... Meien immediately knew he was lying to spare her feelings.

She was absolutely convinced that the ending had been a thousand times crueler, even though she couldn’t rationally explain why she was so certain.

Priam categorically refused to reveal the gruesome details of the tragedy. Even so, the essential message had been conveyed clearly.

His ultimate goal was to rescue and preserve that race at all costs. Meien agreed without a moment’s hesitation. However, she still didn’t understand exactly why he’d insisted on bringing her along for this undertaking.

...

Less than a day later, the Flying Ship crossed the border into the northern region’s territory.

Immediately, they both felt a unique energy fluctuation emanating from all the surrounding galaxies. It was as if they’d entered an entirely higher plane of existence.

It was no coincidence that the Northern Region stood as the most prosperous and powerful region in that universe. Countless inheritances left behind by ancient immortals had accumulated throughout its territory, shaping a sanctuary whose wealth and resources were incomparable to those of the other regions.

It was simply a matter of the abundance of resources, techniques, and preserved knowledge.

All the dominant sects in that sector had been founded by immortals from ancient eras. While only a few sects in the East and West enjoyed similarly rich legacies, the North was home to several hundred of them, all coexisting side by side.

From that point onward, Priam no longer had any marked routes or exact coordinates to follow.

The only concrete information he had was that the Pure Lotus Sanctuary Sect was keeping that race captive and hidden on some planet under its direct control. Obviously, the location was kept under the tightest security, since it was an invaluable treasure over which several sects would wage open war without a second thought.

It would have been absolutely impossible for some random researcher or an ordinary sect to track down that planet through conventional means. However...

Priam turned to Meien and called her over to the bow of the Flying Ship.

When she stood beside him, her eyes brimming with anticipation, Priam thought of the system.

[Karmic Connection Search]

[Activate?] [Yes / No]

Priam confirmed. His eyes flashed with a mystical glow — one side shining a pure, immaculate white, while the other gleamed a deep, profound black.

"!"

He turned to Meien and soon broke into an excited smile.

A faint red thread emerged directly from the center of her chest, stretching outward and extending through the infinite void of space in a specific direction.

Priam calculated the thread’s trajectory and immediately activated the Flying Ship’s thrusters, deactivating the ability right afterward.

Obviously, Meien maintained an unbreakable Karmic Connection with the Pristine Wild-Spirits. After all, she had been a Primordial of that race in her previous existence, and even in a new life, her desire to protect them remained engraved in the very core of her soul.

This new system ability had proven absurdly useful, leaving him exhilarated. Not only would it guarantee that he could locate the captive planet with surgical precision, but it also opened up countless possibilities for the future.

Meien didn’t understand what had happened, but she realized she’d somehow been useful. She caught a distinct glint in Priam’s eyes, recognizing it as the mark of an ability that transcended the world’s known logic.

She remembered the first time she’d seen her brother in her life, when he’d saved her family from those Mage Masters. Back then, Priam had used a power that made him seem like an invincible God, and that image had been permanently etched into both her and her sister’s minds.

Meien smiled softly and waited for his next move. Nothing in the universe could ever surprise her if it came from her older brother. To her and her twin sister, Priam was practically an omnipotent figure.

...

...

...

Priam traveled straight in that direction for ten minutes. Then, he reactivated the Karmic Search to recalibrate their trajectory, closing in on their target one step at a time.

Two hours later, the Flying Ship slowed down and came to a complete stop.

Before them stretched nothing but a desolate, abyssal void.

There were no solar systems across that vast expanse, nor was there a single star shining within an unimaginably huge radius. To the eyes of any ordinary person, nothing but eternal, silent darkness lay ahead.

However, through his Karmic Vision, Priam could clearly see the red thread emerging from Meien’s chest, stretching into the void before disappearing at an invisible point just a few thousand kilometers away.

’Hmm... It’s a fold created by supreme spatial power. This isn’t an inscription array, because otherwise, the energy fluctuations and leaks would be easily detected by powerful figures in the universe. To establish a hidden domain of this magnitude...’

Priam thought it over seriously. Having studied the Natural Elements at the system’s Transcendental Level, he knew perfectly well that manipulating the very structure of space so flawlessly and imperceptibly was infinitely beyond the capabilities of any Sage.

Only the will of a true Immortal could accomplish something like this.

The isolation was so absolute that the only access point was a spatial micro-anchor just a few meters across, suspended in the middle of nowhere.

Even if someone happened to discover the general location of this entrance by sheer chance, it would be mathematically impossible to pass through without knowing its coordinates with 100% accuracy.

Furthermore, even with the exact location in hand, the spatial seal would block passage completely, withstanding even the assaults of the most powerful Exalted Sages.

Obviously, the barrier would eventually crumble under a prolonged siege, but the sheer brute force required would take time, immediately triggering alerts for the sect in control.

It was a perfect spatial fortress in every sense. Priam had no doubt that an Immortal had directly assisted the Pure Lotus Sanctuary Sect in establishing this place.

However, when faced with an obstacle considered insurmountable...

Priam smiled.

He possessed a profound understanding that no one else in that universe had, along with the perfect tools to breach the seal without raising an alarm.

He turned to Meien and beckoned her over with a calm gesture. When she stood beside him at the bow, Priam firmly grasped her hand and recalled the Flying Ship into his spatial ring.

The two of them floated in the void, staring directly at the point where the red thread dissolved into the darkness.

[Transcendental Concealment]

[Activate?] [Yes / No]

Priam confirmed and took a deep breath... a purely mental habit to focus his concentration, since there was no air in space.

Suddenly, the fabric of space around them began to bend and ripple in invisible spirals.

The God-Weaver bloodline within his veins was burned to its absolute limit.

Priam’s eyes flashed with cosmic resonance as he prepared to activate the World Piercer.

He would have only one chance. He needed to pierce the barrier with the surgical precision of a microscopic needle passing through a colossal wall.

Fortunately, this wasn’t an inscription — otherwise, even the slightest anomalous fluctuation would be detected and trigger an alarm.

But since this was a passive power left behind by an Immortal, one that the sect merely benefited from without consciously controlling every aspect of it, they lacked any detailed perception of what was happening.

This wasn’t a flaw. No one in that sect, not even in their wildest dreams, would imagine that anyone other than an Immortal could sneak inside.

That was the exact opening Priam needed.

In a fraction of a second, Priam squeezed Meien’s hand tightly.

’Go!’

With a single thought, the two of them vanished from reality, as if they had been swallowed by the void itself.
