Heir of Synthesis: The World Mage
Chapter 357: Disciple of the Legacy
Without losing a single millisecond, Priam made the Immortal corpse advance into the spatial rift.
At the same time, in his true body—still sitting in a lotus position on the barren ground—he activated his own devouring power.
All the corruption pouring out of the rift began to be violently sucked into the seated Priam, preventing the toxic aura from spreading across the planet.
Seeing that profane black smoke flowing out, Mikhella and all the Elders present on the prows and on the ground felt uncontrollable rage surge into their heads.
"Those fucking Sorcerers!"
Gripping their weapons, the Elders gritted their teeth, threatening to rush forward en masse and destroy the source of the corruption.
The shock of seeing that entrance nearly made everyone lose their reason, especially after learning that this planet was protected by the Heavenly River Valley Sect.
These figures, who had lived for a very long time and spent their entire lives fighting the Sorcerers, had already lost countless important people—children, lovers, and friends—in the battles. The hatred they felt toward these figures was infinite, and now... knowing where they were hiding awakened a primitive desire to kill, making them want to attack even that sect head-on.
"Wait!" Dandara’s voice cut through the air like a blade of ice. She stepped forward, blocking the group’s view with a sharp, icy expression.
"Boss was clear: wait until he finishes everything. No one is moving a single finger until he gives the order!"
Dandara’s overwhelming aura made the Elders hesitate, forcing them to suppress their fury as their sanity returned.
Mikhella took a deep breath and nodded. "Send an emergency message to the Elder Líder! This is extremely serious!"
...
Meanwhile, Priam’s consciousness passed through the portal inside the Immortal corpse’s body, emerging within the Sorcerers’ secret space.
The sight was astonishing. It was a colossal dimension, the size of an entire continent, where neither day nor night existed.
The firmament and horizon were dominated by eternal, static shades of gray, without the slightest glow. Pure corruption flowed through the atmosphere like a thick black mist, swirling in perpetual whirlwinds in every direction.
Below, a monumental city made of black minerals rested among twisted forests, deep valleys, and mountains rich in all kinds of natural resources with the Yin attribute.
It was the true sacred paradise of the Sorcerers, a hidden kingdom where they could train in complete safety, create resources, and enjoy whatever they wanted without ever being disturbed.
At that moment, a green window appeared.
[Treasure Detected!]
[Overlord’s Will Orb is nearby]
Priam became excited. He had a 50% chance of finding it in this place, and this time, he had hit the jackpot!
At that moment, the gray world trembled.
*SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!*
Thousands of black trails shot out from the buildings and mountains toward the heavens like bolts of lightning. Rising into the air, countless figures dressed in dark robes appeared. They were high-level Sorcerers, with power equivalent to Enlightened and Philosopher Sages.
However, they all had wrinkled faces, dried-out skin, and declining, decaying auras. They were old men with practically both feet in the grave.
Priam smiled inwardly.
Naturally, this wasn’t the elite power of the Sorcerers in this place. The ’true’ war, commanded by the Elder Central and the greatest powers on both sides, was taking place on extremely distant battlefronts.
The Sorcerers could never have imagined that someone would find the heart of their hidden eastern domain, so 99% of their active military force was far away from this place.
Only the decrepit old men whose power was in terminal decline remained here, along with young apprentices who had no relevance in battle whatsoever.
But... even though they were old and close to death, there were thousands of them at the peak of the Philosopher Rank. The army of Elders led by Mikhella would have absolutely no chance of defeating them.
Priam had already imagined something like this. Even so, he had acted cautiously in case these Sorcerers tried to flee the place. If they tried to run, the Elders waiting outside would be able to intercept them.
The chances of something like that happening were low, but Priam didn’t want to take any risks.
"WHO ARE YOU?!"
"HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO ENTER OUR SACRED DOMAIN?!"
Thunderous roars echoed throughout the entire gray kingdom as figures appeared nonstop, surrounding the intruder.
Priam didn’t bother answering. Through the Power Rune’s connection, he began transferring a sea of Ether from his original body directly into the Immortal corpse.
A sinister, icy smile curled across the corpse’s lips.
The instant Priam began circulating the energy through the body’s empty meridians, something extraordinary happened.
The puppet’s rigid muscles pulsed and swelled with monstrous strength. The veins beneath the figure’s skin lit up with golden lines, and both of its fists were suddenly engulfed in blood-red flames.
A legendary aura that Priam recognized in the deepest depths of his soul erupted from the corpse.
’WHAT?! This... this is the true body of the Fist God!!’
Shock and exhilaration overwhelmed Priam’s mind.
He could never have imagined that the Divine Being who had granted him his supreme Legacy had left his physical body abandoned inside that vessel on another world—and that now, by the workings of fate, he was directly controlling the figure’s own body!
Priam truly received everything that figure left behind, becoming a complete disciple of the Legacy.
Without hesitating for even a second, Priam guided the Ether through the corpse’s structure, invoking the perfect circulation of the Martial Arts he had learned from the Divine Being himself.
That flesh and those meridians had been created to execute those techniques. Even though it was now merely a soulless vessel, when it received Priam’s command, the body reacted like a fish returning to the waters of its native river.
*BOOOOOOOOOOM!*
The skies of the gray world roared. The Celestial Battle Armor was activated on the corpse’s surface, erupting as if an unstoppable golden sun had been ignited in the middle of the darkness.
The corpse advanced.
What followed was a macabre massacre. The Fist God’s body tore through space at a speed that ripped reality apart. A single punch thrown into the air created a red shockwave that instantly pulverized thirty Philosopher-level Sorcerers, turning their bodies into a bloody mist.
"AHHH!"
"WHAT IS THAT MONSTER?!"
Desperate screams tore through the air. The Immortal corpse moved like an unstoppable killing machine. Fists coated in red flames and golden aura pierced chests, severed heads, and crushed the old Sorcerers as if they were dried-up insects.
Everything erupted, and within seconds, the gray sky began raining blood, minced flesh, and severed limbs without end.
The elders tried to raise barriers of corruption, but the Fist God’s sheer physical strength tore through the magic as if it were wet paper. With every passing second, dozens of experts fell into the abyss of death.
They were in an enclosed location and had nowhere to run. Leaving through the open entrance at the back would be madness, because if this figure had entered, they had no idea what awaited them outside. Since they were old men who had lived for a very long time and possessed a mentality of never retreating, they could only try to fight.
When the sky was cleared of the strongest figures, Priam turned the corpse’s eyes toward the colossal city on the ground.
The corpse raised both fists high, gathering the essence of the Celestial Armor and the weight of the Supreme Martial Arts, then unleashed a frenzied sequence of blows directly toward the earth.
*BOOOOM! BOOOOM! KBOOOOOOOOM!*
Gigantic projections of red and golden fists rained down from the heavens like divine meteors. The obsidian city was massacred within seconds. The Yin mountains collapsed, the corruption forests were incinerated into ash, and thousands of young Sorcerers were annihilated before they could even scream.
The entire continent cracked in half beneath the weight of the Fist God’s punches, transforming the Sorcerers’ sacred refuge into a cemetery of blood and ruins.
