Heir of Synthesis: The World Mage

Chapter 355: Isn’t Over Yet

  • Next Chapter

Priam took a deep breath, and his horrible wounds healed in an instant. However, he now had less than 20% of his Ether left to use.

He couldn’t afford to care much about that at the moment either. He looked at the lightning clouds in the sky, feeling the terrifying pressure surrounding him.

*BUZZZ!!*

The tribulation clouds trembled constantly, while sparkling bolts of lightning illuminated the entire world.

Suddenly, two enormous lightning pythons emerged from the vortex. Those lightning creatures seemed alive: they were a thousand meters long and emanated a terrifying pressure.

Letting out fierce roars, they threatened to destroy all life that existed below.

"What the fuck are these monsters?!"

Priam’s heart trembled. He felt immense pressure coming from those lightning pythons. The energies of life and destruction had somehow transformed, reaching another level.

He clenched his fists and focused his energy, staring intently at the two lightning beasts.

**RUMBLE!**

As soon as the two lightning pythons emerged from the tribulation clouds, the sky and earth began to tremble. Most terrifying of all, the two serpents suddenly intertwined, causing an even more devastating pressure to descend upon the ground.

A premonition of death took hold of him.

Priam’s expression changed completely. That attack had exceeded all his expectations.

"FUCK!"

With an enraged roar, his body changed, emitting an even more terrifying aura. All of his Creation Essence was burned at once. At the same time, he began mobilizing the energy contained within the new comets he had just dominated.

[Dominate?] [Yes / No]

He no longer had the luxury of holding back. He even used the System to manipulate the Creation Essence more effectively.

There was no way to defend himself now; he needed to attack to lessen the impact, or he would truly die right there.

*Whirlwind Flare!*

He also burned his two Bloodlines in the attack.

A blinding light exploded from his fists. He slashed fiercely toward the two intertwined lightning pythons.

**KBOOOOM!**

The sky and earth trembled. An overwhelming light illuminated the entire firmament. All the mountains within a radius of thousands of kilometers were reduced to dust. In that single clash, another three Divine Mountains completely collapsed.

Silence.

When the fractured space finally stabilized... Priam appeared on the ground, covered in blood.

*Crack*

’Level 5!’

*Crack*

’Level 6!’

That power was far more intense, but it still contained 10% life energy. He created five dozen Power Runes to absorb it, and had to endure another large portion of the impact head-on.

Fortunately, the Creation Essence was truly incredible. He burned everything he had, but managed to endure.

Now...

Dozens of new comets had been placed under his domain. He was slowly absorbing everything that the old Sorcerer possessed.

Without wasting a single second, Priam began drawing the Creation Essence accumulated within these new Celestial Bodies toward himself. He took a deep breath, feeling that energy return—but now in an even greater quantity than he had possessed before.

*BUZZZ!*

He raised his gaze toward the heavens.

Now there were 6 intertwined lightning pythons descending.

"COME!"

Even in the face of something so terrifying, an insane, excited smile remained on his face.

**KBOOOOOOM!**

Outside the planet, Mishnar and the Elders could feel those lightning pythons exploding across the surface, completely horrified. They knew with absolute certainty that they would be pulverized if they had to face something like that.

But if that Celestial Punishment was still active, it meant that someone was still alive inside to receive it.

They wanted to believe that someone was Priam.

The fury and destruction did not stop.

Not long after...

After the 6 lightning pythons came 12, then 26, 56...

By this point, not a single Divine Mountain remained on the planet. This had been the true destruction of an invaluable treasure.

At the same time, no member of that sect on the planet could possibly have survived.

However, even after 5 consecutive rounds... the clouds condensed once again.

122 lightning pythons emerged.

On the shattered surface of the planet...

*Crack*

’Level 9!’

Priam roared mentally, since he no longer had the strength to do it physically.

He had jumped countless levels in a single day, so he couldn’t have been happier.

All over his skin, it was as if he had now become a beast covered in hundreds of thousands of tiny, shimmering scales.

In reality, those were the Power Runes that had connected with his body, packed with energy.

He could barely comprehend what he would do with all of it. This entire surreal situation had brought him astronomical gains.

But that level of Celestial Punishment kept multiplying. If this continued, it would become practically impossible to endure.

While the next wave had yet to fall, Priam turned his gaze to the north. The entire planet had now become a vast barren plain, completely devoid of any terrain after such immense devastation.

He could see very, very far away.

There, with the naked eye, a subtle black crack was tearing through space. It stretched for thousands of kilometers, looking like a line rising toward the heavens.

’It finally appeared... All it needed was a little encouragement, huh?’

That was the crack leading to the hidden location in space: the Sorcerers’ residence in the Eastern Region.

Faced with this absolute chaos, they had been unable to remain 100% invisible. However, the moment the storm ended, they would emerge into the void again, becoming undetectable.

’Too bad I know exactly where the entrance is now...’ Priam muttered mentally.

Even while hidden, they couldn’t move away from that region. Before, he had no way of guessing the exact location, since the memories of that old Sorcerer didn’t contain such precise information.

Despite having two major bases, the Sorcerers were extremely cautious, and many Sorcerer sects lived on the conquered planets of the Southern Region, physically guarding the locations. Fortunately, that old man had lived for a very long time and possessed privileged information, even though he was still a minor figure within the hierarchy.

**RUMBLE!!**

The heavens came crashing down violently. The 122 intertwined lightning pythons plummeted straight toward Priam.

He snorted, and a sea of Creation Essence flowed wildly inside him.

The System took over the execution, helping him use that energy with absurd perfection.

Possibly, no one in that world would have been capable of reproducing what he was doing.

First, because no one possessed the Power Runes needed to absorb such a massive amount of energy. Second, because not even a Philosopher Sage would have such impeccable control over Creation Essence.

In other words, this was Priam’s unique method, forged with his own blood, sweat, and every tool at his disposal.

If he had ignored the System’s knowledge of syntheses, or its knowledge of Magic and Energy, which had helped him understand a little of the Creation Essence... Let alone if he had been even slightly physically weaker... this would have been his definitive end.

When the final impact erupted, this time there was no sound at all.

Only a flash of infinite white light swallowed the entire planet.

...

...

...

The black clouds in the sky finally dissipated. The ground was a complete ruin, filled with a destructive residual aura that burned the atmosphere.

The churned earth gave way, and a completely charred black hand rose from the rubble.

Priam emerged, vomiting a mouthful of blood and pieces of his own lacerated organs. That final attack had almost completely destroyed him.

He was at the absolute brink of death. His entire body looked like charcoal; the violence of the final assault had instantly destroyed his defenses and reduced his insides to pieces. He resembled a shattered porcelain vase—pieces of his burned skin constantly fell away, revealing the raw flesh underneath.

But... he had won.

’I survived...’

Forcing his blurry, bloodshot vision to focus, Priam raised his head. He fixed his gaze firmly on the northern horizon, exactly where the spatial crack had still been wavering before disappearing.

A dark smile formed across his burned flesh.

’The party... isn’t over yet.’
