Heavenly Harem: Raising My Disciple With Infinite Dual Cultivation
Chapter 236: CH. 236 | Forging Weapon With Magic
Hearing what Lin Tian said got everyone excited. They lined up and filed into Lin’s Blacksmith one by one.
Wei Hutong handled receiving their tools for the time being, sorting them by owner’s name to keep everything straight. Lin Tian waited in the third room, ready to use his power to fix them.
They handed their tools over to Wei Hutong while giving their names. In total, 12 villagers showed up, and some brought more than one tool to be repaired.
An hour passed, and Wei Hutong finally finished with the last customer, an old man wanting his broken, snapped hoe fixed.
After giving his name, the old man said his goodbyes and left. Wei Hutong wheeled the cart back and forth to the third room a couple of times, bringing in all the villagers’ tools.
Lin Tian turned and saw the tools piled up in the wooden cart, it had taken Wei Hutong two trips to bring everything in.
"That’s all of it," Wei Hutong said. "Do you need any help?"
"No need. Wait out front, there’ll be some carts coming in with iron ore."
"Let me know when they get here."
"Got it, Brother Lin," Wei Hutong answered, obediently heading back to the front.
Once he was gone, Lin Tian turned his full focus forward. He raised his hand, summoning his primordial energy and using it to repair the tools.
The repairs were simple enough, Lin Tian just needed to manipulate his primordial qi to reshape each tool back to like-new condition.
It wasn’t difficult for him, being a Soul Formation cultivator who understood the craft of forging. He figured he could finish all the tools in under an hour.
Still, he had to be careful. An Yue was the only one in the village who knew he was a cultivator. He didn’t want anyone else finding out, it would change how they saw him.
One by one, the tools were repaired and returned to their respective baskets by name. Lin Tian kept using his primordial qi manipulation to fix them all, until every last one was done.
He activated his qi aura sense, checking on An Yue inside the house and Wei Hutong out front.
From the direction of the village gate, a total of six transport carts arrived that morning, right on schedule as Xiao Hun from the Xiao Family had promised.
The six carts pulled up beside Lin Tian’s blacksmith shop. Wei Hutong spotted them and went to let Lin Tian know.
"Brother Lin! The iron ore’s here."
Lin Tian nodded and walked out, opening the door to the third room and stepping outside with Wei Hutong. There, he saw two men standing in front of him.
"This is the iron ore shipment for now. Orders from the Xiao Family Elder are that we’ll be delivering iron ore every month," the man said.
The man glanced over at them, then walked up to one of the carts and inspected the ore. The quality wasn’t bad, good enough for forging.
"Thank you. Could you help us store it in the mineral storehouse over there?" Lin Tian asked.
"Of course. We’ll take care of it."
They helped Lin Tian move all the iron ore into the storehouse, with Wei Hutong pitching in as well. Lin Tian, meanwhile, went back to the third room and picked up a raw chunk of iron ore.
The blacksmith shops in town surely sell swords and other weapons, but it’s unlikely they make spiritual weapons.
Maybe I’ll forge a few weapons and embed spiritual power arrays into them.
He levitated several chunks of iron ore and heated them to a high temperature using his primordial qi manipulation. With that ability, Lin Tian could melt down iron ore quickly without having to wait around.
Once the ore melted, Lin Tian poured the molten metal into molds for swords, spears, and other weapons. He formed hand seals to aid the purification process, forging it all through cultivation methods.
The moment each piece reached its ideal shape, he cooled the mold down until the temperature stabilized, moving on to the finishing stage. The final forms took shape, the sword and spear blades sharp enough to slice through skin with ease.
He levitated the weapons in front of him, then inscribed rune characters to embed spiritual power into them. That would make them far stronger than ordinary weapons.
Once everything was finished, Lin Tian laid them out neatly on the table, then carried them to the front to fill the shelves in the first room.
Wei Hutong came in, his clothes dirty from handling the iron ore earlier. He was completely floored to see that Lin Tian had already made five weapons in just two hours.
"Whoa... you’ve already made weapons? That’s incredibly fast."
"Yeah. I did a few things to speed up the process," Lin Tian answered. "How’s the iron ore coming along?"
He explained that all the iron ore had been moved into the storehouse. Lin Tian felt his enthusiasm build. With the blacksmithing knowledge he’d absorbed, he wanted to make even more weapons to fill out the shelves in his shop.
"I’m going to be really busy in the back. So please don’t disturb me."
"Understood, Brother Lin."
Lin Tian went back to the forging room and got back to work, turning more iron ore into weapons. Wei Hutong stayed out front, respecting Lin Tian’s request not to bother him while he worked.
That afternoon, An Yue came by with lunch, one portion for Wei Hutong, another for Lin Tian. Wei Hutong thanked her, pointing her toward where Lin Tian was working.
"I brought you lunch, husband."
"Come in, Yue’er."
The door opened, and An Yue saw a number of weapons laid out on the table, while Lin Tian was busy shaping another one from freshly melted iron ore.
"This is interesting, the Sect Master of the Lingxian Sect, a blacksmith."
"This work is a good challenge for me. I want to forge the strongest weapon there’s ever been," Lin Tian answered. "Should I embed a bit of my dao will into this sword?"
"Better not to," An Yue answered. "Your dao will is powerful. I’m worried that if you put it into that sword, it could end up in the hands of someone with bad intentions."
"You’re right."
"Better to just embed a simple rune array instead."
An Yue stayed there, enjoying the sight of Lin Tian forging weapons. She’d never imagined he could do something like this. Now she found herself wondering if there was anything he couldn’t do.
"If the disciples at the sect got a sword or weapon like this, they’d be thrilled."
"That’s a good idea," Lin Tian said. "We’ll offer these swords to them."
"That way, I can indirectly help them out even while I’m here."
