Heavenly Dungeon: My Subordinates Are All Woman Monsters
Chapter 80: Veyra Vs. Kaelira (part 2)
Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Veyra Vs. Kaelira (part 2)
The blood instantly stretched into several thin crimson tendrils that shot toward Veyra from different directions.
Veyra’s expression changed slightly.
She twisted in midair, avoiding the first tendril, then burned through two more with her crimson flames.
The remaining tendrils suddenly changed direction.
They chased her.
Veyra landed on a tree trunk, pushed herself off it, and spun through the air.
Flame Burst.
A concentrated explosion of crimson fire erupted from her body.
Boom!
The surrounding blood tendrils were blasted apart, scattering across the ground before Kaelira recalled them.
Kaelira did not hesitate.
She charged directly through the fading flames.
Her scales glowed with crimson energy as she activated Dragon-Scale Body, hardening her natural defenses. The remaining flames struck her body, but instead of stopping her, they merely scorched several scales along her shoulder.
Kaelira’s fist slammed toward Veyra’s chest. This time, she activated Crimson Impact.
Crimson energy condensed around her fist. The force behind the punch increased dramatically.
Veyra crossed both arms in front of herself.
Bang!
The impact exploded outward.
The ground beneath them collapsed into a shallow crater, and several nearby dead trees shook violently. Dust and fragments of dead wood flew through the air.
Veyra was pushed backward.
However, instead of resisting the force, she used it.
She spun backward, landed on one foot, and immediately rushed forward again.
Kaelira’s eyes widened.
Veyra was already in front of her.
Infernal Blade.
The crimson blade formed again.
Kaelira raised her arm.
Clang!
The blade struck her hardened scales.
A burst of crimson sparks exploded between them.
A shallow cut appeared across Kaelira’s forearm.
Her regeneration immediately began repairing the wound. At the same time, Kaelira grabbed Veyra’s wrist.
Veyra’s eyes narrowed.
Kaelira pulled.
Veyra was dragged forward, and Kaelira drove her knee toward Veyra’s stomach.
Veyra twisted her body, the knee struck her side instead.
Bang!
Veyra was sent flying.
She crashed through a dead tree, breaking the trunk in half before landing several meters away.
Kaelira expected her to stop.
She did not.
Veyra stood among the broken remains of the tree.
There was a smile on her face.
"You’re strong."
Kaelira’s expression remained serious.
"So are you."
Veyra’s crimson flames suddenly spread across her entire body.

Ragnar sat upon his obsidian throne.
He had been correct. They had not spent their tour walking around the dungeon.
A floating screen had appeared in front of him, displaying the battle taking place on the second floor.
Ragnar watched silently.
On the screen, Kaelira and Veyra collided again.
The shockwave tore through the clearing, sending dead leaves and pieces of broken wood into the air.
Ragnar rested his cheek against one hand.
"Just a tour, huh?"
He shook his head.
"I should have known."
Still, he could not complain.
Watching the battle gave him a better understanding of both of his subordinates.
Kaelira’s physical strength was tremendous, and her Warrior’s Instinct made her extremely dangerous in prolonged combat. The longer she fought, the more accurately she understood her opponent. Combined with Blood Frenzy and her regeneration, she could become even more dangerous as a battle continued.
Veyra, on the other hand, possessed greater technical experience.
Her skills worked together naturally. Burning Body increased her combat capabilities, Infernal Blade gave her a powerful close-range weapon, Flame Burst allowed her to control distance and interrupt attacks, while Crimson Flame Manipulation gave her tremendous flexibility and destructive power.
Ragnar’s eyes narrowed as he watched another exchange.
The battle continued for several more minutes.
Neither woman was willing to give the other an easy victory.
Kaelira eventually unleashed Blood Frenzy, her physical abilities rising as the battle intensified. Her movements became more aggressive, and every strike carried greater force.
Veyra responded by increasing the intensity of Burning Body.
The dead forest shook beneath their battle.
Trees were shattered, the ground was cratered.
Crimson flames spread across the clearing. Blood blades tore through the air.
Yet neither woman fought with the intention of killing the other.
They were testing each other’s limits.
Eventually, both separated and stood several dozen meters apart.
Kaelira breathed heavily, though her injuries were already regenerating.
Veyra’s clothes were slightly damaged, and several scorch marks covered the ground around her.
The two women looked at each other.
Then Kaelira laughed softly.
"I enjoyed that."
Veyra smiled.
"So did I."
Kaelira glanced around at the ruined clearing.
"We may have damaged quite a bit."
Veyra looked at the broken trees and shattered ground.
"Our lord said the dungeon repairs itself."
"Then there is nothing to worry about."
Far away, Ragnar watched the two women lower their weapons.
He dismissed the floating screen and leaned back against his obsidian throne.
For the first time since obtaining Kaelira, Ragnar felt that his dungeon had truly gained another powerful subordinate.
Veyra was already strong.
Now Kaelira had joined her.
And if the two of them continued fighting and training together, their strength would only continue to grow.
Ragnar looked toward the dungeon’s dark corridors.
"Perhaps I should start training seriously as well."
----
In Hetin Town, the rumors had already reached the local adventurers.
The town’s largest inn was particularly noisy that evening.
Several adventurers occupied the tables scattered throughout the dining hall. Some were eating after returning from nearby hunting grounds, while others were drinking and discussing the latest rumors that had reached the town. Weapons leaned against chairs, bows rested against walls, and pieces of worn armor covered many of the adventurers’ bodies.
Near the corner of the room, however, one adventurer sat alone.
The figure wore a dark robe with the hood pulled low, concealing most of their face. There was nothing particularly unusual about the person’s equipment. A simple weapon was strapped beneath the robe, and the adventurer had spent most of the evening quietly drinking without speaking to anyone.
No one paid much attention to them.
At another table, two adventurers were discussing the latest news.
"You heard what happened to Lufast City?"
The adventurer sitting across from him nodded while taking another drink.
"Yeah, I heard something happened there. An outbreak, right? The message reached Hetin only recently, so I haven’t heard the entire story."
