Heavenly Dungeon: My Subordinates Are All Woman Monsters
Chapter 50: A Great Day
Chapter 50: Chapter 50: A Great Day
Back in the dungeon, Ragnar slowly opened his eyes.
For several seconds, he simply stared at the unfamiliar ceiling above him, his mind still caught between sleep and wakefulness. The room was one he had only recently built for himself, a private chamber deep within the dungeon where he could finally rest without being disturbed.
It was spacious, quiet, and far more comfortable than the crude rooms he had used before. Yet something was different this morning.
There was someone beside him.
Ragnar’s eyes shifted toward the other side of the bed, and his expression immediately changed.
Veyra was sleeping peacefully beside him.
Her long hair was scattered across the pillow, and her breathing was slow and steady. The blanket covered most of her body, leaving only her shoulders and part of her back visible. For a moment, Alix simply stared at her in confusion.
Veyra had her own room.
He had personally made sure that all of his subordinates had private quarters within the dungeon. There was no reason for her to be here, especially not in his bed.
Then a faint scent reached him. Ragnar’s pupils narrowed.
The fragrance was unmistakably Veyra’s, mixed with the warmth of another person sleeping beside him. His demonic blood reacted almost instantly, sending a strange heat through his body.
The instincts inherited from his demonic nature were far more troublesome than he would have liked to admit.
He took a slow breath and tried to calm himself.
"Why are you here?"
Of course, Veyra did not answer.
She was still asleep.
Ragnar stared at her for another moment before sighing quietly. Perhaps she had entered his room during the night for some reason and fallen asleep before leaving. Or perhaps she had simply wanted to stay near him.
Whatever the reason, he should probably wake her.
He reached out and gently touched her shoulder.
"Veyra."
She shifted slightly.
Her eyelashes trembled before her eyes slowly opened. For a brief moment, she looked confused, as though she had forgotten where she was. Then her gaze met Ragnar’s.
A small smile appeared on her lips.
"Good morning... Master"
Her sleepy voice was enough to make the atmosphere in the room change.
Ragnar froze.
Veyra seemed to notice his reaction. Her smile became slightly more playful as she pushed herself up, her hair falling over one shoulder.
"You look troubled."
"I’m not troubled."
"Then why are you staring at me like that?"
Alix remained silent.
Veyra’s smile widened.
She understood.
The playful expression on her face slowly disappeared, replaced by something warmer. She reached toward him and gently placed a hand against his chest. ℴ
"My lord..."
His demonic instincts surged again. For a moment, neither of them moved.
Then Veyra leaned closer.
The distance between them disappeared as Ragnar pulled her into his arms. Veyra gave a quiet gasp of surprise before relaxing against him, her hands settling against his shoulders.
Their eyes met.
There was no need for either of them to say anything.
Ragnar lowered his head and kissed her.
The kiss began gently, almost cautiously, but the emotions that had been building between them quickly made it deeper.
Veyra responded without hesitation, wrapping her arms around him as the quiet room filled with nothing but their breathing.
When they finally separated, Veyra rested her forehead against his.
"You really couldn’t resist, could you?"
Ragnar gave a faint smile.
"Not after you decided to sleep in my bed."
Veyra laughed softly.
"Perhaps I did that on purpose."
Her words made Alix’s eyes narrow.
"Then you knew exactly what you were doing."
"Maybe."
She kissed him again.
Ragnar met her kiss with equal hunger, pulling her fully against him. The thin fabric of her nightgown did little to hide the soft heat of her body.
Veyra’s fingers threaded into his hair as their mouths opened to one another, the quiet room filling with the soft sounds of their breathing.
He rolled them so she lay beneath him. The blanket slipped away. Alix’s hands moved over her with careful intent, easing the nightgown upward until she helped him remove it entirely. His own shirt followed. Skin met skin, and both of them exhaled at the contact.
He kissed a slow path down her throat and across her chest, lingering where she was most sensitive.
Veyra arched into him, her hands sliding over his shoulders and back. When his fingers trailed lower and found her already wet, she spread her thighs in quiet invitation.
He touched her with steady, unhurried strokes until her breath grew uneven and her body began to tremble.
Only then did he shift lower, replacing his hand with his mouth.
Veyra’s fingers tightened in the sheets as he worked her carefully, drawing soft, broken sounds from her until she came with a sharp cry, thighs pressing against his shoulders.
He rose over her again. She reached for him, helping push his remaining clothes aside. Ragnar guided himself to her entrance and pressed forward slowly, watching her face as he filled her.
They stayed still for a moment, joined, breathing hard. Then he began to move, deep, measured thrusts that she met with equal need.
The pace built gradually. Veyra clung to him, heels pressing into his thighs, soft gasps escaping with every stroke. When her body tightened around him a second time, Ragnar followed, burying himself fully as release overtook them both.
They stayed locked together while the aftershocks faded. Eventually he eased out and drew her against his chest. Veyra’s fingers traced idle patterns over his skin. The room was quiet again except for the sound of their slowing breaths.
After a long moment she lifted her head and gave him a small, satisfied smile.
"I think," she murmured, "I’ll be sleeping in your bed more often."
Ragnar’s arm tightened around her waist. A faint answering smile curved his mouth.
"I won’t complain."
---
After finally leaving the room, Ragnar felt surprisingly refreshed.
The exhaustion that had accumulated over the past several days seemed to have disappeared completely.
body felt light, his mind was unusually clear, and even the constant pressure that normally rested on his shoulders had faded into the background.
