Chapter 728: Dragon Slaying

Wind follows the dragon, clouds follow the tiger!

When Demon Plow transformed into his true form, a gale raged between heaven and earth, and the ocean waves churned as if it were the end of the world.

Terrifying bolts of black lightning erupted from Demon Plow’s body, forming pillars of light as thick as barrels that plunged into the Azure Sky Sea below.

RUMBLE!

The furious waves roared and the tides churned; the Azure Sky Sea seemed to be in an uproar.

Amidst the towering waterspouts, Demon Plow’s colossal draconic body coiled, sweeping up the columns of water and redirecting them toward Jiang Chen.

SPLASH!

Each column of water was immensely thick and condensed to an extreme degree.

Propelled by Demon Plow’s strike, their speed and power reached the pinnacle as they tore through the air with a deafening rumble.

These were no longer mere columns of water, but had transformed into Water Dragons.

They roared furiously, imbued with Destruction Power.

If any one of these Water Dragons were to fall upon the land, it could unleash a flood capable of swallowing an entire kingdom.

Jiang Chen’s gaze sharpened, his eyes like torches burning with divine splendor. The five pairs of light wings on his back trembled, and with a WHOOSH, he shot forward. He met one of the Water Dragons head-on with a fierce punch. BANG! The Water Dragon was torn apart.

Then the second, the third…

Wherever Jiang Chen passed, Water Dragons exploded, turning into a torrential downpour.

“Demon Dragon Tail Swing!”

The sky full of raindrops connected heaven and earth, forming a dense curtain of water.

A roar filled with cold killing intent came from behind the water curtain as a jet-black shadow shot out, smashing toward Jiang Chen.

Jiang Chen snorted coldly.

As if he had anticipated it, his figure flickered and vanished from his spot.

The black dragon tail struck only empty air.

When Jiang Chen reappeared, he was in front of Demon Plow’s tail. With a flash of purple-gold light, his hands clamped down on it.

His five fingers were as sharp as swords, his body was at the Divine Weapon Level, and his grip was enhanced by the sharpness of Dragon Battle Star Field.

He pierced directly through Demon Plow’s Scale Armor, his fingers sinking deep into the tail and causing Demon Plow to cry out in pain.

A cold glint appeared in the colossal dragon’s eyes. It glared at Jiang Chen and let out a thunderous roar, “Demon Dragon Flame!”

WHOOSH!

A torrent of black Dragon Flame spewed forth.

It transformed into a sea of fire.

Jiang Chen snorted. He pushed his Divine Demon Tyrant Body to its limit, and amidst the surging purple-gold light surrounding him, he stood firm within the terrifying sea of fire.

Even the Dragon Flame, said to be able to melt anything, couldn’t harm his body in the slightest.

“Up!”

The veins on Jiang Chen’s forehead bulged like struggling dragons. His muscles tensed in an instant, becoming as hard and dense as blocks of lead, brimming with terrifying explosive power. Planting his feet on the air, he spun, heaved the dragon tail over his shoulder, and violently swung it to the side.

BOOM!

The colossal dragon’s body was whipped around, and its head smashed violently into the Azure Sky Sea.

BOOM…

A wave surged to the heavens. The terrifying roar shook the world.

A cold glint flashed in Jiang Chen’s eyes as he continued to swing Demon Plow back and forth, left and right, smashing him until he was dizzy. Little stars spun in the massive dragon’s eyes as his world turned upside down.

The massive dragon head shook, spitting out a few mouthfuls of saliva. Its two rows of fangs, sharp as swords and serrated like saws, glinted coldly. A terrifying dragon’s cry thundered like a clap of thunder.

“Let me go!”

He thrashed his tail violently.

But Jiang Chen held on to the tail for dear life, his ten fingers embedded firmly in its flesh, and began to tear chunks out.

Piece after piece of dragon flesh, dripping with Dragon Blood, was ripped away by Jiang Chen.

“ROAR… It hurts! It hurts so much! Jiang Chen, let me go!” Demon Plow roared hysterically. His rage became a boundless sea of fire.

His body shot up into the sky, soaring straight through the nine heavens and piercing through layer after layer of clouds.

Jiang Chen clung to Demon Plow’s draconic body with one hand while the other continuously tore at its flesh. In just a moment, a huge, bloody crater had been carved out of Demon Plow’s tail, everywhere except for the piece Jiang Chen was holding. Blood dripped everywhere, and ghastly white bone was faintly visible amidst the mangled flesh.

“AARRRGH!”

Demon Plow suddenly dove, plunging into the Azure Sky Sea with a tremendous BOOM.

He thrashed his draconic body wildly, trying to use the violent waves of the Azure Sky Sea to dislodge Jiang Chen.

However, to Demon Plow’s utter despair, Jiang Chen was completely unmoved. He took the opportunity to burrow into the bloody crater he had torn in Demon Plow’s body.

“AARRRGH!”

Demon Plow burst from the water’s surface, sending a shower of rain into the air.

Then he dove back into the sea, sending a waterspout shooting up to the heavens.

He repeated this again and again, but he simply couldn’t shake Jiang Chen.

The red light in Demon Plow’s eyes grew colder and more resolute. He carried Jiang Chen with him as he charged toward Yebo, roaring, “Yebo, if you’re not going to make a move, when will you!”

Yebo’s expression shifted repeatedly.

He hadn’t expected Jiang Chen to be so tenacious. He was much stronger than when they had fought just a few days ago.

A ghastly chill flashed through Yebo’s eyes as he aimed his Trident and struck at Jiang Chen.

A colossal aura from the Trident shot out, precise and unerring.

Demon Plow also grew ruthless, swinging his tail to force Jiang Chen into the path of the colossal Trident Aura.

It seemed as if Jiang Chen was about to be annihilated by the Trident, but at the last possible moment, his figure suddenly moved. All that remained was an afterimage with an uncanny smile, clinging to Demon Plow’s tail.

The color drained from Demon Plow’s face. “Stop, Yebo! Stop now!”

“Stop my ass… It’s too late…” Yebo was also drenched in sweat, letting out a frustrated growl.

PFFT!

The Trident swept through the air.

Jiang Chen’s afterimage shattered, but the sharp Trident Aura continued on, unimpeded. With a PFFT, it sliced clean through Demon Plow’s tail.

Demon Plow screamed, his eyes bloodshot as he glared at Yebo. “You bastard! Look what you’ve done…”

Yebo opened his mouth, his face dark and sullen.

‘I’ve been framed!’ he wanted to scream.

Just as the words reached his lips, Yebo’s expression changed dramatically. He shouted, “Demon Plow, watch out above you!”

“Above me?”

Demon Plow froze. His massive draconic body shuddered, and his eyes filled with despair and horror.

Jiang Chen had appeared above his head at some unknown point. The Ancient Azure Dragon Sword in his hand bloomed with a peerlessly sharp light, and the Dragon Soul within the blade let out a mighty roar. Jiang Chen’s robes whipped in the wind. Man and sword alone, he exuded an invincible aura. “Ten Directions Sword Manual—Slaying the Demon Flood Dragon!”

RUMBLE!

At that moment, all light between heaven and earth dimmed, and all color vanished.

The sword in Jiang Chen’s hand became the sole focus of existence!
