Chapter 946: Chapter 385: Merlin’s TNT

Lily seemed very upset, sitting in the chair, helplessly sobbing.

And James obviously knew he was in the wrong, constantly speaking kindly to comfort Lily.

Vivi suddenly spoke up, "Apparently, in the end, Uncle Vernon won."

"Why?" Harry asked curiously.

Vivi turned her face away.

"He’s lived till now, idiot."

Harry opened his mouth.

What you said makes so much sense, I have nothing to say in return.

Vivi’s shoulders shook continuously, it seemed she was amused by her own dark joke.

The scene continued to spin, and after a dizzying whirl, the two of them returned to the real world.

"It’s already light," Vivi said, glancing at the lightening sky outside.

"It’s been a long time," Harry remarked, "Better get some sleep so we can wake up in the morning."

"It’s already morning," Vivi corrected Harry.

"Okay, okay, whatever you say." Harry raised both hands in surrender.

...

The two of them slept until noon, and while having brunch, Cassandra sourly made several snide remarks at them.

"I told you our relationship is good, right?" Vivi asked Harry with a smile.

"Who’s got a good relationship with you!" Cassandra said disdainfully, "Sneaky cat!"

"Compared to Aunt Penny and Mom, you two actually have a pretty good relationship," Harry shrugged.

While eating, Vivi told Harry more about Lily.

It was about the last memory they saw - the first and last meeting between James and Vernon. Afterward, Lily went to the Map Secret Room to vent her grievances to Vivi.

Later, during Penny’s wedding, she didn’t ask Lily to be her bridesmaid, which broke Lily’s heart.

And Vernon also refused to communicate with James again, and sharply referred to him as an "amateur magician."

Their last contact was after Harry was born, Lily invited Penny to a gathering - but Penny never replied.

"So do you think..." Harry hesitantly asked, "you think all I’m doing is unnecessary?"

"But not necessarily..." Vivi set down her spoon, "Lily told me that restoring her relationship with Penny was her wish, and now that she’s gone, this... could be considered her last wish? So what you’re doing isn’t a problem."

"Alright," Harry nodded.

However, right after brunch, the door at 12 Grimmauld Square was knocked on.

It was Snape, with a gloomy face, like someone had smashed his treasured brain specimens.

"Professor Snape," Harry greeted him with a smile, "What brings you here?"

Professor Snape didn’t respond, keeping his face sullen, and asked Harry, "What do you want to know?"

"I already found out, Professor," Harry shrugged, telling Snape, "Vivi has some memories of my mom - from when you were kids."

Snape looked deeply at Harry, huffed, and turned to leave.

This guy, really...

Harry shrugged, not forgetting to shout, "Professor, take care—goodbye, Professor!"

Hearing Harry’s words, Snape walked even faster.

In the afternoon, Neville came to 12 Grimmauld Square.

Accompanying him were Ron and Hermione, and Seamus.

It seemed Ron and Hermione had a fight, as they sat on the sofa, both turned away from each other, neither looking at the other.

"What’s up with this?" Harry asked the two curiously.

The two exchanged a look, snorted again, and turned their faces away.

"Neville, you tell me," Harry looked at Neville.

"I don’t know either, don’t ask me," Neville mumbled, "From the moment I saw them, they’ve been like this. I have no idea what’s going on..."

Harry then looked at Seamus.

"Don’t look at me either," Seamus waved his hand, "Harry, you know me, I’m not really into gossip—"

"So what do we do?" Harry was also at a loss, "They’re just sitting there not talking, what should we do next?"

"Give it some time," Seamus reached for a banana, peeled it, and stuffed it in his mouth, speaking indistinctly, "Hey, couples quarrel like this, they’re mad one minute, then they’ll be fine soon."

"We’re not a couple!" Ron and Hermione shouted together.

"If you say so," Harry chuckled, "Look at your synchronization, who’d believe you’re not a couple... and you, Seamus," he turned his gaze to Seamus, "how do you know couples make up fast? Spit it out, do you have a girlfriend now?"

Seamus cleared his throat, coughing twice.

"Is there really something going on?" Neville got interested too, "Tell us, Seamus, do I know her?"

"You guys know her," Seamus scratched the back of his head, "It’s just, maybe I like her, but she doesn’t necessarily like me."

"Who is it?" Ron, too, couldn’t resist, eager for the gossip.

"Hey, it’s someone from Gryffindor," Seamus said sheepishly, smiling, "Lavender Brown, I quite like her... don’t you think her smile is rather charming?"

Harry thought for a long time before remembering who Lavender Brown was.

"Did you confess to her?" Ron asked hurriedly.
