Chapter 937: Chapter 380: Snape’s Home (2)

"They deserve such punishment." Vivi smiled and said, then lifted her toe, causing her high heel to fall onto the floor with a clatter.

Then, a little foot hooked onto Harry’s leg, continuously tickling him with its toes.

"Ahem." Harry coughed twice to cover his embarrassment.

"What’s wrong?" Vivi raised her head, her captivating eyes looked innocently at Harry, "We’ve been together for so long, are you still shy?"

"Not really." Harry coughed again, "It’s just... well, suddenly remembered what I talked about with my cousin, haha..."

"What did you say?" Vivi asked curiously.

"Not telling you." Harry replied with a grin.

As a result, he was pinned to the bed by Vivi with a magic spell.

...

The next morning, after waking up, Harry dialed Neville’s number.

Neville evidently hadn’t gotten up yet; his eyes seemed barely open in the holographic image.

"What’s up, Harry?" Neville asked groggily, "What time is it now?"

"Seven in the morning..." Harry said, looked up at the clock, then corrected, "It’s quarter to seven."

"Oh my!" Neville suddenly became wide awake, "Is there something urgent? Calling me this early?"

"There’s nothing too urgent, just wanted to tell you some good news, Neville." Harry didn’t keep him in suspense, directly saying, "You remember the escape of Bellatrix Lestrange from Azkaban, who once led the torture against your parents, right?"

"Of course I remember."

At the mention of the name, Neville immediately gritted his teeth.

This name would be recognizable to Neville even if turned to ashes.

"What’s the matter? Did you catch her?" he asked.

"Yes." Harry solemnly told Neville, "I personally arrested her at 10 Downing Street yesterday, the Ministry of Magic decided to kiss her with a Dementor as punishment, and... if you want to witness the execution, I will talk to Little Sirius."

"Of course I want to see." Neville answered without hesitation, "When will the Dementors kiss her? I’ll definitely show up with Grandma at the scene to watch!"

"Alright, I’ll notify you in advance." Harry said to Neville, "Last night, Little Sirius just brought them back to the Ministry of Magic, she still has to go through trial and due process before sentencing... but she can have some expedited handling."

"Thank you, Harry." Neville said seriously.

"Thank what, it’s what I should do." Harry chuckled and said.

After hanging up, Harry went into the dining room for breakfast.

Today’s breakfast wasn’t made by Kreacher, but Annie.

Annie’s cooking was quite delicious, at least that’s what Harry thought.

After eating, Harry planned to go to Hogwarts to find Dumbledore to chat about Voldemort.

However, when he arrived at Hogwarts, he came up empty.

"Albus is on vacation in Vienna." Professor McGonagall said to Harry.

Harry then recalled that someone had mentioned this before, saying Principal Dumbledore was vacationing in Vienna.

Seems he hasn’t returned from Vienna yet, enjoying himself too much to think of England?

And Voldemort, since last night, has been on the run, fleeing into the Forbidden Forest last night, and now heading towards Egypt today.

It’s clear he’s very scared.

It’s not that Harry doesn’t want to pursue him, but last night the green mark kept moving rapidly and irregularly, he simply couldn’t confirm Voldemort’s exact location.

Have to admit, when it comes to running away, Voldemort is indeed a master-level figure.

No one cherishes life or fears death more than him.

Harry plans to wait until Voldemort settles down before tracking him, let Voldemort think he has escaped completely, wait for a few days of peaceful life before further action.

No rush, play with him.

After all, the green mark will take half a month to fade away.

"Are you available now?" Professor McGonagall asked Harry, "If you’re not in a hurry to go to Vienna to find Dumbledore, I’d like you to help me retrieve some magic potions from Severus’s house."

Harry gladly accepted Professor McGonagall’s commission, he didn’t have any urgent matters to attend to anyway.

Last night after dinner, Snape left Grimmauld Square.

It’s just as well he has never visited Snape’s house, taking this commission as an opportunity to pay a visit isn’t a bad choice.

Snape’s house is in Spider’s Tail Alley, a rundown suburb of Cokeworth.

The town sits beside a sewage river, filled with dilapidated houses, abandoned factories, and broken streetlights.

It’s apparent that Snape’s family wasn’t well-off during his childhood.

Harry’s mother Lily Evans also lived in this city, her home is close to Spider’s Tail Alley.

His Aunt Penny had once told him that Snape and Lily knew each other since childhood.

Before the first-year Christmas, Aunt Penny sent those photos, among which were childhood photos of Snape and Harry’s mother.

Harry speculated that their homes mustn’t be far apart, otherwise, they wouldn’t have known each other at such a young age.

Harry plans to use this visit as an opportunity to see if he can find out something about his mom’s childhood from Snape.

Have to say, the smell of that sewage river is really unpleasant, even with Harry covering his nose, a stench still manages to seep through the cracks, turning his nose upside down.

And that alley itself is just too dirty and chaotic.

It matches Professor Snape’s character well, Harry thought the unkempt Professor Snape really suits living here—if he lived like the Malfoy family in such a clean and meticulous home, Harry would find it strange instead.

A dirty head with a clean house, right?

Needs to be respectable, but doesn’t care about appearance.

He arrived at Snape’s door following the address given by Professor McGonagall.

"Knock knock knock."

Harry lightly knocked three times on the door.

After a while, the door opened, revealing a face filled with extreme disdain.

"Potter..." Snape said with disdain, "What are you doing here?"

"Professor McGonagall sent me to retrieve some magic potions." Harry pursed his lips at Snape, "She had to handle things at school, so she sent me."

Professor Snape didn’t say anything, just stared at him.

Until he made Harry feel uneasy, Snape finally spoke.

He slowly said, "Come in."

Harry let out a breath of relief, walked into Snape’s home.

As soon as he entered, Harry was hit with a difficult-to-describe smell.

Saying difficult to describe... indeed it was difficult to describe, as if countless strange aromas were mixed together.

Not that the smell was bad, just with so many aromas blended together, indeed a bit... hard to define.

The setup in Snape’s home wasn’t much different from his office, surrounded by various jars, soaking all kinds of magic potion materials, such as organs and the like, Harry could even see a pair of eyes staring directly at him.

However, for an old bachelor, Snape’s home was considered above the passing line.

After all, people with similar traits may not have homes as clean and tidy as his.

"Sit on the chair and don’t move." Snape pointed to a chair and said to Harry, "I know your kind of little Gryffindor Giant has a very strong curiosity, but I still hope you can put down that kind of unwarranted curiosity, sit there quietly, do you understand?"
