Chapter 282 - 282: Ella Moves In!
Kyle knew he had to put a stop to whatever the Mafia had going on but was also worried this was something Priscilla couldn’t handle on this scale.
If it went wrong, there was no doubt she would lose her life.
Kyle had to think about this carefully but for now, he has bigger problems on his hands.
Nakamura was proving to be more dangerous than he had anticipated.
He might be associated with the Yakuza but this didn’t mean he belonged to them.
Nakamura used his connections to put him in positions he shouldn’t have otherwise been able to.
This would also explain how he rose to where he was in the entertainment industry despite having no ins.
Kyle couldn’t rush into any decision and had to think everything through to draw up a new strategy to face this new threat.
He needed to rest his head because this day had proven to be quite tiring, he wondered if Ella would take him up on his offer.
Kyle parked in the driving lot and noticed Jones was nowhere to be found, Kyle noticed he was rarely home these days but he had learned his lesson.
He wasn’t going to put his nose where it didn’t belong because the last time he did, it bit him in the ass.
Kyle left Cassandra, Jane, and Jasmine in an unfamiliar place but it was a place where crime was almost nonexistent.
They could order food from any nearby restaurant as well because money wasn’t a problem for any of them.
They didn’t need to worry about it but this was only to get accustomed to this area.
Kyle approached the apartment but noticed Aiysha was seated on the steps, waiting for her husband but had a cigarette in hand.
“I didn’t know you smoke,” Kyle said despite contemplating if he should have just walked past her or not.
Aiysha quickly put the cigarette away, Kyle could tell she was spaced out moments ago and his voice was what brought her back to reality.
“Kyle?” Aiysha muttered under her breath but her voice sounded tired, Kyle could tell she was going through something.
His instincts screamed at him to leave it be but she had helped Jasmine so there was no way he could abandon her in her own time of need.
“That is my name last time I checked,” Kyle said with a smile before sitting beside her but made sure it wasn’t too close.
“Want to talk about it?” Kyle offered his listening ear and Aiysha was hesitant for a second.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to,” Kyle added because he could understand why she wouldn’t want to reveal it to him considering how complicated their relationship had gotten.
“It is Jones…” Aiysha muttered and Kyle’s silence allowed her to know the floor was open for her to express herself.
“I think my marriage is ruined,” Aiysha said in a low tone but her voice was shaky.
Kyle knew she was the kind of woman who prided herself on her successful marriage and this was part of the reason she chose to better herself.
If it was pulled from beneath her, it would shatter her world and destroy her foundation but there was no doubt Jones loved her.
Kyle knew they would be fine but there was something that needed to be addressed.
“I don’t think so…” Kyle said, pausing briefly as Aiysha turned her head to look at him.
“I have seen a man in love and Jones meets that standard. You both are going through a rough patch,” Kyle said.
“Rough patch? I have been through that but this feels different,” Aiysha confessed.
Kyle knew giving her advice wouldn’t work, he needed to speak to both of them together.
“You know what? How about you both come to my place tomorrow so we can iron all this out?” Kyle suggested.
He kept on being nice to them despite his social status and how much he had helped them.
“R-Really? I don’t want to take up any more of your time with my drama,” Aiysha said.
However, Kyle knew this was his fault and none of this would have happened if he never befriended her.
He should have kept his relationship with her to a bare minimum but seeing as he was going to become a big part of their lives.
It made sense he would want to know the kind of woman Jones married because this was transitioning into a deeper bond.
And a woman was the representation of her man but either way, this was all Kyle needed to say because shortly after, Jones pulled up.
However, Kyle was nowhere to be seen when he did but this had been a draining day.
Kyle needed some alone time to rest and he finally had it.
There was no Jane, there was no Jasmine, he had his house to himself once again.
Kyle had no idea when he drifted off into a deep slumber but this was proof of how tired his body was.
Kyle soon woke up and to his utmost surprise, an hour had passed even though this was meant to be a thirty-minute nap.
He walked to the kitchen to get a cup of water, he was still dizzy and it was a miracle he didn’t trip.
Kyle knew he needed to be hydrated because there was no way he was going to wake up again until the next day once he hit that bed.
However, he saw someone bent over right in front of him, she had on loose shorts but her butt cheeks swallowed them up.
It was what one would expect a woman to wear in her home but Kyle was in a hazy state of mind so it took him longer to put one or two together.
“Huh, Ella?” Kyle muttered and Ella immediately jumped up, turning to face Kyle in a single move.
All Kyle saw were her nipples begging to jump out of her loose baggy shirt and Kyle realized she was making use of the washing machine in his kitchen.
The shirt she had on wasn’t hers either, it was his and boy, did it look good on her.
She didn’t look embarrassed to be seen in this state and simply sighed.
“I hoped I could do this without waking you up,” Ella said but her eyes soon glanced down at his crotch and there it was, Kyle’s hardened cock staring right at her.
