Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System

Chapter 491 - Three proposals

Chapter 491 – Three proposals

Noah stared playfully at Pale, who sat there looking listlessly at the chessboard. Now, even if she refused to abandon, the outcome of this game was as clear as daylight.

That realization sent a flash of indignation and anger inside Pale’s nonexistent heart, making her snap her head toward Noah.

She almost decided to sacrifice her current vessel to wipe the smile off Noah’s face. She knew she could, but Pale was reluctant to do such a thing.

First, it was not easy for her to finally bypass the Son of Emptiness and enter a Perfected Reality. It had been untold numbers of epochs since she had been trying to achieve this feat. So to give it up just because of a being who would die the instant she showed even a wisp of her true self was not worth it.

Second, Pale didn’t want to act like a sore loser. It would be

unbefitting of her great image…

“You cheated,” Pale said, acting exactly like a sore loser. “I know not how, but you did.”

“Don’t be a sore loser.” Noah chuckled. “I was as clueless as you about the hidden rules of the game. I just learned faster.”

“Are you implying you are smarter than me, Son of Heretic?”

“I wouldn’t dare, darling.” He smiled. “You are definitely smarter than me. Happy now?”

<Stop flirting with her.>

‘I am not.

Providence rolled her eyes.

Pale didn’t answer Noah. She only sighed, cocked her head upward,

and looked at the space around her in solemn silence.

“Are you ready to listen to my three proposals, then?” Noah broke the silence, taking a teacup, raising it to lip level, then sipping gently.

“Let’s hear them,” Pale said, lowering her head back down and looking at him coldly. “But you better know your limits. I can very well destroy everything of you if it comes down to it.”

Noah’s smile didn’t waver. “I don’t doubt it. But you won’t, will you? I know you already love me too much to just kill me.”

“My distaste for you grows every time you open your foul lips.”

“Harsh.” Noah made a mock-hurt face. “But you said distaste and not hate. That’s something already. A win is a win.”

“Hate?” Pale scoffed outrageously. “Hate is a strong feeling, and you are not worthy of receiving that from me. Not even your mother is.”

Noah’s smile stiffened slightly. “Please,” he almost whispered, “don’t tempt me. I can be insufferable. Way more than right now.”

“You are rambling, Son of Heretic,” Pale said in an exasperated manner. “Tell me your three choices and let’s get this over with.”

Noah decided to stop playing. He took one last sip of his tea, put it down with a soft tick sound, then focused all his attention on Pale.

The atmosphere around them seemed to shift, now holding a very distinct weight of solemn and tense silence.

“Here is my proposal, darling.”

“Call me that again, Son of Heretic, and you shall regret it.”

Noah ignored her threat and raised one finger upward.

“The first one: just like you, I give you the option to be my slave.”

Pale’s face grew darker, as if it were about to crack like glass.

Noah continued, unbothered. He raised a second finger.

“The second option is for you to become something akin to a guardian. The protector of my family.”

The Pale Lady now showed an expression of pure disbelief, listening to Noah telling her to become… a guardian. Her? A being able to kill this Perfected Reality if it were not for that damn Son of Emptiness and his One Power?

If Noah noticed her expression, he gave no indication as he continued his words, raising a third finger.

This time, he stopped briefly, amused, knowing he was playing with fire that could burn him to ashes.

But who was Noah without a bit of insanity and audacity? So he steeled himself and parted his lips as Providence shook her head tiredly at her husband.

“The third option is my favorite, personally, so hear me well.”

“Speak already,” she snarled.

“I want you to marry me,” Noah proposed immediately, wearing a charming smile that brought Pale within an inch of beheading him. “I want you to bind yourself completely to me. And as a dowry, darling, I will give you a gift. One you will certainly like.”

“You better speak fast before I lose my patience, Noah.” Her voice was

shaking, torn between destroying everything and curiosity.

Noah snapped his fingers, and a rock slithering with strange,

swallowing power appeared.

The same rock that had officially started his story.

And the power emitting from it made Pale immediately fall silent,

staring at it with wide eyes, her jaw slack.

“This… Son of Emptiness?”

Noah smiled, looking at his past system, destroyed and transformed

into a small rock of power.

This rock represented the power used for his system to come to be.

The power of the Son of Emptiness.

Noah wanted nothing of it anymore. Still,

“Marry me, and I will give you this thing.” He nodded to himself. “I told

you I am generous.”

Pale looked at him with dazed eyes, seeing the incredible opportunity that would open once the power of the Son of Emptiness was in her

hands.

She didn’t even consider taking it by force and leaving. She couldn’t. There was absolute authority inside this place, and the only way out

was to destroy her vessel.

Impossible now that she had seen the rock.

However…

‘Marry him?’ Pale frowned slightly at the thought. Marriage was something only beings like Noah would bother with. Even love was

foreign to Them.

She didn’t know how to love, for she had never loved. And she didn’t think she ever could.

Her only goal, her only drive, was to become strong enough to stand before an Interpreter and ask a single question.

Yet that was the twisted part. To become strong, she needed to destroy what the Interpreters themselves had created. Would she get her answer then? Or would she still be denied?

Pale didn’t know. But she would walk this path without wavering, no matter how long it took, no matter the sacrifice required.

And if one of those sacrifices was letting a simple vessel marry a wretched Reality-dweller…

…then it is a fair price to pay to glimpse the power of the Son of

Emptiness.

With that thought, the Pale Lady finally calmed herself, now looking

at Noah with a serene gaze.

She was ready.

However, whatever she was about to say stuck in her throat as Noah’s

voice echoed first.

“Oh, and yes, it should be obvious, but I just want to make something

clear…”

He grinned sweetly.

“…I want to marry the real you. Not your vessel.”

Pale’s mind halted – only for a heartbeat – before her face twisted as

she cried out in rage.

“I WILL KILL YOU!”

She jolted from her seat and leapt at Noah like an angry cat, clawing

at his face with pure fury, yet unable to do more than that.

Noah let her, laughing without restraint.

“If you are done venting your anger, let’s marry, darling. I wonder

what your true appearance looks like.”

“SHUT UP!”

“Hahahah!”

<Sigh…>
