Harem Startup : The Demon Billionaire is on Vacation
Chapter 1050: Infernal Secretary
Chapter 1050 – Infernal Secretary
A greed magic formation opened beside the long table.
Adrian froze.
Celeste took a step back despite herself.
The formation spun once, twice, then unfolded like a stamped corporate seal made of infernal light. A figure emerged from it.
She was tall, elegant, and terrifyingly efficient-looking. Her skin was pale gray with gold-black script moving faintly beneath it. Six arms extended from her body, each holding something different. A writing pad, a contract file, an ink stamp, a dagger-thin letter opener, a tablet glowing with data, and a fountain pen that looked like it could sign away a kingdom.
Her hair was pinned into a sharp bun. Small horns curved from her temples like polished obsidian. Her eyes glowed with bright administrative malice.
The system flared in Lux’s vision.

Maribelle blinked once. Then turned toward Lux and bowed deeply. "You called me, boss?"
Adrian’s jaw almost dropped.
This creature had six hands.
Six!
And each hand looked more prepared than Adrian’s entire advisory board.
Lux nodded as if summoning a multi-armed demonic secretary into a mortal project room was a perfectly normal business courtesy. "Maribelle."
"Yes, boss."
He gestured toward Celeste. "This is Mrs. Celeste Delacour."
Maribelle turned.
All six arms adjusted at once.
Somehow, the motion was elegant and horrifying.
Celeste held herself still through sheer training.
"Madam Delacour," Maribelle said, voice crisp and professional.
Lux continued, "She will help you arrange your revenge."
Celeste blinked.
Adrian’s head snapped toward Lux. "Revenge?"
Lux looked at him mildly. "We can’t let this go too easily, can we?"
Adrian opened his mouth. Closed it. Because no, they could not.
His project had been sabotaged. His family name had been targeted. People he knew, possibly people he trusted, had tried to weaken Delacour from within.
He had wanted to be angry at Lux. Now Lux was offering him a weapon.
And Adrian did not know whether to refuse the weapon because it came from Hell, or take it because he was angry enough to want it.
Maribelle lifted one of her pads. "Would Madam prefer reputational dismantling, legal entrapment, liquidity starvation, social exclusion, or a progressive revenge package?"
Naomi looked at Lux. "Lux."
Lux gave her an innocent look. "What?"
"You summoned a revenge secretary for my mother."
"She is very good."
"That is not the issue."
Maribelle bowed slightly. "Thank you, Lady Naomi."
Naomi stared. "You know me?"
"Everyone on boss’s relevant household and romantic priority list is tagged for protective administrative awareness."
Naomi turned slowly toward Lux.
Lux looked away.
Adrian also looked at Lux. "Romantic priority list?"
Lux cleared his throat. "Internal structure."
Celeste, despite herself, almost smiled.
Adrian remained horrified.
Lux glanced at Adrian and Celeste’s faces, then sighed. "Maribelle, humanoid form."
"Ah. Mortal comfort protocol?"
"Yes. They never saw demon before. I’m the first. You are the second."
Maribelle looked slightly disappointed. But she obeyed.
Her six arms folded into light. The infernal script under her skin dimmed. Her horns shrank until they vanished beneath smooth, dark hair. The terrifying glow in her eyes softened into a sharp gray gaze.
Within seconds, what remained was a neat, elegant woman in a tailored secretary uniform.
Black blazer.
White blouse.
Pencil skirt.
Hair pinned perfectly.
One slim tablet in hand.
One pen tucked between her fingers.
She looked like a high-level executive assistant who could organize a hostile takeover before lunch and judge your grammar while doing it.
Adrian swallowed. Somehow, the humanoid version was less horrifying and more alarming. Because now she looked plausible. Like she could walk into any corporate office, request documents politely, and destroy careers before anyone realized the apocalypse had arrived wearing heels.
Maribelle smiled. "Is this appearance acceptable?"
Celeste stared at her. Then slowly nodded. "Yes."
Lux smiled. "Good. Maribelle will remain here with you while Adrian and I inspect the promised matter."
Adrian stiffened. "You want to leave that thing with my wife?"
Maribelle’s smile did not move.
Lux’s gaze cooled. "Her name is Maribelle."
Adrian stopped.
Lux’s voice remained polite, which made it worse.
"And yes. I am leaving her with Celeste because Celeste appears capable of understanding retaliation without immediately trying to attach Naomi to the invoice."
Adrian’s face tightened.
Lux turned to Celeste. "She will not harm you. She will not make you sign anything unless you request documents prepared."
Maribelle nodded. "All consultations are non-binding unless boss says otherwise."
Lux added, "She will gather the names you suspect. Compare them with what I flagged. Prepare options."
Celeste’s gaze lowered to the tablet in Maribelle’s hand.
Options.
For seven years, she had felt trapped between Adrian’s pride and the family’s silence. Now options had arrived from Hell.
That should have disgusted her. Instead, it steadied something inside her.
Adrian watched his wife.
He had noticed her glances at Lux and resented them.
But now he saw something colder in her face.
Maybe Celeste had been waiting for someone to name the problem aloud too.
Celeste looked at Adrian. "I will stay here." Her voice left no room for argument.
Lux smiled faintly. "Excellent." He turned toward Adrian. "Lead the way."
Adrian turned toward the door. "This way."
Lux followed.
Naomi moved with him.
Adrian glanced back. "Naomi stays."
Lux stopped.
Naomi’s face hardened.
Adrian’s voice was controlled. "The place is not safe."
Lux looked at Naomi. He let her answer.
Naomi lifted her chin. "I’m going."
Adrian’s eyes tightened.
Lux smiled faintly. Then he looked at Adrian. "You heard her."
For one second, father and demon prince stared at each other. Then Adrian turned away. "Fine."
They left the project room behind.
Celeste remained standing beside Maribelle.
When the door closed, silence settled between mortal mother and infernal secretary.
Maribelle lifted her tablet. "Shall we begin revenge planning, madam?"
Celeste looked at the closed door.
Then at the screen showing the red cluster of sabotage.
Slowly, her composed expression hardened. "Yes," she said. Her voice was soft. "But we will call it strategy."
Maribelle smiled. "Of course, madam. Revenge with better stationery."
