This was all because, in their eyes, Yu Fei was an outsider. Thus even if Yu Fei was innocent, they would still treat him as if he had done something wrong.

Yu Dong sighed and then said to Xiao Cai, “You don’t have to worry. I will take Uncle Fei with me to the Big River Village. Once he leaves,these people will stop talking as well.”

Yu Dong knew that if Yu Fei was to stay here, he would only find it hard to recuperate, thus it was better for him to go back with her and not stay in this rotten village. Who knows what might happen to Yu Fei if he was to stay in this village?

Xiao Cai did not agree nor did he refuse, he simply walked inside the house where he was living with his sister and packed a few of Yu Fei’s clothes.

He knew what Yu Dong said was correct but when he thought about how his brother-in-law who was like a father to him would leave, Xiao Cai felt uncomfortable.

But he also admitted that what Yu Dong said was indeed correct. If Yu Fei was to return to this village he would not be able to recuperate properly with all the rumours going around, it was better for him to leave.
