Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian

Chapter 1073 - : Nian Junting’s Face Was Extremely Dark

Chapter 1073: Nian Junting’s Face Was Extremely Dark

After stiffening up for a moment, Luosang turned around. “Junting, where’s Liuxi’s present?”

Nian Junting was confused. He didn’t remember her buying a present for her brother.

“Did you leave it in the car even though I told you to carry it?” Luosang quickly thought of something, “It’s that Burberry checkered suit.”

Nian Junting became angry and thought, Wasn’t that for me?

“Hubby up and go get it.” Luosang pushed him towards the door. She softly said beside his ear, “Liuxi rarely asks for gifts from me. Besides, it won’t fit. I will compensate you with three sets.”

Nian Junting reluctantly went downstairs.

Luosang glanced toward the kitchen and felt that something was a little off. “Aren’t you cooking dinner? Why isn’t the rice cooking?”

“I just… got here, so I forgot.” Yan Su hurriedly started scooping out rice.

Eight minutes later, Nian Junting brought a dark green checkered blazer upstairs. It went with a pair of black pants.

Mo Liuxi guessed what was going on after seeing the size. He wanted to return it. When he saw Nian Junting’s expression, he couldn’t help himself and smilingly went to his room to change into the new suit.

He wasn’t built like Nian Junting, but since he had grown taller recently, he unexpectedly filled out the suit. Additionally, these clothes weren’t overly stiff or strict. The ankle-length pants showed sophisticated and nice-looking ankles. Along with his handsome face, he looked like a young master, both elegant and youthful.

Yan Su and Luosang both stared. Nian Junting’s face was extremely dark. He pulled Luosang toward him.

She hurriedly snapped back to reality and stammered, “These clothes…”

“This suits me very well,” Mo Liuxi said with a smile. “Thank you, sister and brother-in-law.”

Nian Junting’s expression was cold. He decided not to look anymore and turned around. He saw the two theatre tickets on the living room table. He walked over and picked them up to take a look. His eyebrows slightly raised.

“Which woman are you intending to watch this play with?” he asked.

Luosang’s eyes lit up when she heard him. Nian Junting had already said that Mo Liuxi could have anyone he liked. The condition for her coming over was to not tell Mo Liuxi beforehand so perhaps there would be some girl at his home. In the end, there was a girl, but she was Yan Su.

That wasn’t anything to be surprised about. Since she frequently contacted Yan Su, she knew that when her friend didn’t have work she would normally be helping to take care of Mo Liuxi.

A hint of awkwardness flashed in Yan Su’s eyes, but it was Mo Liuxi who unhurriedly answered, “A friend of mine who works at the theatre gave them to me.”

“These are first row seats to tonight’s show,” Nian Junting said as he raised his handsome brows. “There is only 30 minutes before it starts. Are you going on a date with someone?”

“A girl?” Luosang was curious.

“No.” Mo Liuxi bent down to smooth out the suit.

Nian Junting smiled. He pulled Luosang to him and said, “Since you haven’t asked anyone out, why don’t you give these tickets to Luosang and I? We haven’t seen a play in a long time. Luosang, what do you think?”

“Sure.” Luosang nodded. “Anyway it will be boring if we just go home.”

Yan Su silently looked toward Mo Liuxi and saw that the lines on his face were violently twitching. Since he had already said that he never asked anyone out, there were no grounds for him to object.

“Let’s not have dinner here. We won’t make it in time,” Nian Junting said as he looked at his watch.
