Chapter 2472: The Return Of Unity.

Their current state of existence made Legion-1 say, “We have returned to the good old days.”

Legion-10 said in agreement, “Right. There is nothing better than sweet unity.”

Legion-2 sighed and said, “How I’ve missed having my own body.”

Legion-5 complained a little, saying, “This isn’t my real body, and it doesn’t have my power, but it will have to do for now.”

Every clone was satisfied with this development, even if it wasn’t what they were used to. This was mainly because this state of existence was very similar to the unity of their past.

All of their bodies were separate, but it was one no matter the distance between them. So they can share the divine abilities of all of their slaves among themselves.

This state of existence is similar to how they were able to share their concepts when they were origin gods. It is only lacking from the state of unity when they could combine all of their power to raise the individual power of each of them.

That state was the one they achieved when they built Legion-0 and used him to combine the power of their worlds. They don’t have something like that right now and can only share their divine abilities.

If they had something like Legion-0, they should be able to combine the power of their divine power so that each one of them will gain more than a 27-times boost from their divine power.

In fact, not only can’t they share their divine power, but they don’t even have any divine power. This is the trade-off for using the Web of Control divine ability and being a slave master.

Originally, the divine form of slave masters is weak and squishy. The only advantage that the divine form of slave masters has is that the individual worms are fast and can be used to escape, thereby saving the life of the slave master.

So even if their slaves gain the enhancement of their divine form, it won’t be anything impressive. Unfortunately, their slaves won’t even get to use the meager benefit of their divine form because the rank 9 Web of Control divine ability can’t do it.

Legion didn’t care about this weakness anyway. They have other divine forms and other sources of divine power that they can use through their clones, so they don’t mind that they can’t make use of the weak divine form of slave masters.

They also don’t care that the limit of clones that they can have is 12. Actually, the limit of clones that angels of slavery can have is dependent on how many souls they have. So if they had 100 souls, they would be able to have 100 clowns through the Web of Control divine ability.

The weakest angels of slavery with only one pathway have three clones. Legion has four times as many clones as that, so they don’t mind at all that they can’t have more than 12 clones.

Besides, even if they could have more than 12 clones, they doubt they will have much use for them. What they have is just right.

Their slaves could already share their divine abilities through the pathway of the slave granted by the rank 2 Life Bond divine ability, and they could control their slaves through the rank 4 puppetry divine ability. So it was very quick for them to get used to their new state of having clones.

It was as if the Web of Control divine ability was completing something that had begun right from the moment they became slave masters and gained the rank 1 Mark of Bondage divine ability.

For other angels of slavery, this divine ability would just be another divine ability for them to use to control others. But for Legion, this divine ability completed them.

With twelve bodies, they can now do more than one thing at a time. It reminded them of the good old days when they roamed around the Realm of High Heaven, terrorizing various races and different people.

After reminiscing about the past for a short while, they began assigning each other work.

Legion-1 was to watch over the Hydra Kingdom and the advancement requirement of the pathway of killing that was going on. He will gain the help of Legion-2 and Legion-3 for these, as the three of them are the souls in charge of the pathway of killing.

Their job is to make sure that the advancement requirement is completed. So they have to make sure that at least 10 million people are killed and no one interrupts the process.

Legion-4, Legion-5, and Legion-6 are in charge of the pathway of undying. So they were assigned the job to find and kill an angel of undying.

They have met the advancement requirement of the pathway of undying for rank 9. But they still need a rank 9 divine flesh of that pathway before they can advance.

They can gain the divine flesh they want from a godclad or go to the spiritual dimension to hunt diamond rhinos. They chose to execute the former option first. If this plan doesn’t work and they can’t kill an undying angel, then they will go to the spiritual dimension.

The next job was assigned to Legion-7, Legion-8, and Legion-9. As the ones in charge of the pathway of slavery, they were given the job to find out how they can become goldings and find the authority of the pathway of slavery.

The angel of slavery has already reached the limit of the sequence. The only way forward is to become goldings or become the god of the pathway.

In the past, they knew very little about how to become godlings, but they gained useful information about this from the minds of the demigod telepaths that they have brainwashed and the mind of the angel of slavery that they just killed.

So they know that they have to meet three very important requirements in order to become godlings.
