Chapter 437: Chapter 315: A Fine Line Between Heaven and Hell
Xiong Tianzong lay on a water bed in the middle of the wine pool, reveling in the service of the women around him.
Though the spot was exorbitantly priced, he would come even if it meant taking out a loan just to enjoy this feeling—being the center of attention, surrounded and served by a throng of women.
This was precisely why, despite having made it to the rank of captain, his finances were still tight.
’Fortunately, the money from the Sun family should be arriving soon,’ he thought. ’Then I’ll finally be able to catch a break.’
At that thought, he glanced down with satisfaction at the woman servicing him and tipped her five hundred Alliance Points on the spot.
"Thank you, Boss!" the woman mumbled, her words indistinct. She then continued her work with even greater enthusiasm.
Xiong Tianzong let out a long, contented sigh and laid his head on another woman’s lap.
She began to gently massage his head.
Thus, Xiong Tianzong savored the ultimate experience: having both of his heads serviced and massaged at the same time.
This was why he couldn’t tear himself away from the "Wine Pool and Meat Forest."
In a place like this, if you had money, you were king.
Here, you could forget all your worldly troubles and indulge in the heights of earthly pleasure. And if you were generous with your tips, the boost to your ego would be even greater.
Take the five hundred Alliance Points Xiong Tianzong had just given out, for instance. On the outside, that was enough for an ordinary family of three to live on for a month. But in here, it was merely a tip for a single woman.
On his ship, Xiong Tianzong was known for being incredibly stingy, penny-pinching on even the crew’s meals. But here, it was as if he were a completely different person, spending money like water just to earn a few admiring glances.
A place like this just had that kind of Magic Power.
But he had no idea that as he indulged himself to his heart’s content, a pair of eyes was watching him coldly from the shadows.
Wu Liangchen had thought it would take some effort to find Xiong Tianzong. He never expected to spot him after just a brief search.
It was no wonder, really—the enormous water bed floating in the middle of the wine pool was just too conspicuous.
Even though the lighting had been specially treated to shield the guests from the prying eyes of ordinary people, it had little effect on Wu Liangchen.
He could see him, but getting close was another matter entirely.
There were no security guards patrolling the perimeter of the wine pool, but Wu Liangchen was certain that any unusual move on his part would immediately attract the establishment’s attention.
After all, they could even afford to hire Adepts, which spoke volumes about their resources.
After a moment’s thought, Wu Liangchen pressed the button on the side of his sofa.
In the blink of an eye, a young woman suspended from a wire, her outfit so revealing it was barely there, swung down to Wu Liangchen’s side.
"What can I get for you, sir?"
Feigning drunkenness, Wu Liangchen pointed a finger toward the distant wine pool and said boisterously, "I hear you have water beds that float on the wine pool?"
"We do, sir, but that’s an extra charge!" The young woman’s voice was soft and sweet, her gaze utterly captivating. She had clearly been professionally trained.
"A charge? I’m here to spend money, you think I’m afraid of a charge? Here, get one for me!" Wu Liangchen said with a great show of bravado, thrusting a card at her.
The young woman’s face lit up.
After all, she would earn a handsome commission if a client placed an order through her.
On top of that, after getting a look at Wu Liangchen’s face, her gaze became so sultry it could practically drip.
"Of course, sir. I’ll arrange it for you right away."
As she spoke, she swiped the card through a device on her wrist, murmured a few words into it, and then turned back to Wu Liangchen with a look of pure seduction.
"Sir, do you have a preferred attendant in mind? If not... what about me?" she asked, sidling closer, her body swaying as she gently brushed against him.
Wu Liangchen was in no mood for this; he was worried Xiong Tianzong might slip away. So, without giving it a second thought, he put on a smitten expression and chuckled lecherously.
"Alright. You’re a feisty one, I like it. You’ll do."
The young woman was overjoyed. "Thank you, Boss!"
It was the rule at the "Wine Pool and Meat Forest": the women addressed all clients as "sir" upon first meeting, but once they were chosen, they had to call him "Boss."
This was to make the paying customers feel more powerful and invested.
Just then, the water bed was ready. The young woman linked her arm with Wu Liangchen’s and led him to the edge of the wine pool.
A few other women were waiting there.
Even though the "Wine Pool and Meat Forest" was the most high-end nightclub in the wharf’s red-light district, not many people were willing to splurge on a water bed.
So, the moment word got out that a "Boss" was getting a bed, a crowd of women flocked over.
Upon seeing Wu Liangchen, however, the women didn’t crowd around him, as the "Wine Pool and Meat Forest" had a strict rule against harassing clients.
That didn’t stop them, however, from generously showing off their own gorgeous figures.
Some went even further, making eyes at Wu Liangchen and swaying seductively, hoping to be chosen.
Wu Liangchen, however, kept up his drunken act, and with his arm around the young woman beside him, he climbed right onto the water bed.
Soon, the water bed was slowly drifting toward the center of the wine pool.
The rich aroma of wine was so thick here that the scent alone was intoxicating.
The water bed was even stocked with food, drinks, and water—a thoughtful touch.
The young woman first attentively poured Wu Liangchen a glass of water.
"Boss, why don’t you lie down and rest for a bit? I’ll give you a head massage."
But Wu Liangchen paid her no mind. His gaze was fixed on Xiong Tianzong in the distance.
Xiong Tianzong, for his part, was completely lost in his own ecstasy, in no state to notice anything around him.
