Chaotic Land

Four wizard forces are battling in the Dead Land. The Dead Land is one of the most difficult terrains in the Chaotic Land.

The name became popular because of the history of battles that took place here. If someone dug up the place, they would find a lot of remains.

It could be said that the wizard forces were fighting in a mass graveyard, since these were the remains of past wizards.

There was a time when evil wizards used this place in history. If the wizards are not careful, they could suffer from this unknown place.

Boom!

The wizards of various magic paths are clashing. The spell attacks were overturning the land. It caused all the buried remains to appear on the surface.

The wizard forces ignored all of it. For them, the whole Chaotic Land was like that. No one was going to ask them to take responsibility for it.

So, they were going all out.

Meanwhile,

The Raven Aircraft is flying across the sky. In the cockpit, I’m observing the skies. It didn’t take long for me to sense a mana disturbance in the surroundings.

The next second, I stopped the aircraft. I turned off the stealth mode. Then, I exited the aircraft and put it inside the system space.

Swoosh!

The mana disturbance in the environment shows that I have reached the battle site. I stood in mid-air using my flight ability.

Then, I took a white mask from the system space and wore it on my face. I looked at the ground below and landed.

I used the system to confirm there was no one nearby. Then, I started moving forward. I have decided to go through the battlefield.

I’m totally new to the place. I’m not going to waste time by taking a detour. Soon, I heard a loud booming noise.

It’s occurring continuously. It shows that the fighting is still going on and the main area of the battlefield is not here.

As I continued to move forward, I began to see wizards. They are dressed in different clothes. Some are hiding their faces. Then, there are people who are wearing hats.

It’s possible that they come from the same faction. I tried my best to avoid them. But I was wrong. They have unique wizards as well.

They found me.

“Hey, you, stop there!”

“The masked man could be from the opposite side.”

“We need to capture him.”

The other wizards discovered me as well. But they are not moving forward, because they can’t see through the strength of the person.

They were just level-8 and level-9 wizards.

On the other hand, I saw through their strength. Knowing that they were small fries, I continued on my way. On the way, I used the system to shield my mana.

Seeing that, the faces of the people changed drastically.

“We are no match for this person. Inform the senior brothers. They are all Supreme Wizards,” one of them said.

Hearing that, the others agreed. They were all from the hat-wearing faction.

I continued moving. I noticed the terrain beginning to change. The color of the soil is black. It takes me down memory lane.

No ordinary place has black soil. I used the system to figure it out. Then, I learned that this place is an ominous place.

Since the old era, the place has witnessed numerous battles. It’s a blood-soaked land. My heart stirred.

If it were back home, such a place would be listed as a dangerous area. No public would be allowed to enter.

To think the wizards here are using the place as a battlefield. I’m sure they are aware of it as well.

My gaze turned solemn. I decided not to linger in the place. I knew once you get polluted, it’s hard to expel the polluted mana from the body.

Just as I’m going forward, four hat-wearing wizards blocked the path. My mouth curves into an arc.

There are four Supreme Wizards. Behind them, more people have come.

I said, “Why are you guys blocking my path?”

“I’m unrelated to your battle. I have somewhere to go,” I added.

“Ha….Ha….Ha….,” a burly man let out a laugh.

Others had smiles on their faces.

“Who doesn’t know we have formations here? You are clearly a spy sent by the Spider Evil Faction,” he said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, I felt bad. If there is a formation ahead, then something must be going on.

It’s possible for a Magic Lord or Forbidden Wizards to be there.

“Attack,” the burly man said.

Hearing that, I gave a cold snort and cast an instant magic spell. It’s the 8th stage of the multiplier.

“Gravity Surge”

The next moment, everyone around me felt a sudden spike in gravitational pressure.

Boom!

The burly man and the others looked horrified. Their mana cores, inner organs, and bones were crushed. The wizards behind them exploded into pieces.

This happened within seconds. None of the wizards within the specific range survived.

Seeing the power of the 8th stage of stacking, I was satisfied. Everyone was killed instantly. Then, I flew over to the corpses of the Supreme Wizards.

Then, I collected their valuables. I found a map and mana stones. I shook my head and collected all the storage bracelets into the system space.

I ignored the corpses of the low-level wizards. I resumed my journey. Though there are formations ahead, I decided to take a look first.

Soon, I reached an area where the terrain is plain. Not a single wizard can be seen.

[Ding! The Forbidden Level Magic Formations have been detected.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, my heart stirred. I was right. There are Forbidden Wizards here.

Only someone with the level of a Forbidden Wizard can set up the formation. Should I take a detour? I haven’t reached the actual battlefield yet.

But I could hear the constant booming sound. Right now, I’m standing at the outer area of the battlefield.

This place is safe from the main area. Otherwise, everyone would be affected by the aftermath.

“What to do?” I asked myself.

Then, I thought of observing the place first.
