Chapter 1851: Part 2: Green Elemental Tower Wizards
Chapter 1851: Part 2: Green Elemental Tower Wizards
Crystal City-Office
Elder Blake and others are discussing matters. Just then, they get the news that people from the Green Elemental Tower are coming.
Elder Blake is stunned. The other officials are shocked. They know the rivalry between the Green Elemental Tower and Wizard Vincent. They are worried that a fight could occur.
“Where are they?” Elder Blake asks.
“Elder, they are on their way here,” the official replies.
Hearing that, Blake breaks out into a cold sweat. He thinks the meeting is unavoidable now. He stands up from his seat.
He looks at the official and says, “Go and inform Wizard Vincent about their arrival. I’m sure they are here for him.”
The official nods his head and leaves. Then, Elder Blake takes the rest of the officials to greet the Green Elemental Tower Magic Lord and the others.
Meanwhile
An old man wearing a Green Elemental uniform and mage robes has arrived. There are two middle-aged men behind him; they are Supreme Wizards.
The old man’s name is Clint. The Supreme Wizards are Wade and Cody. Clint’s eyes flash with disdain.
He looks down upon the Silver Tower, but he had to come here because of the higher-ups. They arrive at the administration office.
Clint sees that there are wizards waiting for them. They are the officials. A mocking smile appears on his face. Wade and Cody have wide grins on their faces.
“Elder Clint, our Crystal City greets you and the Green Elemental Tower wizards,” Elder Blake says with a smile.
“We don’t need your greeting. Take me to see Wizard Vincent. We heard he has opened a new business. We are going to congratulate him,” Clint says in a condescending tone. Clearly, he shows a lack of respect for the wizards.
Elder Blake and the officials’ faces change drastically. Elder Blake is a Magic Lord as well. He was right; he understands that these people have come with bad intentions.
Fortunately, he had already sent someone to alert Wizard Vincent.
“Alright, I’ll take you there,” Blake says.
…
The Shop
I was in the gallery room. I received the official and learned the news from him. I was surprised; Elder Blake is really helping me out. So, I told the official to thank Elder Blake. I will remember his favor.
The official left the room. Next, I summoned the members. Everyone came to the office.
“A Magic Lord from the Green Elemental Tower is coming. He might try to provoke you guys, so be careful. I won’t let the worst happen,” I said.
The members nodded their heads.
“Master, should we close the shop?” Otto asked.
“There is no need. You guys act as usual,” I told them.
Then they left. I leaned back and began to wait for the guests. I’m sure something is going to happen today.
It didn’t take long for Elder Blake to bring these people in. Magic Lord Clint saw the long queue. His eyes flashed with envy. He can tell that business is booming and the shop is making a lot of money.
If this business continues like this, the Silver Tower will gain even more influence. Clint showed malicious intent.
Wade and Cody behind him were no better; they were feeling jealous as well. Then they reached the main entrance.
They walked into the room. Elder Blake was walking side by side with them. The members saw the newcomers and went to greet Elder Blake.
“Elder, it’s nice to see you here again,” Hank said.
“Mr. Hank, take me to Wizard Vincent,” Blake said. His tone was serious.
Hank nodded and took them to the gallery office room. They could tell that someone was inside. Magic Lord Clint got serious.
The two Supreme Wizards put away their contempt. They were going to meet an important wizard, the rising star of the Silver Tower.
Hank opened the door and walked in. “Master, people have come to see you,” Hank said.
“Okay, let them in,” I replied.
Hank left the room and told the others. Elder Blake brought Elder Clint and the others inside. Magic Lord Clint was annoyed.
He said, “We want to have a private meeting with Wizard Vincent.”
“I cannot allow that. The Green Elemental Tower has had problems with Wizard Vincent. I’m here for his safety,” Blake said.
Clint got angry. He wanted to provoke Wizard Vincent, but Elder Blake was a stumbling block. Then he took a deep breath and said, “I’m not going to do anything to him. You can wait outside.”
Hearing that, Blake turned toward me. I nodded to him. Then Blake left the room with his officials.
“Elder, please take a seat,” I said to them.
Clint collected his thoughts. He signaled to Wade and Cody, and they sat opposite me. Clint didn’t know what to say at first.
He had come here with the task of provoking Vincent Carey. Once Vincent was provoked, he would act out. If he took action against a Magic Lord, Clint could then retaliate.
“I didn’t expect you to return so soon. You were hiding like a rat earlier,” Clint said with a wide grin. He didn’t hide his evil intentions. The two Supreme Wizards behind him were laughing.
Hearing that, I understood their thoughts immediately. They wanted a reaction from me, but I won’t react. I remained quiet.
Seeing that, Clint got angry. He continued to scold and belittle Vincent Carey.
Elder Blake and the others are watching from outside.
They can see that Elder Clint is talking to Wizard Vincent, but Wizard Vincent is not responding at all. They don’t know whether the conversation is happening peacefully.
At this time, old man Rock comes to the gallery room. He sees Elder Blake and the others.
He finds everyone looking at the office room, but his gaze falls on Otto. Only Otto can bypass obstacles and hear everything. Right now, Otto’s face does not look good.
Old man Rock understands that something is happening inside. The Elder who came was causing problems.
Patrick and Hank saw the reaction as well, but they didn’t want to ask about it in front of Elder Blake and the other officials.
