Chapter 1591: Part 2: Red Contract Artifact

From MC’s Perspective:

I’m watching the changes outside. I’m sure that white masked man will inspect the red scroll.

Outside,

The masked man walked up to the red scroll and picked it up. At first sight, he thought it’s a magic artifact.

His eyes flashed with greed. For a second, he forgot about the young man. He then poured his mana into it.

The Red Scroll’s magic power ignited. A crimson light shot from it. The masked man was taken aback. The crimson light struck his mana core.

His expression changes drastically. His face contorted in pain. As the chain of magic characters began to bound his mana core.

He couldn’t even move his fingers at this point.

Swoosh!

I appeared outside and saw the condition of the masked man. I took the red scroll Artifact from his hand. Then I stored the red scroll inside the system space.

“Phew!”

Then only I breathed a sigh of relief. The system told me that it’s a damaged artifact. Currently, it can subdue the Supreme Wizard.

But I think in the future it can handle the Magic Lords and the Forbidden Wizards. The system results came.

After reading that information, my heart stirred. The masked mana’s mana core was now bound by the magic characters.

The magic character chain is the power of Red Scroll. I don’t know how many wizards can be controlled. But I’m not interested in experiments at this point.

All I wanted was to take control of the masked man in front of me.

A few minutes later,

The Masked Man was under complete control of the magic artifact. He then looks at the person in front of him. The red scroll appears in his mind, not the wizard.

He understood that the young man was the owner of the magic artifact. The crimson magic characters chain acted. A compulsion appeared in his mind.

“Master,” he said.

Hearing that, I was shocked. I was worried about some changes. But he seems to be under complete control.

To be on the safe side, I asked the system again. The system results made me relax. This guy was completely under the control of the red scroll curse.

He can’t disobey my command.

As long as I don’t die, the owner of the Red Scroll won’t change. A big smile appeared on my face. I was worried about entering Clover Heart City.

Now that I got his guy. I can collect information.

“Remove your mask and tell me about yourself,” I asked.

The masked man was stunned. A look of understanding dawned on his face. He was wondering why there was no sign of the young man before.

He fell into his trap. Now he lost control of the mana core. It was bound by chains of the magic artifact.

As he thinks about the rebellion. The red magic characters chain which bound his mana core ignited.

The next second, he let out a terrifying scream. He is experiencing immense pain. He understood that he can’t have such rebellious thoughts.

“Master, my name is Patrick. I’m the boss of Midnight Bandit Group. I have 12 level-9 Wizards and more than 20 level-8 Wizards under my command,” Patrick said.

After saying that he removed his mask and showed his old wrinkled face.

Hearing that, I was impressed. Then I thought of something important. My eyes flashed with seriousness.

“Did you attack that passenger airship?” I asked.

“Yes, master. We targeted and attacked them,” Patrick replied.

“Go and bring your men to somewhere safe. Then I want you to get here right after that,” I said to him.

Swoosh!

Hearing that Patrick left. My eyes flickered. There is no problem with his thinking. He seems to be alright. It’s just the magic artifact that is making him obey my command.

After I figured it out, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion.

Meanwhile,

The Supreme Wizard Patrick returned to the black airship. The Level-9 and Level-8 Wizards greeted him on the ship.

They were worried that their boss could be attacked and injured. But seeing him returning unscathed. They all sighed in relief.

The Level-9 Wizards looked at each other. They were worried for nothing. Earlier, some of them wanted to follow the boss.

But there was no need for that. Their boss is safe and fine. While everyone is looking at him, feeling relieved.

Patrick was fuming with anger. He doesn’t know how to express his anger. If he does something here, then his image would be ruined.

He doesn’t want to tell his bandit members. Until he finds some solution. But he can’t do anything. He has fallen into the trap. Unless someone kills that young man. He won’t be free.

Aaahhh!

The crimson chain acted the next second. He felt heart wrenching pain. He just had this idea. Yet the curse power acted.

“Boss!”

“Boss, what happened?”

“Boss, did someone attack you!”

The bandit members asked one after another. They are worried that their boss is under some kind of attack.

They have seen many magic spell attacks before. The Level-9 Wizards rushed to his side. They have all quickly surrounded him.

It took him a few minutes to recover. He then realised what happened here.

He looks at his members. Then he said,”Get ready, we should leave this place.”

Hearing that members were dumbfounded again. One minute the boss was screaming. Now he is acting fine.

Then they started to get ready. It’s been some time since they attacked the passenger airship here. The corpses were scattered everywhere.

Before anyone could find them they needed to leave this place. If not for the young man, the bandit group vacated long ago.

It took them 10 minutes to leave on the black airship. Everyone was on board. The Supreme Wizard Patrick is taking them back to the hideout.

Later, he will have to meet the young man again. He sighed. He didn’t want to experience the terrible pain again. So he removed the negative thoughts regarding the young man.

Time goes by,

The Black airship crosses many miles before reaching their hideout. On the way, he was quiet and didn’t speak one word to the members.
