Chapter 1589: Coward Bandit leader!

A 2 days later,

I appeared outside at midnight. I’m sure the chaos must have been settled down. Then I started looking around me.

Right now, I’m standing in the middle of the wilderness. Then I turned towards the east side. My eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

I got a few magazines from that travel agent’s office that day. I have read those magazines already. I know the Clover Heart City located in the eastern direction.

There are no other cities in between the Great Bamboo City and the Clover Heart City in this direction. As long as I travel in this direction.

I can reach Clover Heart City in a couple of days.

After gaining some clarity in my thoughts. I brought the Black Raven Aircraft outside. Then I entered the aircraft and turned on the stealth mode.

Shortly afterwards,

After putting the aircraft in auto pilot mode, I appeared in the cabin. Then I sat in my seat and started watching the outside scene.

The aircraft slowly rose from the ground and appeared in mid air. Then I started moving in the eastern direction.

Time went by,

I’m enjoying the passing scenes through the window. The semi-desert area is stretching endlessly. I think I might reach the destination at the end of this unique terrain.

When the night time comes. I didn’t stop the aircraft. Rather I let it continue to fly. I have already wasted some time in the Disordered Land.

I have this feeling that my mission will be ended once I disrupt Clover Heart City.

Time goes by,

At night, I got bored.

I decided to do something useful. I took the contract artifact outside. Then I used the system probe function on it.

I already knew it’s a Damaged Artifact. If I could repair it, it would be useful. The system results came disappointing. The Artifact needs some relics to repair it. The system can’t do the repair.

I need to find someone who could do it. I may not find one here. But everything is possible back in the Magic City.

I could ask the old man Martin for help. Then I collected my thoughts and placed the Artifact inside the system space.

Then I turned my attention to the outside. It has been quiet without any disturbance. The vast area of the Disordered Land are empty plains without any habitat.

Instead of developing the place, the forces here are using the plains as the battlefield.

An hour later,

I was about to reset. I noticed a remote, crimson glow. I don’t know what it is. It raised my curiosity. In the dark night, it’s only one which is giving light.

I wonder whether anyone is staying in that place. The red glow was exactly located on his way. Things will become clear once he gets closer.

About 20 minutes later,

The aircraft reaches the place. The red glow becomes clear. I’m looking at the outside scene from the window.

I saw a crashed airship. Flames and bellowing smokes are rising from the crashed airship. His gaze shifted. Then he saw there were corpses scattered across the place.

The Black Raven continued to fly. I don’t know what happened here. The airship could have met with an accident.

Then I looked ahead. I saw a massive black airship blocking the path. The black airship is ten times larger than the black raven aircraft.

Noise!

A big noise is coming from the airship. It shows that there are people inside the aircraft.

Seeing that I immediately went to the side of the cockpit. Then I slowed down and tried to change direction.

I’m feeling something wrong with the big black airship. I hope they won’t discover the stealth mode.

“Who’s there?”

The next second, I heard a loud voice. Hearing that my expression changes drastically. Without thinking further, I exited the aircraft.

Then I put the whole aircraft inside the system space while the stealth mode was being activated. Before I could go inside the Gregor Mansion.

Swoosh!

A few figures appeared before me. They are dressed in black clothes. They have covered their faces in white masks.

[Ding! Warning!]

[One of them is the Supreme Wizard. Rest of them are level-8 and level-9 Wizards.]

The system voice sounded in my mind. My breathing has become faster. I became serious.

There are 6 people standing outside. The rest of them were on the airship. The noise stopped suddenly.

Several heads popped up from the airship. They are looking outside.

A person from the middle stepped forward. He sizes up the young person in front of him. At first, he thought of killing the survivor.

But then he found out that he couldn’t see through the survivor. Some old Supremes have a young appearance.

So he is being cautious.

“Who are you?” He asked.

On the other hand, I heard a cold male voice. I used the system probe function on him and confirmed that he is the Supreme Wizard.

I need some time to take out the mana core eating artifact. But if the Supreme Wizard attacks me before that. Then no one can save me.

I quickly thought of a solution.

Swoosh!

I maintained a cold expression on my face. Then I started moving towards the Airship.

Gasp!

Seeing my actions, the wizards exclaimed.

“Who is he?”

“What is he doing?”

“Quiet!”

“He could be the supreme wizard!”

The wizards standing behind Supreme discussed. At this point, they understood why their leader didn’t say anything.

Meanwhile,

I landed on the airship and began to scan the place using the system. I found out that these people are thieves.

It appears they rob anyone who traveled in this endless plains. Since they have the Supreme Wizard as their leader.

Hardly anyone could escape from the grasps. Unless they are from the big forces. Like the White and Dark Faction.

Unfortunately, the rest of them can be discarded. My gaze fell on the scattered corpses.

“Sigh!”

A sigh escaped from my mouth. If it was earlier, I would be afraid of the Supreme Wizard. But right now I have got a trump card.

The next second, I found someone coming from behind. It’s the same Supreme Wizard.

“Who are you?”

“If you don’t disclose your identity, then I’ll use force against you,” The person said.

Hearing that my eyes turned cold. There are more than 20 wizards in the airship. The others are between level-8 and level-9 Wizards.

My magic spell was enough to take care of them. But I need to take care of the Supreme Wizard first.

“Can we go somewhere else and talk?”

“My spell attacks will destroy the place along with your members,” I said to him.

The Supreme Wizard was taken aback. Then he understood that he was right. The young person could be the Supreme Wizard.

He glanced at his man. He realises that if they fought here, then his men could become scapegoats.

He then nodded his head.

“Let’s go,” he said.

Hearing that I sighed inwardly. Then I started flying towards the remote location. The white masked Supreme followed next.

The wizards gathered in the Airship are dumbfounded. Everyone believes that young looking person was a Supreme Wizard.

On the other hand, their leader is very old. What if? He gets killed in the end. Then who will take care of their Midnight Bandit Group.

The Level-9 Supreme Wizards wanted to follow. But they are afraid that the aftermath of the spell attack might hit them.

They knew that the Supreme Wizard Magic Spell is filled with magic rules. They have the risk of death as well.

So no one went there.

Meanwhile,

I continued to fly until I spotted a big open land not far away from here. Then I glanced at the person following me.

Seeing that there is a distance between them. His eyes flashes with a glint. He then takes out the mana core eating artifact from the system space.

I looked at the mirror artifact in my hand. I felt a sense of crisis looking into the mirror. I don’t know when the suppressed power will erupt from the mirror.

On the other hand, the white masked Supreme is paying attention to the young man before him. He is hoping to avoid the confrontation.

He is a bit old. There are chances for him to lose the battle. What more? He still doesn’t know the identity of the Supreme Wizard.

If he happens to be from the Dark Faction or White Faction, he won’t fight him.

Shortly afterwards,

I came to the open land. Then I landed on the ground.

The White Mask Man came to the spot a few seconds later. He landed on the ground and looked at the young man.

His gaze fell on the mirror in his hands the next second. As the White Masked Supreme Wizard’s gaze locked into the mirror. He felt a terrible sense of crisis.

He understood the mirror is not ordinary but a magic artifact. Not only that he thinks that he has kicked an iron plate. The young man could be someone with a background.

But he is a bandit group leader.
