Chapter 1572: Exiting the mountain range!

From MC’s Perspective:

The Mercenary Wizards left the Merchant Association. Not long after, they left. The Head Marcel told others to keep an eye on the mountain range.

He told others to temporarily disable the formation to lure out the killer.

He was sure that Dark Faction won’t let it go. He has to come up with other plans. He was sure that the Mercenary and Medicine Association would help them.

But there is no free lunch in this world. He wanted to solve the problem by himself.

Meanwhile,

Hidden killers dispatched by the White Faction are on their way to the Merchant Association. Once the Merchant Association allowed the free movements of the people.

They are going to face even more bloody tragedy.

On the other hand, I left the second mountain. I found out about the secret path from the locals. But the path was filled with danger.

There is no proper road. But the path leads directly to the outside world from the mountain range. Then I started to travel on this path.

Don’t know why? The officials have stopped their investigation. But there are people stationed at important points.

Fortunately, the path that I’m traveling on had no one to monitor. Because of it I’m moving on this path without problem.

Time passed,

The evening time comes. There is dense green vegetation on both sides of the path. The vegetation was not ordinary.

It was full of wet leaves, tangled vines and spiky roots. The path is like a sandy trail filled with uneven stones.

If someone gets trapped, it’s difficult for them to escape. I suspect among the plants there exist monster type plants as well.

Since the day light has gone, I suspect I could encounter plant type monsters. But so far the system said nothing.

So I continued to walk on this path.

Time goes by,

In the middle of the night, I found that the path ahead was covered in plant weeds.

I paused my footsteps to take a look.

The mechanical voice sounded in my mind. My mouth curves into an arc. No wonder, no one uses this path.

This path is a graveyard for locals. Apart from the high level wizards no one can use this path.

Several thick dark roots darted out shooting towards me.

Seeing that I told the system to remove the ban. Once the plant monster senses the danger, it will move away.

Just as the roots are about to pierce through my body. They stopped. My eyes flashed with a twinkle.

Next, the dark roots backed away within seconds.

On the other hand, the plant monster did sense danger from the target. So it didn’t target further.

Seeing that path was cleared. I continued walking. There is a reason I avoided the fight. I didn’t want to use the magic spell.

There are people looking for my traces. The Gravity magic spell could expose me. Then I told the system to cover my strength.

Time flew by,

The next morning. I reached the foot of the mountain. There is no one to guard the entrance on this side. Because the entrance was taken over by the forest.

What was more surprising? There is no formation. After system probing, I was convinced that there is no formation covering the place.

I used the flight ability to come out of the green forest. When I stepped on the land outside. I sighed in relief. I had done something incredible.

Unfortunately, I can’t tell anyone. Then I turned around and looked at the vast land ahead. The vast empty land stretches for miles.

From the locals, I learned that the nearest big city is one of the big cities of the Dark Faction. That City is one of the resource lands. It’s called Nova Stead.

Nova Stead has a Super Grade Mine. It’s one of the financial resources for the Dark Faction. My mission is to reduce their strength.

I could start the mission from this city.

Then I found the direction and started moving away from the place.

An hour later,

I brought the Black Raven Aircraft outside. Nova Stead is the nearest big city. But still the distance is more than a hundred miles.

I can reach the destination faster with aircraft.

Swoosh!

A few minutes later, the aircraft started leaving. It’s one the Auto pilot mode. I’m resting in the cabin. If there is any movement ahead, it will be shown on the display screen.

One hour later,

Warning!

I heard the warning signals. I immediately turned on the stealth mode. Next, changes took place. The aircraft becomes invisible to others.

Then I saw an aircraft coming in my direction. Except the Merchant Association, there is no other habitat in the surroundings.

So the aircraft is going towards the Merchant Association. It was announced that no one could enter the mountain range.

The news should have reached the Disordered Land. How come anyone is going to the Merchant Association this time?

“Dark Faction,” I uttered.

It’s highly possible. If it’s a dark faction then I should eliminate them here. A cold glint appeared in my eyes.

Then I appeared outside and put the aircraft into my system space. I descended on the ground the next moment.

I landed on the ground. It’s a semi-dry vast land. There is no one nearby. So I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion to observe them.

I’m sure that must have spotted my aircraft as well. If I’m not wrong they will definitely stop here to observe the place.

On the other hand, a giant aircraft is nearing the place. The pilot and others knew that there was an unknown Aircraft moving in their path.

When they got closer. They found that the aircraft was nowhere to be seen. It’s not showing on their display screen either.

The pilot was scared. He thinks they came across a powerful wizard. But the wizards inside the cabin are not afraid.

“What are you afraid of?”

“Magic Lords are coming behind us. Our job is to infiltrate the mountain range.”

The wizards shouted.

The pilot then sighed in relief and continued his work.
