Underground basement,
After going through many container boxes, it was the turn of the main container. It’s the container that had the puppetry magic items inside.
The female staff member opened the container in front of him. Her expression was dull. She has opened more than 50 containers.
But the guest in front of her didn’t select one. She is starting to suspect whether the guest knows appraisal knowledge.
I started to go through the container. I don’t know what kind of puppetry stuff is inside. But I only found black rock and a few broken puppet parts inside.
“System, what is this?” I asked the system in my mind.

Finally, I got something in the end. Then I looked at the female staff and told her that I’m selecting this container.
The female staff were surprised. She didn’t see what was inside. She felt it would be rude to ask the guest.

The Female staff went to the manager’s office to meet her. The female manager was inside her office. She was doing some other work.
But upon seeing the female staff. She remembered the guest was selecting the unknown items.
She then asked the female staff about what had happened.
The female staff member reported to her.
After knowing that the guest had selected something, the Manager became curious.
“Let’s see what he has picked,” After saying that she stood up from the seat and left with the female manager.
Soon, they came to the underground basement.
On the other hand, I saw both of them coming. The female manager didn’t speak. She came directly towards the container box.
She then looks at the item inside. She ignored the huge rock. But her gaze fell on the broken parts of the puppets.
She recognises the puppet items as well. Her eyes gleamed with a twinkle. She didn’t expect the puppet parts to be inside.
She realises that these were broken parts, not the intact ones. So the value is not higher. But she won’t sell it for a cheap price.
“Did you want this?” She asked.
Hearing that I nodded to her.
“We don’t have appraisers here. But I can tell that these are Puppet items. It’s related to puppet magic.”
“Puppet Inheritances are considered important. I hope you have enough money to buy it,” The female manager said.
Hearing that my heart skips a beat. I didn’t expect her to notice it. Then I realised something. She was only looking at the puppet parts but not at the huge black rock.
A good idea comes to my mind.
I asked her, “What’s the price?”
The female manager smiled and said, “1000 mid-grade mana stones.”
I was dumbfounded. I thought she would quote at 100. But she is asking for 1000. Then I shook my head and said, “I’m not buying it.”
The smile on the female manager’s face disappeared.
“There is a reason behind the price. If you pay 1000 mid-grade mana stones, then it will match the quota for spending. Then you can leave the city,” She said in a serious tone.
My heart turned cold. I was wondering why such an expensive price. There is a spending quota behind it. Even if I didn’t buy this item, I would have to spend such money outside.
But the problem is I need this item. The black rock has something special. Then I nodded to her.
The Female manager smiled again.
“Come with me,” she said, and after saying that, she turned around to leave.
The female staff came to pick up the container. She then started following the female manager. Then I followed them from behind.
Soon, we reached the manager’s office. The female manager went to her chair to sit. She then opens her drawer.
She then picks up some candies to eat. She then tossed one of them towards me. Seeing that I caught it and swallowed it in one go.
The next second, I felt the worst taste in my mouth.
“What is this?” I asked her.
The female manager smiled and said, “It’s good stuff. It keeps you active all day.”
Hearing that my heart skips a beat. I immediately thought of the status panel. What if it has a drug to make me unconscious?
