Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

“I hope you will learn something from this demonstration. Let’s return now.” After saying that, Martin grabbed Vincent Carey’s shoulder and started going back towards the Magic City.

Before too long, they both returned to the Magic City. They landed in front of the bookstore.

I felt my feet touch the ground. I opened my eyes and looked at the old man in disbelief.

“Is he a Magic Lord or a Forbidden Wizard?” I thought.

Then I thanked the old man once again.

“How many times are you going to thank me?” Martin said before opening the door to enter.

“Come back after defeating the Doyle Family kid,” he said without turning back.

I revealed a small smile on my face. Then I turned around to leave. We started going back to the central plaza. There were people going about their business.

I was also keeping an eye on the surroundings. I didn’t want to experience the same accident again. I thought it would be a matter of time before the Forbidden Wizard Remi learned the truth.

After coming to the central plaza, I found a cab. Then I talked to the driver before getting inside. I sat in the back seat.

Buzz!

Right after, the driver started driving the cab towards the Silver Tower.

The Magic Arena Manager Garrett had fixed the duel date. It’s two days from now. He thought that two days would be enough for ticket sales.

Everyone already knew about Peter Doyle’s challenge. Once the online bookings were opened, everyone would buy the tickets in record time.

Then he called and informed the Doyle Family. They were satisfied with the dates; for them, the dates didn’t matter. From the beginning, they wanted the duel to take place.

Since it’s happening, they immediately agreed.

Next, the manager called and informed Manager Lara. She then reported to Lord Charlotte before asking for permission. When Charlotte gave the green signal, Lara called back and informed Manager Garrett.

Manager Garrett was beaming with happiness. He quickly informed the staff to get ready for ticket sales and arena arrangements.

When it comes to the duel between the wizard seeds, safety measures are important.

Silver Tower:

After returning to the Silver Tower, I went to my room.

Shortly afterwards, I learned about the duel date. Manager Lara briefed me about everything. Since Lord Charlotte gave permission, I didn’t have a problem fighting on that particular date.

But my mind was fixed on something else. I didn’t know whether it was okay to tell Lord Charlotte about Forbidden Wizard Remi.

He had already tried to harm me after the previous duel challenge match. Then he attacked me outside the Silver Tower.

If he knows I’m alive, then he would definitely attack me. My brain sprang into action. If I wanted to be safe, then I needed a trump card.

Suddenly, I thought of the magic scroll I found during the appraisal work in the underground storage room.

According to the system, the magic scroll contains a wisp of forbidden magic. I don’t know whether it could be useful in hurting the Forbidden Wizard Remi.

I don’t know why, but another absurd idea came to mind. There are many antique shops in the Magic City. If I could find a similar magic scroll containing forbidden magic, then it would be immensely helpful.

“This plan is good,” I said to myself.

Then I started going through the list of antique shops in the Magic City.

Black Tower:

Tom Doyle learned the news from his family. His mouth curved into an arc. He thought that his cousin would do better than him.

But still, he didn’t know whether Vincent Carey had shown his full strength before. He decided to tell his cousin to be careful.

He had personally faced Gravity Magic. He knew how dangerous it was. His physique was under pressure before he could blink his eyes.

So he dared not to underestimate Vincent Carey from that day onward. Even the other wizard seeds in the Black Tower were disappointed in him.

But he had challenged them to face Vincent Carey before slandering him.

Other than that, he faced cold glares from the manager and other staff. Even the Forbidden Wizard above him didn’t bother to call him.

He knew if not for his family behind him, the higher-ups would have taken action against him.

Now that his cousin had challenged Vincent Carey, the higher-ups probably forgot about the previous duels. Now everyone was looking forward to the next challenge duel.

Tom Doyle was happy about the fact that the Wind Elemental Tower was involved in this duel. Even if Silver Tower wanted to do something, they couldn’t go against the Black and Wind Elemental Towers at the same time.

Forbidden Remi was taken aback when he received the news. He was clear that Vincent Carey had exploded along with that car. Then how could he possibly be alive?

For a second, he didn’t know what was going on. Then he quickly left the tower and went to inspect the accident site. He was sure that his puppet had sacrificed himself.

If any wizard explodes, the mana core destruction is large. It would leave a huge impact. It’s impossible for nearby wizards to survive.

Shortly afterwards, he came to the accident site and began to inspect it. He spent more than an hour looking for clues but found nothing.

Remi’s eyes turned ice cold. He thought that Vincent Carey had a trump card to escape.

“It must be Forbidden Wizard Charlotte. It’s her,” Remi said in a cold tone.

He should have expected it. Instead, he was complacent. Now he believed the wizard seed Vincent Carey must have been alerted.

He won’t easily leave the Silver Tower next time. If that kid informs Charlotte and the other Forbidden Wizards of the Silver Tower, then they would definitely react.
