Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Silver Tower,

As we were listening to Lord Sharon’s advice, a middle-aged woman made an entrance. She was wearing red mage cloth.

“I pay respect to Lord Sharon,” the middle-aged woman said.

Hearing that, Sharon Lee smiled and replied, “Ms. Lara, you have come here on time.”

“He is Vincent Carey. He has joined as a Sub-Taboo Wizard Seed in your faction,” she added.

Hearing that, Lara replied, “Don’t worry, Lord Sharon. I’ll guide the young man.”

“Good.” After saying that, Sharon Lee stood up from the sofa.

She then turned towards Vincent and said, “Young man, it’s time for us to leave. You already have my disciple’s contact. If you need help, you can contact her.”

“If there are any issues, she will tell me,” she added.

I stood up and thanked her. It was Lord Sharon Lee who made my dream possible. Otherwise, I don’t know how long it would have taken me to get here.

“They say if you meet the right person, your journey will be smoother,” I said in my heart.

“Good!”

“Palma, it’s time for us to leave,” Sharon said to her disciple.

“Okay, master. Vincent, don’t forget to text me from time to time,” Palma Wonders said.

Hearing that, I nodded to her. Then, under my gaze, they left the Silver Tower. Now, only Lara and I were here.

Ms. Lara then turned towards me. She was looking at me from top to bottom but not probing me.

“Lord Charlotte has already filled me in. My name is Lara. I’m a Magic Lord. I’m the manager of the Silver Tower,” Lara said.

Hearing that, my heart set off storms. What? A Magic Lord is working as a manager here. In any country, Magic Lords are beings to be revered.

Even back at the True Elements Society, the head of the organization was a Magic Lord. It was because of the threat posed by a Magic Lord that I was forced to leave the organization to save my life.

But here, they are not so famous, because there is already the existence of the Forbidden Wizard above them.

I gulped down my saliva.

Magic Lord Lara was not surprised by the young man’s reaction. People who are not from the Mage City or big organizations have this reaction.

“Come with me. I’ll guide you to your accommodation,” she said.

Hearing that, I nodded to her and started following her.

She was walking upstairs. While walking, she decided to tell the young man about the do’s and don’ts.

“Young man, your name is Vincent Carey, right?” she asked without turning back.

Hearing that, I knew she was up to striking a conversation with me. I wanted to know more about this place.

“Yes,” I replied, while following her.

“Vincent, I’m going to tell you some important information about our faction. Even Lord Sharon didn’t know about it. But Lord Charlotte gave the permission since you are a member.”

Hearing that, my heart skipped a beat. Somehow, I felt it was not good news.

“Our Silver Tower represents the Sub-Taboo Faction. Similarly, there are other factions that have Magic Towers. You may have seen them on your way.”

“The Magic City is actually a place of survival. Since you are not an official member yet, I can’t give you the core details. But let me tell you, you can’t slack off here.”

“There is severe competition between the various factions. Our faction stands strong because of the Sub-Taboo Wizards. You are a new addition here.”

“So, it’s your responsibility in the future to contribute to our faction. Don’t think Wizard Seeds don’t have to think about it. You are not the only one accepted by a Wizard Faction as a seed.”

“Other factions in this Mage City have their Wizard Seeds. If other factions learn about you, then they will send their Wizard Seeds to test you.”

“Why? Because our Sub-Taboo Faction is one of the powerful factions here. If they manage to defeat you, they will gain a lot of face.” After saying that, Lara turned around to look at the young man.

My heart raced. I thought a Wizard Seed could have a peaceful time to practice. It looks like I’m not going to have a peaceful time.

Then I found her gaze on me.

I said, “Don’t worry, Lord Lara. I’ll be careful.”

Lara nodded in relief and said, “I heard you have a conflict with Meteor Supreme. Don’t worry about him. As long as I’m in the Silver Tower, he won’t create a problem.”

“But try to avoid going outside until you become a level-9 Wizard. Once you become an official member, it will be difficult for him to cause problems,” she added.

“I’ll be careful,” I replied.

“Good,” she said before resuming her walk.

We had already reached the 4th floor. I didn’t know where my accommodation would be.

We came to the 8th floor. She stopped moving forward and turned around.

“The 8th floor is for the Sub-Taboo Wizard Seeds. You are not the only Wizard Seed here. There are others in our faction as well.”

“But all of them have backgrounds. Their families are connected to the Mage City. When it comes to background, you are the outlier.”

“When you meet them, don’t expect them to be nice. Their bones are filled with pride. They look down on foreign Wizards,” she said.

Hearing that, I twitched. My social life was going to be over.

Lara then took out a new storage bracelet. It was silver in color with an exquisite design.

“Here, take this bracelet. It has a set of magic robes and other items,” she said before giving it to me.

I accepted the storage bracelet.

“Take your badge and scan this room in front of you,” she said.

Hearing that, I held the new storage bracelet in my left hand. Then I took the badge out and showed it in front of the door.

I didn’t know what was going to happen.

The next second, a beam of light shot from the door and scanned my badge.

“It’s a magic door created by a Forbidden Wizard,” Lara’s voice reached my ears.
