The following day,
After getting out of bed, I began the morning routine. When I finished with that. I appeared in the Hall and sat cross-legged on the ground to meditate.
About 2 hours later,
I opened my eyes to check out the status panel. But to my shock, nothing has changed. The Core progression and the power stats remain the same.
But I have felt the absorption of gravity mana particles by the mana core. According to my current talent, I should experience fast growth.
“What is going on?” I asked myself.
Then I thought of accessing the inheritance notes left by the Gravity Ancestor in mind. I closed my eyes and began to look into it.
I quickly found the related information. When I started to go through it. I came to realize that things are not that simple.
The Magic Level 6 and above levels are difficult for Wizard to break through. Even with Superior talent, it would take time for a wizard to progress.
After knowing that I sighed inwardly. Because the mana core and power stats are the least of the problems. The really important thing to be taken care of is Rule Power.
Then, I removed these thoughts from my mind. Since my talent is now Elite Grade. It’s not worse than the Supreme Grade. There are a few small talent grades between.
But I think there would not be too much difference. I will meditate every day to find the pattern. Then I can access the Elite Grade talent of mine.
I stood up and went to take a bath. The cold bath lasted for 20 minutes. Then I changed into a fresh mage uniform. After getting ready, I appeared back in my room.
Elder Paul gave me time to break through first. But he didn’t know my actual Magic Level. If I go and meet him right now, he would be surprised.
After making up my mind, I left the dorm room and started walking towards the Special Mage Department.
Not long after, I found a few people blocking the path. Noticing that, I understood that trouble had come. But I started to look for other ways to go around.
Ignoring them, I changed direction and started walking on a different path. Walking by this path might take a longer time. As it covers a few other buildings before connecting to the Special Mage Department.

The Mechanical voice sounded in my mind. My eyes flash with a cold glint.
“Hey, coward!”
“Why are you running away?”
“Stop and face us!”
“The Special Mage Department has accepted a loser.”
“Idiot”

I’m hearing various mocking comments from behind. But for some reason, none of them are taking any action or casting magic spells.
My eyes flickered with a surprise glint. I think they are afraid of breaking the rules. After all, I’m a member of the Special Mage Department right now.
I ignored them and continued walking.
Meanwhile, the Wizards took pictures of the newcomer’s back and started posting them online. It didn’t take a few seconds for the people online to notice it.
They are wizards from other Mage Departments.

So they immediately found out the identity of the newcomer. Wizards who were already jealous and had resentment against the Special Mage Department started posting hateful comments.
A few minutes later,
I came to the staircases connecting to the floating Special Mage Department building. I started walking on it. I don’t know whether Elder Paul is available or not.
After quickly walking forward, I reached the Main Door. Then I showed a digital ID to enter inside.

The door opens, and I walk inside. Instead of going to the conference hall. I remember the directions to Elder Paul’s office.
Then I started walking towards it. On the way, I came across wizards. Their eyes lingered on me for a moment before they shifted their gazes.
I ignored all these and continued walking. When I reached the place. I noticed Elder Paul was speaking to someone.
Paul Lin immediately felt someone was looking at him. When he turns back. He spotted Vincent Carey.
“What are you doing here?”
“Did you break through?” He asked.
“Yes,” I replied.
“Harumph, what kind of breakthrough?”
“It’s just level-6. It’s still weak magic level,” A middle-aged man with brown hair and eyes mocked.
“Elder Niklaus, this is not something that concerns you,” Paul Lin said in a serious tone.
Hearing that, Elder Niklaus’s mouth twitches. He doesn’t want to get on the bad side of Paul Lin. Paul Lin has more say in the Special Mage Department than him.
Niklaus cast a disdainful glance at the new kid before leaving.
On the other hand, I have already marked this person on my target list. He will sooner or later end up dead in my hands.

Hearing that I said nothing.

“Let’s go; I will show you your class. There are 19 other newcomers besides you. You all are in the freshmen class. There are four years of study here.”
“After graduation, you can leave the academy and focus on your career,” Paul Lin explains while leading the freshman class.
I’m listening to his words. But I’m not impressed with four years of study. It’s a waste of time. I have already got this immense knowledge in mind waiting to digest.
It’s many times better than the four years of study here.
“What are you thinking?” Paul Lin asked, turning around to take a look.
He noticed that Vincent Carey was not paying attention.
“Elder, is there a way to graduate earlier?” I asked.
Paul Lin shakes his head before saying, “If you want to graduate earlier, then you must reach the Magic Level-10.”
“Supreme Wizard,” I uttered in disbelief.
I know how difficult it was for me to reach Magic Level 7. It happened only after finding the Super Special Magic Relic.
Especially, there is a big task of understanding the ruling power.
I looked at him and asked, “Has anyone before me done it?”
Paul nodded and replied, “It’s not an impossible task. Many people have done that. For example, the All Magic Palace Masters have graduated from their respective Mage Department one or two years earlier.”
My heart set off storms. I learnt about the existence of the Magic Palace from the Elder Darcie. So I knew they were formidable. But I didn’t expect them to be this powerful and talented as freshers.

“Maybe he wants to graduate earlier to join the Mage Union,” He said in his heart. It seems logical to him. But he didn’t know about Vincent Carey’s profile information.
According to what he had learnt from certain council elders Vincent Carey’s profile information was kept confidential. Only the Head of the Organisation knows about it.
“Alright, we should go now. People must be waiting for you,” Paul Lin said.
Hearing that I recovered my thoughts and nodded to him.
Soon, we arrived at a different hall. Paul opened the door and walked inside.
Seeing that I followed him from behind to enter the room.
“You can take your seat where you want,” Paul said.
Hearing that, I swept my gaze across the other 19 people. Male and Female Wizards. But none of their eyes were kind-looking.
I’m a bit surprised. Because I’m sure that this is our first meeting. Then I shook my head before heading towards the last row of seats where no one was there.
The freshman class has a small number. Which shows how difficult it is to join the Special Mage Department.
After taking the seat, I turned to look at Elder Paul.
“Alright, since everyone has come. I’ll tell you a few things.”
“All 20 of you are now part of a freshman class of our Special Mage Department. Unlike other Mage Departments, the Wizards in our Department each have different magic powers.”
