God's Eyes

Chapter 707: They're here

Chapter 707: They’re here

The pressure enveloping both Jennifer and Jason had increased substantially.

Apparently, Jennifer had also entered the fourth trial only a week before he did, which was interesting.

As such, he had been much faster than expected, giving them one, possibly two more weeks until the others would arrive.

However, this calculation was slightly off because the worst-case scenario Jason had imagined, truly happened.

To their great misfortune, the four Preactors had been thrown into the exact same trials with each other by their side. This gave them the chance to fight much stronger opponents owing to their numerical advantage.

Because of that, their first trial had been a joke, and the second trial was something they quickly got the hang of as well.

They weren’t as fast as Jason had been, but still faster than Jennifer, who had to comprehend the essence of the maze all by herself.

Yet, what took the four Preactors the longest was to reveal all of their hidden cards.

Apparently, they hadn’t wanted to disclose everything, and the four of them forgot a simple, yet strong point about themselves, which they didn’t show either- their Wrath.

Under normal circumstances, wrath was an extremely bad trait to possess.

However, that was not exactly the case for the Preactors, who were strengthened the more they released their accumulated wrath.

This was extremely terrifying, and one of the most basic traits Preactors had, but in their haste to complete the trials as quickly as possible they forgot to showcase it to the Inheritance site.

Thus, it took them several days before they passed the third trial, only to emerge in the fourth trial, a few days after Jason had.

Without the delay, they would have finished everything before Jason’s time, but the two young halflings’ fortune was simply too great in this regard.

Jason had already accumulated lots of mana, and hundreds of liquefied mana drops had been gathered within his body.

There were multiple ways to cultivate while being at the Prismar stage.

Either, one gathered mana, liquefied it before compressing it directly, or one waited before compressing the entire required amount of liquefied mana drops.

This was what Jason tried to do, knowing that he couldn’t completely focus on creating the foundation of his second solidified prismarine crystal.

Right now, he had to also focus on his surroundings, and be ready to react the moment the Preactors arrived.

As such, his attention had to be split which was not feasible during the solidifying process of prismarine crystals.

Rather, it would harm him if a mistake were to occur.

Meanwhile, Jennifer was trying to comprehend the pressure of the three energies, as it was something that could help her in the future.

She was extremely interested in it, and only when both felt something weird, they stopped whatever they were doing.

Getting up from the ground, Jason and Jennifer walked towards each other with serious expressions as they nodded their heads.

Both knew that the Preactors were about to arrive, and oddly enough, Jason felt that he knew where exactly they would appear.

Owing to this prediction, he turned to face a particular direction, which Jennifer noticed.

Even she felt a sensation to what Jason suddenly felt, as faint energy currents manifested on the exact spot Jason was eyeing.

‘How did he know?’ Jennifer wondered, but there was no time to ask. As such, she readied herself to fight once she saw the gray skin of the first Preactor that emerged, followed by the other two.

They were exceedingly calm, and looked around confidently, only for their eyes to widen the moment they encountered both Jennifer and Jason.

Not expecting to see someone else in the Inheritance site, they were taken off-guard and Jennifer used the moment to appear in front of them.

Before they had time to know who was in front of them or what was happening, Jennifer lifted her right leg, kicking out at the neck of the closest Preactor, whose reflexes took over his body.

He wished to evade the kick before initiating a counter attack on the young woman who released tremendous energy currents of three intertwined energies and the repulsive darkness and light affinity.

Yet, before he could even take a single step or twist his body, the Preactor saw a bright golden light shining from behind the young woman. Instinctively, his eyes were drawn to Jason, who seemed to devour the oblivious Preactor’s entire being.

The moment Jason realised that all four Preactors were teleported at the same time, and in the same spot, he couldn’t help but smile lightly.

It might have been a one-sided fight had he not sensed anything, but owing to his Emperor Eyes and distinct senses, Jason had foreseen where the teleportation would occur before anyone else.

As such, he didn’t hesitate even for a single moment as he opened all the loose seals that were put on the Celestia bloodline.

Jason didn’t count them, but there had to be over 20 seals that were broken at the same time.

Through this, an enormous amount of energy was released, followed by the remnants of the chaos attribute that had maintained the seals for a long time.

His body began to bulge owing to the energy that swirled through him. Yet, instead of being released outside, it remained inside his body, sweeping through every single cell within him, only to strengthen them.

At that moment, Jason unleashed his Celestia aura that began to flare up, enveloping a huge radius spanning several meters around him.

Following that, his Stigma was fully unleashed even without him actively doing something. Through this, Jason felt how his entire body began to itch due to the ginormous energy waves as he led them towards his eyes.

Inserting every trace of excessive mana, the chaos attribute, and other remnants of whatever had been used to seal his bloodline, Jason’s eyes began to glow in a vibrant golden color.

Yet, the more energy filled his eyes, the higher the pressure he felt became, and he noticed that blood leaked from his eyes.

However, instead of minding this, he simply ignored the pain that began to suddenly spread through his body.

Having released every single seal until his body couldn’t take it anymore, Jason’s strength skyrocketed as his physique was refined over and over again, only for the distinct aura to envelop his entire body.

Through this, Jason looked like a being entirely clad in a golden color with silver, divine streams radiating from him. These streams gathered above his forehead as a faint halo emerged.

At that moment, he released the entire stored energy as he exerted the petrification, and race specific weakening curse, in addition to the abyssal curse that was overflowing with the chaos attribute. All of this was released in one massive attack that ravaged every single being he targeted, affecting them immediately.

Jennifer had only felt the sudden surge of energy behind her, which had shocked her greatly.

However, knowing that it was Jason’s doing, she didn’t mind it.

Yet, the moment she wanted to kick out at the Preactors, a shocking scenario occurred.

…How?…
