Chapter 1036 Soul Armaments
Chapter 1036 Soul Armaments
In the last 500 years, Jason learned many new techniques that were related to blacksmithing and rune inscribing.
As such, he was able to forge the weapons and armor Jennifer wanted to her fullest satisfaction.
Using rare materials that had a high affinity with Souls, Jason told Jennifer to separate a thread of her soul and insert it into the searing hot metals when he had been forging them.
This was rather difficult for someone, who had never even accessed her soul, to begin with.
Thus, it took her quite a few attempts, and luckily Jason’s guidance helped her complete the entire process easily.
While Jason was focused on forging, she had to maintain control over the soul thread, preventing it from being naturally retracted.
Because of that, she began to sweat profusely, while Jason used his own energies in order to redirect Jennifer’s soul thread and move it in a better direction.
Even if he was not the Universe’s best forger, or even close to that, he doubted that anyone else with the same eyesight as him existed.
He was able to see everything, and this allowed Jason to tell the best spots specific connections to be built.
Simultaneously, he could see every little flaw in every single thing, which made things much easier for him, in many ways, at that.
And it was quite astonishing.
The further his cultivation progressed, the better his eyesight became, allowing him to improve further and further.
This made him wonder, if his eyes had a limit of improvement beyond which it would stagnate, to begin with.
It made him excited, which influenced his Celestia aura subtly as it tightly enveloped Jennifer’s weapon, which he was just forging using Solaris’ flames.
Once the forging process was over, the only thing he had to take care of was to inscribe various runes.
Jennifer had already prepared every single inscription potion for this, and Jason immediately started using the inscriber that he had been given by the Two Dwarf Gods.
It was one of the strongest tools of the Gods, but it had been replaced by the inscriber they were using right now.
Their new one was even better, which was something Jason could barely understand.
After all, the inscriber he was just using had a tiny dimensional crystal inside, which stored all inscription solutions inside, allowing Jason to switch between them at will.
Owing to this, he didn’t have to change the inscription solutions actively.
A simple thought was enough to switch between the different inscription solutions, saving lots of important time.
While moving swiftly, Jason inscribed dozens of runes in a single second.
Every single rune was imprinted in his mind, and he didn’t even have to think about them before he was able to inscribe them.
He was fully aware and had a clear idea of the complex combination of runes he wanted to inscribe, and simply did it.
With the completed complex of runes in front of his eyes, everything was even easier.
This made Jennifer feel like she was going to be dizzy to see Jason inscribe thousands of runes on her new swords, in a matter of minutes at that.
Once he was done, Jason used his Celestia aura to dry everything at once, pressing the few unique runes that were right in the center of the entire constellation of runes into the soul thread.
It was only at this moment that Jennifer truly realized that Jason’s plan of creating Soul weapons had worked.
Sensing that a connection between her and the sword in front of her was being built up, her eyes began to gleam brightly.
“Its done!” Jason simply said after he finished his work.
He felt like looking at it for some more time because Jennifer’s sword was, by far, the best weapon he had forged until now.
Even the Soul armaments that he made for himself were incomparable.
But he was not jealous, knowing that he could forge a few new weapons for himself.
Instead, his eyes began to gleam brightly as he saw that the sword he had just forged for Jennifer disappeared from the anvil it had been lying on before.
Jennifer had stored it within her soul, and released it once again.
It was a smooth movement, astonishing Jennifer as well as the whitish-silver sword that manifested in her hand.
“It…worked!!” she exclaimed, only now fully believing that Jason’s idea of creating a soul weapon had worked out after seeing it with her own eyes.
These weapons had numerous advantages, with one of the biggest being that all soul armaments were, in fact, considered extensions of one’s body.
Jason presumed that the God’s Halo could be labeled as something similar as it was not something that should belong to a body, but he could tell that the God’s Halo was a part of him!
This fact was one of the reasons why he was sure that it would be useful to create more soul armaments.
After all, creating a soul armament that was on par with the God’s Halo would be quite a shocker!
With that in mind, he was quite excited, preventing him from staying idle.
“I want to complete your armor, and start working on soul armaments for my soulbonds as well!” Jason said, his eyes shimmering in determination!
That beind said, three weeks flew by in a blur.
Jason had just finished forging the last soul weapon. It were gauntlets for Artemis’ claws that enhanced her gripping force, while additionally having a constellation of runes within that enhanced her ice and moonlight affinity.
She also received a specific hairdress that one couldn’t differentiate from her plumage, enhancing her circulation and suctioning force of the surrounding mana.
There were also a few more soul armaments she received, and the same could be said about the other soulbonds.
Everyone received an entire set of armaments that had been bound to their soul, allowing them to use either of them or all at once whenever they wanted.
Through this, Jason was now sure that all living beings could bind soul armaments to their soul, which made many things much easier for him.
Not only could he enhance his combat prowess exponentially, and Jennifer’s as well, but it had even been possible for him to strengthen his soulbonds a lot!
This was exceptional, and it allowed Jason to feel more reassured about the safety of his soulbonds, even if they were to fight by his side!
Jennifer was also quite impressed by the fact that Artemis, Petri and the other soulbonds received more than 10 soul armaments each.
All of them were super useful, whether it was for enhancing their strength, or their ability to pursue someone, and even to flee from a fight.
With the use of the mana core of beasts that had been proficient in the spatial affinity, Jason replicated the teleportation ability he stole from Kiat, turning them into soul armaments.
This was quite difficult as numerous runes were required to complete the replication procedure of the genuine teleportation but it worked out, and was far better than expected.
Using their respective cultivation energy, they were able to use teleportation owing to Jason’s efficient use of the constellations of runes.
Jennifer clearly understood that Jason’s skills in manufacturing goods had increased a lot.
Thus, she couldn’t help but look at her lover with gleaming eyes as a single thought reverberated through her mind.
‘Is he preparing all of this because he wants to postpone creating the UTC device, or is it for something else?’
There were quite a few times he was creating when Jennifer noticed that Jason was overly serious, almost to the extent that she found his behavior extremely eerie.
However, what Jason didn’t tell her was the fact that he was fully aware of what would happen the moment he would enter the Driekta stage.
Becoming a Demi God might not be something overly special for him anymore.
But what followed suit was- the Tertiary bloodline awakening.
Jason knew that it would be a huge event, enveloping the majority of Tagran, waking up all Beast Gods out of their hibernation.
This meant that not only the Beast Gods and the other Godly existences that inhabited Tagran would be notified of his arrival, but also the Primordials.
Thus, the moment he became a Demi God, he would have to be prepared for a large-scale fight against Primordials, or the beings they sent after him.
And the fight that was bound to happen was bound to cause tremendous consequences to Jason, and everyone around him.
After all, it didn’t look like even a single Primordial was on his side because not even his father was able to do something in his favor!
