Chapter 1082: Chapter 1078: Xiao Tian’s Avatar

Xiao Tian thought for a while and still nodded in agreement. Although he didn’t believe, nor did he care, whether the Qian Family would ambush them on the way back, it was still best to return home first and leave other matters for later.

With the decision made, the group followed Xiao Tian and set off on the road back to the Zhong Family home.

Yet, one couldn’t help but wonder how Zhong Aiguo and Xiao Nianqing would react upon seeing their son really bring back the royal little princess?

——

While Xiao Tian was on the path back to Zhong Family’s house, little did he know his other "double" had already substituted him back at the villa in Shanghai...

"Ding dong! Ding dong! Ding dong!"

The urgent ringing of the doorbell startled Lin Bingxuan and Le Yaoyao in the living room, their gazes instinctively meeting.

Ever since the phone call with her future mother-in-law ended, Lin Bingxuan had truly stayed within the villa, not stepping out at all, embodying the very essence of a refined lady.

And the little girl, dragged along with her, born with a love for excitement, couldn’t stand this confinement-like lifestyle. The limited space made her wish she could hit her head against the wall to break out.

Of course, the little girl hadn’t tried every conceivable means but even displaying innocence and imploring in a pitiable manner hadn’t budged Lin Bingxuan in the slightest.

Lin Bingxuan didn’t care if the little girl labeled her as cold-hearted; given the tense situation, she would rather have the little girl resent her internally than let anything happen to her!

However, Lin Bingxuan did overthink things, as the little girl was indeed a bit headstrong, but not oblivious to right and wrong. Despite strongly opposing her confinement, she held no true resentment.

At the moment, hearing the doorbell ring, the little girl felt as if hearing a heavenly tune, rolling off the sofa onto the carpet, only to enthusiastically climb up and say, "Someone’s here! Auntie, I’m going to answer the door!"

Without waiting for Lin Bingxuan’s response, she quickly dashed towards the door, only to be grabbed by the collar before leaving the room.

"Cough cough cough cough cough!" After a fervent cough, the little girl patted her chest in displeasure and said, "Auntie, if you want to strangle me, just say so, okay?"

Lin Bingxuan’s face remained solemn, completely ignoring the little girl’s reaction. Her calm mind began to rapidly analyze and secretly calculate the identity of the person outside...

Judging from the three successive doorbell rings, the visitor likely had something urgent or was someone restless with little patience.

Among those she knew, it seemed that no one was quick-tempered; even Melinda, who was relatively hasty, would never ring the bell in succession and would simply jump over the wall instead.

Then there’s the question of timing. At this distinctly sensitive moment, the identity of the visitor is indeed hard to ascertain...

Thinking more and more without conclusion, Lin Bingxuan had to deploy her Perception Power, discovering that a person indeed stood outside the door but, strangely, only confirming a presence without showing other traits.

This made Lin Bingxuan’s face even more serious, as the current situation only indicates one thing: the visitor is stronger than her, not just by a line but far beyond!

While she mulled over this, hesitant whether to go out to check the door, a sudden shout echoed near her.

Following the sound, she found the little girl, unknowingly, had sneakily lifted the corner of the curtain and now looked terrified, frozen like a statue.

Silently cursing her own carelessness for losing track of Le Yaoyao, Lin Bingxuan hurried over and, in a low voice, asked, "What did you see, Yaoyao?"

Before the little girl could respond, a "click" sounded, the door handle turning.

This made Lin Bingxuan even more anxious; despite locking the house securely, how could someone open it so effortlessly?

Yet before she could react, the door was opened and upon seeing the person’s face, Lin Bingxuan froze like the little girl, tears welling in her eyes, her rims reddening...

What Lin Bingxuan saw was the "Xiao Tian" she longed for day and night, now clad in a black suit, holding a bouquet of roses, and smilingly saying, "I’m back..."

His words quieted the entire world, Xiao Tian’s eyebrows subtly furrowing, as he jokingly said, "What? Don’t you welcome me?"

Lin Bingxuan stepped forward slowly, her face tear-stained, "I’ve been worried about you, knowing that I couldn’t see you all this time. Don’t you understand how worried I’ve been?"

"I’m sorry!" Xiao Tian displayed an apologetic expression, handing the bouquet to Lin Bingxuan: "This is for you."

Lin Bingxuan blushed, tremblingly reaching for the large bouquet of roses. Just as she was about to receive it, a cold glitter flashed in her eyes, then transforming her hand into a palm, she thrust it forward.

Meanwhile, Le Yaoyao screamed, "Auntie, watch out! He’s not Uncle!" Her voice firm, as if absolutely certain.

In an instant, the pink mighty True Qi struck Xiao Tian, sending him flying. Lin Bingxuan seized the moment to retreat and shield Le Yaoyao with her own body.

In fact, after the initial shock of seeing this "Xiao Tian", both of them began to suspect, as the man’s demeanor, albeit identical to Xiao Tian’s, gave off a strange vibe.

While an unfamiliar person might be deceived, someone like the little girl and Lin Bingxuan, close to Xiao Tian, could easily spot inconsistencies.

Moreover, though his imitation was flawless, subtle differences could be detected in his voice, as well as disparities in actions and nuances.

Certainly, if not for that first impression, these subtle points could easily be overlooked.

But as the little girl and Lin Bingxuan sensed something amiss from the onset, the subsequent occurrences showed apparent flaws, unable to match Xiao Tian’s true demeanor.

Now, the two women looked gravely at the "Xiao Tian" who had fallen not far off, seeing him slowly rise with a pained expression, rubbing his knee while saying, "Don’t listen to Yaoyao’s nonsense, if I’m not Xiao Tian, who else would I be?"

Then, turning, pretending to be angry, he spoke to Lin Bingxuan, "Bingxuan, I admit I’ve been gone too long without contact, that was my mistake, but you didn’t have to greet me like this, did you?"
