God Level Necromancer: My Talent Multiplies All My Gains to 10000x
Chapter 89: Artifact Refiner
After a while, the wounds covering Jiang Han’s body had healed considerably. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Arthur with deep gratitude, his expression filled with respect.
"Thank you, Guild Master. I will remain eternally grateful for your kindness," he said passionately.
Now that he knew Arthur’s identity, addressing him by his title was only natural.
"Don’t mention it. We both got what we wanted. Now, come with me. I’m eager to try out your Jiang family secret technique." Arthur smiled before summoning his Shadow Panther.
The three of them climbed onto its back, and the panther immediately rushed forward at full speed. As the scenery blurred around them, Arthur began contemplating the possibilities that awaited him.
What would happen once he awakened his second class?
Normally, every class provided a fixed number of attribute points with each level gained. Players could then distribute those points according to their needs, allowing them to develop their characters in different ways.
But would his second class grant him an entirely separate set of attribute points? More importantly, could he evolve that class to the Primordial Grade as well?
Arthur could hardly contain his excitement. If his assumptions proved correct, the benefits would be enormous. He wished he could return to the guild immediately and test his theories.
Unfortunately, Jiang Han wasn’t a player. Unlike Arthur’s guild members, he couldn’t use the system’s teleportation function, meaning Arthur had no choice but to escort them personally.
Several hours later, they finally arrived in Herian City. After traveling through the city, they soon reached the location of the Omega Shelter.
Arthur stopped the Shadow Panther and instructed Jiang Han and his daughter to follow him inside. The three of them entered the shelter and appeared on the ninth floor, where no one was currently present because his cousins were busy reshaping the town.
Without wasting time, Arthur led his guests to the fifth floor, where he intended to arrange their accommodation.
"Senior, from now on, you’ll be living here. I’ll arrange a smithy for you to practice in once you’ve fully recovered. For now, just focus on getting better," Arthur said.
He then opened the system shop and purchased a luxurious villa for them at the cost of 1,000 Divine Gold. The moment he confirmed the purchase, the surrounding space began to change as the villa materialized through the system’s power.
Jiang Han’s daughter stared at the scene with her mouth hanging open. She looked so astonished that someone could almost have mistaken her expression for an invitation to place a tennis ball inside.
"So this is the power of players, huh?" Jiang Han remarked, his eyes filled with amazement as well.
Arthur merely smiled. Although he could have given Jiang Han another Fruit of Life, the fruit could only be used by a Demigod-level being, and each individual could consume only one per level.
Consequently, Arthur had no choice but to purchase healing potions and other medicinal materials from the system shop. He handed them to Jiang Han, expecting the old man to recover much faster with their help.
Once Jiang Han had fully recovered, he would be able to begin working immediately. Arthur had specific artifacts he wanted him to create, and having a skilled artifact refiner at his disposal would save him considerable time and effort.
Relying on monster drops and searching for treasures was simply too inefficient. The monsters Arthur currently encountered were relatively weak, and although his talent allowed him to evolve the grades of their drops, the items themselves were still far too simple for his needs.
What he required were complex artifacts such as the Heavenly Mirror of Fate, items whose creation demanded specialized knowledge and extraordinary craftsmanship.
He had already consulted the system about the mirror’s value. Even though it was merely a damaged, top-quality Epic-grade item, its price in the system shop had already exceeded one billion Divine Gold.
"Thank you for your generosity, Guild Master," Jiang Han said, cupping his fists respectfully.
"All right, I’m leaving. If you need anything, contact me using this communication token," Arthur replied, handing him a token.
Since Jiang Han wasn’t a player, he couldn’t communicate with Arthur through the usual player messaging system. The token would allow them to stay in contact despite that limitation.
Jiang Han accepted it carefully. He had destroyed his previous communication token while escaping from his enemies because he didn’t want them to track his location by tracing its signal.
After making sure his guests had everything they needed, Arthur left them behind and headed directly to the ground floor, which served as his personal base.
He had already constructed a large lake there, surrounded by trees, with a beautiful villa standing beside the water. The peaceful scenery was a welcome contrast to the dangerous world outside, and the entire area looked remarkably pleasant.
However, Arthur had more important things to do than admire the scenery. He immediately took out the scroll containing the Jiang family’s secret technique from his spatial ring.
[Ding! Do you want to learn the Jiang family secret technique?]
"Oh, I can learn it directly? Without any practice?" Arthur asked, his eyes lighting up with pleasant surprise.
He had expected to spend some time practicing the technique before mastering it. After all, artifact refining was a specialized craft that required considerable knowledge and experience.
[Ding! As the holder of a Primordial-grade class, you possess divine-level comprehension. Learning this technique is an extremely simple task for you.]
"Good. Then I want to learn it."
[Ding! You have learned the Jiang family secret technique, the Thousand Hammer Artifact Refining Art.]
[Ding! You have awakened a second class, Artifact Refiner. Do you want to swap your current class?]
Arthur’s expression immediately fell. It turned out that he had to switch classes to use the abilities associated with his second class.
His dream of gaining double attribute points from two classes and becoming a divine being in a single step had just been crushed.
"Sigh!"
After a brief moment of disappointment, Arthur accepted reality. "Yes, I want to swap classes," he muttered.
Despite losing access to his previous class’s abilities temporarily, he still intended to develop his Artifact Refiner class. With his extraordinary comprehension and talent, he had a genuine chance of eventually becoming a Divine-grade artifact refiner capable of creating Mythical-grade items, or perhaps even God-grade artifacts.
The moment he confirmed his decision, a strange sensation swept through his body. He felt slightly dizzy, and when his vision finally cleared, the overwhelming power he had grown accustomed to was gone.
Previously, his presence alone had been enough to crush Legendary or Epic-grade bosses into bloody pulp. Now, that almost omnipotent feeling had vanished into thin air, leaving him feeling remarkably ordinary.
His strength had returned to Level 0, and all five of his attributes had fallen to pitiful single-digit values.
Arthur frowned briefly before issuing another command. "Use Divine Gold to reach Level 10."
[Ding! You have used Divine Gold to reach Level 10. You have gained 2,500 attribute points.]
This time, Arthur didn’t distribute the points evenly. He had discovered that the Artifact Refiner class couldn’t use Atomic Body Control, which meant investing heavily in agility and others would serve little purpose for his current build.
Instead, he allocated his attributes according to the needs of a genuine artifact refiner, prioritizing the stats he believed would be most useful for his new class.
[Name: Arthur Miller
Level: 10
Vitality: 200
Strength: 1,000
Agility: 100
Defence: 300
Mana: 950]
"Good. Now I need to keep learning new artifact recipes and practicing my refining techniques until I can create Mythical-grade artifacts. Only then will I consider evolving this class further," Arthur said with satisfaction.
He had a clear goal in mind. Rather than rushing to evolve his new class without understanding its potential, he would first master the fundamentals, improve his craftsmanship, and discover how far his extraordinary advantages could take him.
"Now, it’s time to leave the game and investigate that island."
With that thought, Arthur prepared to return to the real world, eager to uncover the secrets waiting for him.
Then Arthur logged out of the game immediately.
[Ding! Do you want to bring your Artifact Refiner class attributes into the real world?]
"Yes!"
[Ding! 10,000 Divine Gold has been deducted.]
Arthur opened his eyes, and the moment he checked his status panel, his eyes widened in surprise. An additional 2,500 attribute points had appeared in his panel, waiting to be distributed.
For a moment, he simply stared at the numbers before an uncontrollable grin spread across his face. He could hardly contain his excitement as a bold possibility emerged in his mind.
Didn’t this mean that although he had to switch between his two classes inside the game, their powers could coexist in the real world?
And if he could somehow evolve his second class to Mythical grade, then wouldn’t he keep getting monstrous boost in power with every level up?
