Chapter 49: Parker family extermination

Arthur no longer had any intention of hiding his identity. He was already strong enough to destroy the entire country of Arvia by himself, let alone with his ten God-level generals, nine hundred and ninety nuclear soldiers, and ten Skeleton Warriors.

There was no reason for him to continue concealing who he was. If the world wanted to know that Darklord was Arthur Miller, then so be it. From this moment onward, he would openly walk beneath his own name.

With that thought, Arthur ended the call.

On the other side, Frank remained completely motionless, staring blankly at the ceiling. That call had confirmed his suspicion. Arthur Miller was none other than the legendary Darklord himself.

Frank slowly swallowed.

Arthur had just announced his intention to exterminate an entire major family. By all standards, that was an outright declaration of war against the laws of the country.

But then came the other part.

Five hundred Legendary-grade items.

"Damn..."

Even the entire Arvian military possessed only around one hundred Legendary-grade items. And the only reason they had managed to acquire even those was because Darklord had generously provided them at an extremely favorable price.

Frank rubbed his forehead helplessly.

"Forget it. I’m not qualified to make this decision myself. Let those old fellows deal with this headache."

He immediately contacted the general and repeated exactly what Arthur had told him.

The moment the general heard the number five hundred Legendary-grade items, his expression changed completely. His eyes turned green with undisguised greed.

"Hahahaha! Let him kill them!"

The general’s laughter echoed through the room. "What a bunch of idiots! The Parker family actually dared to offend Darklord. Investigate those bastards immediately and declare them guilty of treason."

He didn’t hesitate for even a moment.

"Family extermination? That’s nothing. Those people are nothing but a bunch of vile and corrupt criminals. They’re connected to all kinds of crimes anyway. Getting rid of them will only benefit the country."

Frank’s mouth twitched violently.

He knew the Parker family wasn’t exactly innocent. In fact, he knew very well that they had committed plenty of shady acts over the years.

But abandoning them this quickly?

Five hundred Legendary-grade items had apparently made the general completely forget that the Parker family even existed.

"Fine. I’ll handle the situation," Frank said with a sigh. "You should contact the Inspector General of Police and inform him not to send anyone toward the Parker estate."

"Don’t worry," the general replied calmly. "Not a single government officer will be anywhere near the Parker family for the next twelve hours."

Frank could only sigh.

"Understood."

"You can do whatever you want," Frank eventually said to Arthur. "But, sir, please don’t make a habit of exterminating entire families. That will make the situation extremely difficult for us to manage."

Arthur chuckled softly.

"Don’t worry. As long as they don’t provoke someone close to me to the point of breaking, I won’t retaliate this violently."

After hearing that, Frank finally relaxed slightly.

Arthur was relieved as well. He had no desire to become an enemy of the Arvian government. Maintaining a cooperative relationship was far more beneficial than turning the entire country against him.

After ending the call, Arthur and Paul had already left the university through another gate.

The area around the back gate was relatively empty. Beyond it stretched a vast forest, while a river flowed nearby. Aurora University had deliberately been built beside both the forest and the river because the surrounding ecosystem provided exceptional opportunities for research.

The forest contained an enormous variety of plants and animals, making it an important location for biological research, ecological studies, and countless other scientific projects.

There were even two mineral deposits deep within the forest. That was one of the major reasons the government had established Aurora University there, allowing students to gain practical experience instead of relying solely on theoretical knowledge.

Arthur stopped walking and looked toward Sam.

"Kill him."

Paul’s expression changed slightly.

He had heard the entire conversation between Arthur and the government. Yet even after hearing it himself, he still couldn’t fully process the truth.

His best friend was actually Darklord.

The strongest player in the world.

The legendary existence whose name had become synonymous with absolute power and influence.

"Okay."

Paul’s eyes gradually became cold again.

He walked toward Sam without hesitation. He didn’t torture him or waste any unnecessary time. With one clean slash, the dagger passed through his neck, ending his life instantly.

Arthur nodded.

"Give me your bank account number."

Paul stared at him blankly for a moment before handing over the information.

A few seconds later, Paul’s eyes suddenly widened.

Ten billion Arvian Dollars had been transferred directly into his account.

"Go and establish a Platinum-grade foundation for the rest of your level," Arthur said calmly. "After that, come to Evergreen Company if you want to work there."

Arthur smiled faintly before turning around and leaving.

Paul remained standing there in a daze, staring at the enormous balance displayed on his phone.

Only after Arthur had completely disappeared from sight did Paul slowly lower his head and bow.

Tears continued rolling down his face.

"From today onward, my life belongs to you, my brother."

Meanwhile, Noah silently appeared near the Parker family’s estate.

His entire body was concealed beneath the effects of a Legendary-grade stealth skill that Arthur had given him. Even powerful players would have difficulty detecting his presence while the skill remained active.

Noah looked toward the enormous estate with cold eyes.

"You should blame yourself for offending someone you should never have provoked."

His voice was barely a whisper.

The next instant, his figure vanished.

That night, the Parker family’s estate became a scene of absolute carnage.

Screams echoed through the estate as blood stained the ground. Members of the Parker family desperately tried to contact their connections, calling everyone they believed could save them.

But no one answered.

Every single connection they relied upon had suddenly become useless.

It was as though the entire world had abandoned them.

Even the family’s powerful players were helpless. They couldn’t see their enemy, couldn’t locate his position, and couldn’t even understand how their defenses were being breached.

One by one, they fell.

Every few seconds, another member of the Parker family lost their life.

And throughout the entire night, not a single government official appeared.

Later that night, Arthur returned to his mansion.

Sebas was already waiting for him, standing beside the table and calmly pouring tea. The familiar sight immediately made the mansion feel peaceful again after the chaos of the day.

Arthur sat down, picked up the cup and took a sip.

"How was your trial?"

"It went smoothly, Young Master," Sebas replied respectfully. "I am now a Legendary-grade Earth Magus."

He paused for a moment.

"My new class is Earth Sovereign."

Arthur nodded with satisfaction.

"Then enter the game now and come to this location. We have many things to deal with."

"Yes, Young Master."

Arthur closed his eyes.

Ten seconds later, his consciousness returned to Genesis Realm.

When he opened his eyes again, the familiar world of the game appeared before him.
