‘Wait a sec, this look is a little familiar.’

‘I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere before…’

‘Hmm, where have I seen it?’

His mind raced, and a flash of inspiration suddenly struck. Li Ziyu’s eyes flew open.

Bone King!

*Overlord*!

Cosets!

‘Cosets, is that you?’

‘Bebuta is just your alias, isn’t it? Your real name must be Cosets!’

‘That appearance, that look, that way of speaking, that whole vibe… You couldn’t just say they’re similar; they’re exactly the same.’

‘I always thought *Overlord* was just an anime, a light novel. I never expected to see a living version.’

‘If Bebuta is defeated, will an Ainz Ooal Gown show up?’

‘Uh… wait. Ainz Ooal Gown is a heteromorphic race, and his appearance is… a Skeleton?’

‘And his Race is Ruler of Death.’

‘So in a way, Ainz Ooal Gown is… from the Undead Race?!’

‘And the current ruler of the Skeleton Undead Race is… me?’

‘So, I’m… Ainz Ooal Gown, the Bone King?!’

‘Holy shit! Thinking about it like that, it feels like I’ve stumbled upon some incredible secret.’

‘Okay, that’s enough daydreaming. It can’t be real. After all, I still look Human, not like a skeleton.’

‘Time to watch the show.’

After his wild train of thought, Li Ziyu turned his gaze back to the battlefield.

After drawing his Dual Swords, a terrifying Energy burst from Bebuta’s body.

It was Energy from the Void, the most fundamental Power that Void Creatures wield.

The Power flowed out of Bebuta’s body and into his weapons. All three weapons began to glow with a blue light.

At the same time, the surrounding temperature dropped wildly, and white vapor plumed from Bebuta’s mouth.

An aura of cold spread out in a circle from where he stood, freezing everything it touched, whether it was the ground or the green grass.

The Power of extreme cold.

“Are you serious?”

Damenevsky couldn’t help but ask as he felt the cold seep into his skin.

‘To think I’d run into an expert who uses ice powers. What a coincidence. Isn’t this just forcing me to bully him?’

Damenevsky felt a little annoyed.

Bebuta failed to understand what Damenevsky meant.

“?”

“Forget it. Let’s go.”

Damenevsky shook his head and raised his axe again.

This time, he was not the one to attack first. Instead, Bebuta initiated the offense.

A white, cold mist spread, gradually enveloping Bebuta’s figure. If not for the blue glow of his weapons, it would have been impossible to even know where he was.

Bebuta not only had Power, but his Speed was also impressive. In a single flash, he was beside Damenevsky.

The two straight swords slashed in a cross, flashing with a cold glint in the air.

Bebuta and Damenevsky brushed past each other.

‘Is it already over?’

Seeing this, Li Ziyu instantly sat up straight, his expression growing tense.

Then he saw Damenevsky spin around, axe in hand, and bring it down viciously on Bebuta.

This seemed to be beyond Bebuta’s expectations. He hastily raised his Lance to block Damenevsky’s axe.

CRACK!

The ice that had formed on the War Axe shattered upon impact, scattering into glittering crystals from the immense force.

Bebuta, having blocked the War Axe, looked at Damenevsky with a strange expression, filled with confusion.

“Why…”

“Why what? What are you even doing?”

“Is that it? Is that it? Is that it?”

Damenevsky said, relentlessly swinging his War Axe, hacking down again and again.

As the saying goes, one wrong step leads to many more. Bebuta never expected his extreme cold to have no effect on the Human before him, and he instantly fell into a disadvantage.

Damenevsky’s axe was both heavy and powerful. After just a few strikes, Bebuta couldn’t take it anymore. Seizing an opening, he raised his Dual Swords and slashed at Damenevsky.

Damenevsky leaped backward, easily dodging the slash of the Dual Swords.

‘He wasn’t frozen?’

Only now did Bebuta have a chance to observe Damenevsky, and he was astonished to find that his opponent showed no signs of being affected by the extreme cold he had created.

‘Is this guy really a Human?’

Bebuta’s confidence suddenly wavered, and he began to doubt his own judgment.

Not even other Void Creatures could withstand his extreme cold, let alone Humans. Their blood would freeze, and if they remained in the cold for too long, their bodies would turn solid. There would be no need to fight; a single tap would shatter them into pieces.

Yet, it had absolutely no effect on the Human in front of him.

It wasn’t as if Bebuta had never fought Humans before; he had encountered powerful Human experts.

Under his extreme cold, not a single one of those powerful Humans had ever lasted past the first exchange.

After he unleashed his extreme cold, it wouldn’t even take a second for those Humans to be frozen into blocks of ice, shattering to pieces with a single slash.

‘Why is it completely ineffective against this guy?’

In the face of Bebuta’s confusion, Damenevsky simply moved his body around a bit, even stretching languidly.

In this extreme cold, not only did he feel no discomfort, but he actually felt even more comfortable.

This wasn’t Bebuta’s fault. It could only be said that Damenevsky had always lived in such an extremely cold environment.

Li Ziyu’s understanding of the Otherworld was still too shallow; he didn’t grasp what kind of place the Northern Domain truly was.

The Northern Domain of the Otherworld was a true land of ice and snow. To compare it to the Arctic and Antarctic would be an understatement.

All year round, it remained in a state of extreme cold.

So how could a member of the Hero Race, who grew up in such an environment, possibly care about the extreme cold Bebuta was releasing?

It wasn’t even as harsh as the forbidden lands in the Northern Domain. Trying to freeze Damenevsky was nothing short of a joke.
