If the Void Creatures were to appear in swarms, Li Ziyu's current forces wouldn't be able to hold them off. He would have no way to quickly eliminate those creatures.

They were truly powerful, but the rewards were great as well. Soul Energy, blood that could be used for lubrication, Magic Energy, and Void Energy—it was all good stuff.

When he came across a lone Void Creature, he would still hunt it. Strike if he had the chance, run if he didn't.

Coincidentally, he was feeling a little hungry. Time to try the newly acquired Insect Flesh. The system had confirmed it was an edible meat, rich in nutrients and highly beneficial to the body.

Li Ziyu had the Undead set up a dining table. He then retrieved a piece of Insect Flesh from the Warehouse and brought it over, along with a brazier. Li Ziyu planned to grill it.

The Insect Flesh looked incredible. It was translucent and springy, almost like jellied crystal. Li Ziyu sliced off a thin piece, which shimmered with specks of starlight—that was the Void Energy infused within the flesh. Based on its appearance alone, he could have eaten it raw like sashimi.

To be on the safe side, Li Ziyu still placed the slice of meat on the fire. The Insect Flesh sizzled as it grilled, and its fat dripped down, causing the flames to flare up. A rich, meaty aroma filled the air, enough to make one's mouth water.

Once it was mostly cooked, Li Ziyu immediately sprinkled some seasoning on it and impatiently popped it into his mouth. It was so hot he hissed, but he refused to spit it out, sucking in sharp breaths as he struggled to chew.

'Mmm, delicious.' The meat was tender with a rich texture, very similar to salmon, but its flavor leaned more toward beef—savory, fragrant, and smooth.

After eating a piece of the Insect Flesh, Li Ziyu felt mentally refreshed as a pleasant warmth spread through his body. The fatigue from his journey across the Desolate Land of Death was completely swept away, leaving him astonished. 'Eating Insect Flesh can relieve fatigue? This is great stuff!'

'If it has this effect, why not have a few more bites?' Li Ziyu quickly resumed slicing and grilling the meat.

After eating five or six pieces in a row, Li Ziyu couldn't take another bite. It wasn't that he didn't want to, but that he was full. He hadn't eaten much, but the Insect Flesh was high in Energy and extremely filling, making it a very high-quality food source.

He picked up the fruit juice beside him and took a few sips, then let out a very satisfied burp.

'Alright, I've eaten my fill. Time to get back on the road. I need to explore this space as quickly as possible and find a way out. I also need to figure out how to determine the coordinates here for easy access in the future.'

'I might not need the resources here now, but who knows about the future? As my Mechanical Technology continues to advance, I'll need an ever-increasing variety of materials. There's nothing wrong with preparing in advance.'

The Evil Spirit Wanderers set out first to scout the path ahead. Only after they had traveled some distance did the Undead Fortress slowly start up and follow behind them.

As it turned out, there were fewer Void Creatures on the plains than Li Ziyu had expected. It wasn't even easy to find one. The Evil Spirit Wanderers, on the other hand, discovered plenty of Wild Beasts, which they dealt with and dragged back to the Undead Fortress.

He had no idea how vast these plains were. Without any coordinates, Li Ziyu couldn't get his bearings. He simply ordered the Undead Fortress to move straight ahead, though he wasn't even sure if they were truly traveling in a straight line. When he observed the surroundings from the Great Tomb, the scenery never seemed to change.

When he had first arrived on the plains, the lush greenery had been a refreshing sight. But after staring at it for so long, the unchanging view had become dreadfully boring.

"When is this going to end? Aren't the Void Lands supposed to be rich in resources? How come I haven't seen anything?" Li Ziyu muttered to himself with a yawn. 'If only Liu Xingxing were here,' he thought. 'With a Treasure Hunting Catman around, we'd definitely find plenty of good stuff.'

Just as he was nodding off from boredom, a message came from the Evil Spirit Wanderers up ahead. They had discovered signs of life. A battle was taking place.

Hearing this, Li Ziyu was instantly wide awake. He sat up, his eyes brimming with curiosity. 'Finally, something interesting.' He immediately ordered his forces to halt and lie in wait.

Seated within the Great Tomb, he gazed in the direction of the battle pointed out by the Evil Spirit Wanderers.

'Huh... Interesting. Infighting among the Beastman Race?'

'Gorilla Men versus... a Leopard Woman?'

There were four Gorilla Beastmen and only one Leopard Woman. The two sides were locked in a fierce struggle. The Leopard Woman was in constant peril under the Gorilla Beastmen's assault, forced to rely on her Speed to constantly dodge. Her own occasional attacks were completely ineffective against the Gorilla Beastmen.

"Oh boy, the Leopard Woman isn't going to last much longer."

"Tsk, she got sent flying. I bet that hurt."

"Oho, not bad moves. Those two backflips to stick the landing? I'd give her a perfect ten."

"She's not running? Still plans to fight back? Heh, what a temper."

With the gleeful attitude of a spectator who loved a good show, Li Ziyu watched happily, letting out gasps of surprise and muttering a running commentary.

'Wait... what am I doing? Am I just enjoying the show?'

'Have I gone stupid?!'

Li Ziyu suddenly snapped out of it. This was no time to be a spectator! 'I've finally found an intelligent Race, so why am I just watching the show? I should hurry up and capture... no, that's not right... *hire* a guide, shouldn't I?'

'These Beastmen must know more than I do. With their help, it should be much easier to find the way out.'

'So, who should I help?'

'Should I help those Gorilla Beastmen, or the Leopard Woman, who has a fierce, wild look about her, a smoking hot body, and incredible curves?'

'Is that even a question? Of course, I'll... take them all!'

'Evil Spirit Wanderers, move out! Bring them all to me!'
