Global Lords: The Undead's Mobile Fortress
Chapter 413 - 200: Negotiation Failed 2
Soaring Eagle: It’s not that complicated. I just want to kill him, that’s all. Nothing more to it. I’ve been trying to track him down recently. Brother Li, if you get any leads, be sure to let me know.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: Yeah, will do.
Soaring Eagle: That’s all for now. I’ll come find you for a drink when I have time.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: Hahaha, sounds good.
Soaring Eagle: Oh, right. That dumbass’s ID is ’Arrogant Brother Ping’.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: Got it.
Li Ziyu closed the chat and sighed. ’Damn, Batubohe really holds a deep grudge against this Dragon Lizard Lord. What the hell did that guy even do?’
’Regardless of their personal beef, the problem still needed to be solved. And now he had the guy’s ID.’
’First things first, add him as a friend.’
Adding a friend required confirmation, so Li Ziyu thought he would have to wait a while. To his surprise, the other party accepted his friend request before he even made it back to the Fortress.

Arrogant Brother Ping: Who is this?
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: You’re the Dragon Lizard Lord? I’m the Undead Lord.
Arrogant Brother Ping: Oh, yeah, that’s me. What do you want?
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: A small matter. I’m just saying, could you maybe not go around Plundering the Natives in the Wasteland so wantonly? It’s kind of disrupting the local ecosystem.
Arrogant Brother Ping: Are you from the EPA or something? How are you still so dedicated to your job after transmigrating? Did me grabbing Tribe resources get in your way?
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: I wouldn’t say ’get in my way,’ but this area is basically my turf. If you’re going to come over here and farm resources, don’t you think you should give me a heads-up?
Arrogant Brother Ping: I can’t agree with that. We’re all Transmigrators, not NPCs. Our castles can move. Wherever we go, that’s where we are. You say this is your turf? Does the land have your name written on it? Does it answer when you call?
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: That’s a bit out of line, don’t you think? I’m trying to talk this out with you nicely.
Arrogant Brother Ping: I’m not cursing at you, am I? I’m talking this out nicely, too.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: So there’s nothing to discuss, then?
Arrogant Brother Ping: Where did you get my ID?
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: You don’t need to worry about that. Just tell me if you can stop being so excessive. Your actions have created a lot of refugees in the Wasteland lately, and things are getting unstable.
Arrogant Brother Ping: You don’t need to worry about that. What’s it got to do with you?
Well, the negotiations had failed. With a calm expression, Li Ziyu stopped replying and instead opened his chat with Batubohe.

Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: Has the Dragon Lizard Lord always been this wild, this arrogant, this unreasonable?
Soaring Eagle: You got in touch with him?
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: I did. It didn’t go well. The talks completely broke down.
Soaring Eagle: Haha... He didn’t seem so arrogant before. When he first made contact with us, he was quite polite and a smooth talker. He made a good impression.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: So he has a problem with me, then. That’s why he wasn’t willing to talk.
Soaring Eagle: Not really. The guy was really weak when he first contacted us. He used his silver tongue to beg us for resources. After we gave them to him, the kid started to grow, and then he began Plundering everywhere and constantly expanding, pretty much just like he’s doing now.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: And then?
Soaring Eagle: Then he pissed off the Strong Races, of course. They hunted him down, so he came running back to us for help. We still thought he was a decent guy at the time, so we helped him. We even told him not to go around Plundering like that, since we were no match for the Strong Races yet. He agreed readily on the surface but kept doing whatever he wanted. A classic case of saying one thing and doing another.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: Keep going.
Soaring Eagle: What else is there to say? The kid is sweet-talking but black-hearted. Every time he stirred up trouble, he’d come running to us for help. If we didn’t help, he’d lead the Strong Races right to us and then take off on his own. Anyway, he caused a lot of problems. Our war with the Strong Races had a lot to do with him. The real kicker is, when the final battle came, the kid just ran away.
Don’t Want to Get a Driver’s License: Holy shit, what a piece of work.
Soaring Eagle: Hahaha... Yeah, a real piece of work. Why else do you think I’m looking for him? I’m gonna find him and twist his head off!
’So the Dragon Lizard Lord is just a textbook villain,’ Li Ziyu thought, now having a clear picture.
He wasn’t particularly familiar with Batubohe either, but Batubohe had lent a hand at a critical moment. Plus, he had been very well-behaved during this time. Li Ziyu was inclined to trust him—at least more than he’d trust that Dragon Lizard Lord.
According to Batubohe, this Dragon Lizard Lord was a selfish man who only thought of himself and acted solely for his own benefit. People like that were innumerable in his previous life. To use a phrase from a friend back then, he was a "freeloader who thinks you’re his dad."
When you had money, this kind of guy would stick to you like a stubborn plaster you couldn’t peel off. An endless stream of sweet nothings would flow from his mouth; he’d stop just short of calling you his ancestor. The moment he got into trouble, he’d come begging for your help, but he’d never learn his lesson. If you ignored him, he’d go around telling everyone how you were in the wrong, spreading rumors and bad-mouthing you. In his version of the story, you weren’t even human; you had wronged him.
And that was the *good* part. The moment you were down on your luck or in trouble, he wouldn’t give a damn about any past connection. He’d turn on you in a heartbeat. In fact, this type of guy was often the first one to attack you, and he’d make sure to kick you while you’re down until you could never get up again.
The kind of person who, if you cut them open, you’d find their heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys were all black. Even their blood would be black.
