Global Lords: Starting with Female Hero Fusion
Chapter 512 - 336: Swift Victory (Part 2)
"Alright, connect it," Zhao Chi said confidently.
Su Qin nodded and connected with the Magical Beasts. A muffled sound echoed from the west, but when they looked over, they could only see pitch blackness. Especially with the bright torchlight surrounding them, peering into the darkness outside made it even harder to see anything.
The Elves were a little tense. Standing on the defense tower, they stared intently at the west, tightly gripping their Bows and Arrows.
The Beastmen and Human Soldiers formed their ranks below. Their Loyalty wasn’t high; they had quite a few complaints about fighting at night and didn’t understand the necessity of it. However, their Loyalty was just enough, so they only grumbled a few words before picking up their Weapons to await the battle.
Su Qin looked at Zhao Chi, waiting for his orders.
"Alright, Su Qin," Zhao Chi said. "Find a safe place to wait for me. I’ll be right back."
"Okay," Su Qin nodded. "If you need me, just send a message, and I’ll immediately bring people over to support you."
Zhao Chi smiled. "Don’t worry. We’re heading out."
"Don’t rush. I’ll cast Eagle Eye on you."
Light flashed, enhancing the vision of everyone in the Zhao Chi Army.
"The Eagle Eye Skill’s Effect isn’t very obvious at night, but a little Effect is better than none," Su Qin said.
Zhao Chi smiled. "Exactly. Be careful." He then issued an order to Gu Qing and the Others. "Form a mobile formation and head west!"
"Yes!"
The Female Soldiers strode forward with their long legs, setting off to the sound of metal friction and neat, rhythmic footsteps. The orange torchlight shone on their Armor, reflecting a golden gleam.
Su Qin looked at Zhao Chi’s retreating back with some worry until he completely disappeared into the darkness. She silently hoped that they would encounter Skeletons again this time.
"Ms. Su Qin, why... aren’t they bringing Torches?"
Su Qin’s body suddenly jolted. That was True... Zhao Chi and his Female Soldiers just left like that? Did they not need Torches?
The Elves looked at each other in dismay. Were they planning to fight the enemy in the pitch dark, completely devoid of light? But they quickly realized that Zhao Chi might have some illuminating Spiritual Technique.
"It doesn’t matter," Su Qin said. "Zhao Chi has his own arrangements. We just need to guard the territory and be ready to provide support at any time."
"Yes!"
Zhao Chi didn’t possess the Night Vision Gene. Once he left the range of the Torches, he couldn’t see what was ahead at all. But he didn’t need to look; he simply slipped into Gu Qing’s body, letting her carry him forward. Using Gu Qing’s eyes, he could clearly see everything around him.
Since Su Qin’s Elves weren’t moving with them this time, Zhao Chi’s Female Soldiers unleashed their full speed. In an instant, they swept past the bamboo forest, then shot across the open clearing with Flying Speed, and finally dashed through the woods.
The path was pitch black. Inside the woods, it was so dark that not even starlight could pierce through. Up to this point, they hadn’t discovered any Magical Beasts. After all, Magical Beasts weren’t omnipotent; their eyes were mostly Ordinary eyes, so they would also be hindered by this completely dark environment.
Zhuang Ya led the way at the front. Suddenly, she raised her hand, and Zhao Chi’s entire army immediately halted.
"Sir, Gu Qing, I’ve spotted the enemy. They’re Goblins." Zhuang Ya narrowed her eyes, observing the situation outside the woods.
A group of Goblins squatted outside the forest. Without needing to count carefully, there were definitely 400 of them. Those Goblins wielded various Weapons, mainly Javelins. Half of the Goblins wore Leather Armor, while the other half wore only loincloths. All the Goblins huddled together, forming several crooked circular formations with their Javelins pointing outward, which provided a certain level of protection.
They were an Intelligent Race, after all. Although they were vastly inferior to Humans, they were still quite clever and understood Simple formations and tactics. It was just that the surroundings were incredibly dark right now, so they could only shrink together, huddling for warmth. Goblins were inherently cowardly, and now they were cowering even more, trembling non-stop.
Gu Qing and the Others also saw the situation ahead. Fighting Goblins in the dark of night like this would be an absolute breeze.
Zhao Chi gave his order: "Everyone, pay attention. Take out your ropes and capture the Goblins alive."
"Understood!"
The Female Soldiers untied the hemp ropes from their waists and put away their Weapons and Shields. They Truly didn’t need Weapons to fight Goblins. After all, they all possessed 6 points of Power and wore iron Hand Armor. A single punch would be enough to knock a Goblin down.
Zhuang Ya specifically reminded them, "Those of you assigned new High Heels today, be careful not to kick too hard, or you’ll kick them to death in one strike." She still remembered how they had sent the rat-men flying with their kicks that morning.
Gu Qing condensed a stream of water and quickly drank it all, letting the water swiftly digest into urine to produce more Yellow Silk.
The battle began!
Five minutes later.
The battle ended!
In truth, there wasn’t much of a battle at all; it was entirely a one-sided beatdown of the Goblins by the Female Soldiers.
"Don’t struggle, or I’ll give you another punch!"
"What are you screaming for? You’re so noisy! It’s just a broken leg. Keep screaming and I’ll snap your arm too!"
"Stop clutching your crotch! I haven’t even kicked hard yet, otherwise I would’ve kicked you to death. Hold out your hands; I need to tie you up!"
"You dare hit me? Have a slap in the mouth!"
These Female Soldiers were usually Truly gentle, but right now, their strikes were decisive and incredibly fierce. They descended like banshees. The Goblins had absolutely no power to resist. The surroundings were filled with the THUD THUD sounds of them getting beaten up, along with their agonizing wails and a chorus of begging pleas.
Some Goblins ran around wildly in the dark, but the Female Soldiers easily caught up, stepped on them to pin them down, and tied them up. The battle was over before the water in Gu Qing’s stomach could even digest.
Not a single one of the 400 Goblins was missing; they were all taken captive. They all trembled with fear, completely unaware of who their opponents were. They only knew that their attackers had pleasant female voices but struck with brutal ruthlessness. It wasn’t until they were escorted back to Qingzhu Town that they finally saw those beautiful, delicate faces.
