Chapter 439 - 31: Super Gravity Slime, Upgraded Again

Chapter 439: Chapter 31: Super Gravity Slime, Upgraded Again

A total of seven territories were occupied by the enraged Slimes. Of those, five were in poor locations, so Lin Yu chose to destroy them, obtaining five Free Territory Hearts.

He chose to occupy two of the territories. This was because they were not far from the territories Lin Yu already held, and the lands in between were also teeming with Slime activity.

The lords of these territories weren’t strong. They hadn’t managed to drive out all the Slimes, only reduce their numbers. As a result, the territories could be considered connected.

As for the lords of the occupied territories, two escaped, two were captured, and three were killed on the spot—all of which contributed to Lin Yu’s lord experience points.

Finally, more than ten territories had successfully driven all the Slimes out of their lands.

However, Lin Yu also learned that the retreating Slimes had done so mainly because they discovered that some of the dead Slimes had undergone a mutation. They brought these mutated Slimes back with them.

Lin Yu looked curiously at these Slime Balls, which had turned into spheres and lost all ability to move.

[Skills]: Fusion, Assimilation, Repulsion, Gravitation, Super Gravity Ball, Gravity Field, Supergravity Field

[Talents]: Potent Absorption, Hive Mind, Advanced Gravity Control

[Fusion]: The Super Gravity Slime can fuse with other types of Slimes, making them one with itself.

The fused Slimes will provide a certain amount of experience to the Super Gravity Slime, allowing it to raise its level.

[Assimilation]: The Super Gravity Slime can assimilate objects it is in long-term contact with, turning them into items that generate abnormal gravity.

[Repulsion]: The Super Gravity Slime can emit a repulsive force from its body, pushing objects away.

[Gravitation]: The Super Gravity Slime can emit a gravitational force from its body, pulling objects closer.

[Super Gravity Ball]: Fires a Super Gravity Ball. The ball generates a Gravity Field far stronger than its surroundings, pulling everything nearby toward it.

[Gravity Field]: The Super Gravity Slime can emit a Gravity Field from its body. The gravity within the field can be freely controlled by the Super Gravity Slime.

Repulsion Synergy: A repulsive force can be generated within the Gravity Field, pushing all objects within the field away from the Slime.

Gravitation Synergy: A gravitational force can be generated within the Gravity Field, pulling all objects within the field toward the Slime.

[Supergravity Field]: The Slime can emit a Supergravity Field from its body. The gravity within this field will be several times that of normal gravity and can be freely controlled by the Slime.

Repulsion Synergy: ...

The Slimes that had turned into balls had indeed mutated, changing from the original Bee Swarm Gluttonous Slimes into Super Gravity Slimes.

Their grade changed from Epic to Legendary, and their skills and talents underwent significant changes.

First were their stats. Judging by their attributes, the Super Gravity Slimes could be called the most extreme members of the territory.

They had no speed and no attack power, leaving them completely unable to move freely or perform physical attacks. Fortunately, their skills compensated for these weaknesses, giving them the ability to survive independently.

The `Corrupt and Purify` skill was gone, and `Fission-Fusion` had become just `Fusion`. They had lost the ability to split, leaving only the ability to fuse. This was a massive change, meaning the Super Gravity Slimes could no longer reproduce by splitting.

’Looks like they’ll need to ask the pixies how to reproduce,’ Lin Yu thought.

`Assimilation` was a production-type ability, allowing the Super Gravity Slimes to become something akin to a living ore vein.

With continuous assimilation, they could convert items into objects that produced super-gravity.

In addition, the `Telekinesis` ability was gone, replaced by several gravity-related skills.

As skills of a Legendary grade unit, these gravity skills were undoubtedly stronger than Telekinesis.

However, the sudden loss of the Telekinesis skill, combined with their Speed dropping to zero, meant the Super Gravity Slimes had lost their ability to move.

Fortunately, after their promotion to Legendary grade, the Super Gravity Slimes had grown eyes and mouths and were now able to speak. Things would have been quite troublesome otherwise.

`Corrupt and Purify` was replaced by `Potent Absorption`. Due to the changes in their body structure, the Super Gravity Slimes could no longer envelop food within their bodies to eat.

They could only attach food to their surface, use their immense gravity to crush it into powder, and then absorb its essence for sustenance and growth.

Thankfully, the `Hive Mind` talent had not disappeared; otherwise, the usefulness of the Super Gravity Slimes would have plummeted.

Then again, without this talent, the Super Gravity Slimes probably wouldn’t have reached the Legendary grade in the first place.

After some practical tests, it was found that the Super Gravity Slimes’ `Hive Mind` could connect not only with other Super Gravity Slimes but also with the Bee Swarm Gluttonous Slimes, allowing them to enjoy the same mental communication and amplification.

There was one change, however. When a Super Gravity Slime linked with a regular Bee Swarm Gluttonous Slime, their minds didn’t directly merge. Instead, it was like they were users on a network, able to converse and communicate with each other.

Only when linking with other Super Gravity Slimes would their minds truly merge.

Furthermore, the Super Gravity Slimes had lost their self-amplification ability. Since they could no longer split, an individual was just an individual, not part of a collective swarm in the same way.

`Advanced Gravity Control` was the Super Gravity Slime’s brand-new talent, enhancing their ability and proficiency in controlling gravity.

With this talent, coupled with the Super Gravity Slimes’ decent intelligence, Lin Yu decided to have the book managers within the Wisdom Library help find some skills and books related to gravity.

He wanted the Super Gravity Slimes to pursue further studies and master more gravity-related abilities.

All in all, this unexpected Slime variant, the Super Gravity Slime, had received a massive boost to its offensive and defensive capabilities.

Unfortunately, not all the Slime Balls created by the Supergravity Field successfully mutated into Super Gravity Slimes. Half of them had completely lost consciousness, leaving behind only hardened husks.

While Lin Yu was pondering how to deal with these hard balls, he made an unexpected discovery. When Super Gravity Slimes were placed against these "corpses," they would slowly absorb them through the surface of contact.

So, Lin Yu gave all the failed Slime Ball mutations to the Super Gravity Slimes as food.

As they slowly absorbed the Slime Balls, Lin Yu was pleasantly surprised to find that the Super Gravity Slimes’ level experience was slowly increasing.

After figuring out the Super Gravity Slimes’ abilities, Lin Yu had the Bee Swarm Gluttonous Slimes transport the captured lords, the Free Territory Hearts, and the Super Gravity Slimes to Als Territory.

He then instructed Al to interrogate the captured lords according to procedure and to send the Free Territory Hearts and Super Gravity Slimes back to the main territory. With that done, he withdrew his consciousness back to his main territory.

Next, he needed to consider his war strategy moving forward.

The faith of the Goddess had now begun to spread among the Civilian Lords of the Titan Race.

A large-scale war had also broken out between the Noble Lords and the Civilian Lords.

’Perhaps I can turn the Slimes into a type of wild monster? That would put some pressure on the territories developing in their rear.’

Finally, he had to consider who his target for "Enlightenment" would be once his lord level reached five.
