Chapter 1116 603: Rasama's Dragon Slayer "Obsession," the Dying Black Handsome Guy

Zong Shen rapidly retreated, swiftly moving tens of meters away.

He turned and gestured to Rasama, Kangnijiya, and Gujate to continue retreating.

Judging by the look of the Little Black Dragon, it had clearly utilized some powerful enhancement skill.

Even the Skeleton Cage could no longer contain it.

Even the 'Aging Curse' had been expelled.

After Zong Shen retreated, he narrowed his eyes slightly and checked its status through the Guide Module.

'Black Dragon Belair Tobias Croweidi LV39 (Orange)'

'Bloodline Ancestral State'

'Bloodline Resurgence (10%)'

(Activated Ancestral Bloodline at 10%, all attributes increased by 50 points, expelling all negative states not above Tier Six)

The Bloodline Ancestral State can last for a maximum of ten minutes, after which the Little Black Dragon will enter a 72-hour period of weakness. During the weakness, all attributes are reduced by 30%, symptoms like severe drowsiness and cessation of self-healing will occur.)

The current attribute panel of the Little Black Dragon appeared before his eyes.

It prominently displayed the words 'Bloodline Ancestral State.'

Ancestral Giant Dragon refers to the first Giant Dragon among the dragon species on the continent.

For example, Ancestor Black Dragon, Ancestor Red Dragon, Ancestor Green Dragon...

Each Ancestral Giant Dragon is unique, possessing unparalleled power that subsequent generations cannot compare to.

Bloodline Ancestral State involves activating the bloodline belonging to the Ancestral Giant Dragon from the essence of life.

Allowing power to sharply increase.

However, such enhancement forcibly exploits potential and cannot be sustained, leading to weakness once the Bloodline Ancestral State ends.

Zong Shen quickly organized the current situation in his mind.

Simply put, the Little Black Dragon had activated a buff.

This enhancement ability is similar to various status effects Zong Shen possesses.

It can enhance power in a short time, yet its Bloodline Ancestral State has notable side effects.

As long as it has some rationality, it would absolutely avoid staying here after breaking free from the Skeleton Cage!

Not far ahead, the Black Dragon twisted its body, pulling out most of the Skeleton Cage.

The bones buried deep underground were shaken and drawn out.

The Little Black Dragon thus gained enough space to escape the cage.

Once it broke free, standing on all fours, its long neck raised high, it fiercely looked at Zong Shen, but did not utter any threat, just suddenly spread its enormous Black Wings. After few flaps, its massive body left the ground, preparing to fly away without hesitation.

However, the root of one of its wings was previously struck by a Dragon-Slaying Sword.

Now during the flapping, it's clearly not as nimble.

The takeoff speed was considerably slower than at its peak.

"It wants to escape!"

Zong Shen secretly exclaimed, indeed.

His body leaped again, charging towards the Little Black Dragon.

"Clatter clatter clatter—"

At that moment, the crisp sound of horse hooves was heard from behind.

When the warhorse of the Charging Knight was intimidated by Dragon Force, Favide decisively mounted the Lion Skeleton Knight's Bone Horse, finally reaching the frontline.

As he advanced, he had already begun chanting.

When the Bone Horse reached within a hundred meters of the Black Dragon, the spell casting and chanting were completed.

'Tier Four Fire Magic, Flame Shackles!'

Suddenly, beneath the Black Dragon that had just lifted off, eight shackles made of flames rose.

These eight shackles respectively entangled the Black Dragon's limbs, neck, tail, and wings.

The shackles' confinement caused the Black Dragon's airborne form to abruptly halt.

This is a new skill Favide comprehended after advancing to a Tier Four Intermediate Fire Mage.

Yet in a split second, two of the eight shackles directly shattered.

Simply relying on Tier Four Fire Magic to bind the Bloodline Ancestral State of the Little Black Dragon is somewhat unrealistic!

But these flame shackles could at least slow its escape speed, buying time for Zong Shen.

Given the current state of the Black Handsome Guy, 'Strength Demon Possession' is somewhat unsuitable.

While able to significantly boost Zong Shen's Strength Attribute, it also reduces his Movement Speed.

These status transformation skills cannot be superimposed, but the effect could be voluntarily terminated.

Hence, Zong Shen, while running, decisively removed 'Strength Demon Possession.'

His mind stirred, immediately preparing to activate 'Heart of the Holy Spirit,' entering the 'Holy Spirit State.'

Aside from the 'Strength Demon Possession,' he had 'Holy Spirit State,' 'Demon State,' and 'Light and Dark State' among these transformation skills.

Out of them, the 'Holy Spirit State' is likely the least powerful of the three transformations.

The reason Zong Shen chose to activate the 'Holy Spirit State' was simple too.

Firstly, to test the effects of the 'Holy Spirit State.' Secondly, the transformation change after 'Demon State' was too sensitive, especially given the native forces generally have no goodwill towards demons. If any chatty Lord nearby witnessed this scene and leaked it to the native forces, it might lead to unnecessary trouble.

Although the likelihood is low, it's still worth being cautious.

As for the 'Light and Dark State,' it is the status skill with the greatest enhancement effect, akin to being his trump card.

When the Little Black Dragon was forced by him to enter Bloodline Ancestral State, the outcome was actually determined.

Just with 'Strength Demon Possession,' he could thoroughly crush it.

Thus activating the 'Holy Spirit State' against it would be more than sufficient!

As the 'Heart of the Holy Spirit' within was stirred, the power of Holy Light spread throughout Zong Shen's body.

Two dazzling beams of golden light shot from his eyes.

His entire self was shrouded in white Holy Light, radiating an aura of divinity and invincibility.
