Chapter 189 Spatial Wormholes, Traces of Law, Purple Spatial Expansion Components (Please Subscribe)_3
In the main control room of the Cangqiong, Song Chi was somewhat surprised.
What surprised him was not the appearance of the Half-Step Fourth Rank humanoid alien, but the manner of its emergence.
In his estimation, it would have been more likely for these humanoid aliens to enter the spatial wormhole ahead; he had not expected the other party to emerge from the wreckage of this ancient warship that spanned tens of thousands of meters.
“Have you already completely explored the wreckage of this warship…”
Muttering to himself, the Half-Step Fourth Rank humanoid alien that had just appeared also spoke up in a cold voice.
“Cher, it seems that all the commotion outside was your doing, interesting indeed!”
As it spoke, energy surged around its body, and the formidable pressure of a Half-Step Fourth Rank being suddenly enveloped the entire core space of the asteroid.
That was not the end of it. After releasing its full might, it seemed to have little interest in the reason behind Cher’s actions; its figure turned into a fleeting shadow, rushing towards him imposingly.
Their posture indicated an intent to resolve the uncertainty presented by Cher in the shortest time possible, to ensure the absolute safety of the asteroid’s core space.
“So eager to deal with Cher, it seems the gains from the wreckage of this ancient warship have been substantial for these Half-Step Fourth Rank humanoid aliens…”
As he thought this, Song Chi’s mind shifted, and soon after, a subtle fluctuation transmitted through the space not far from Cher.
Although the Half-Step Fourth Rank humanoid alien rushing towards them was formidable, it was, after all, situated within an asteroid belt and did not have the enhancement of the Floating Land Origin’s Laws; thus, it failed to perceive the subtle spatial fluctuation.
“I want to see where this spatial wormhole leads to after all…”
Inside the Cangqiong, Song Chi’s eyes narrowed.
Simultaneously, before the tens of kilometers diameter spatial wormhole, five Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines quietly appeared.
It was only at this point that the Half-Step Fourth Rank humanoid alien behind them realized what was happening, too late; it abandoned its attack on Cher, and pursued the now-visible Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines instead.
Song Chi, however, paid no mind to these developments, directly controlling the Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines with a brainwave beacon to rush into the spatial wormhole.
As he charged into the wormhole, the first thing Song Chi perceived through his brainwaves was a spiral void channel piercing through the dark side of the Starry Sea.
But before he could observe any more, one of the Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines leading the way was suddenly and silently obliterated by an unknown force.
This discovery shocked Song Chi to the core; although the destroyed figurine could be summoned again, the mysterious method of its demise was truly unsettling.

“It’s neither a rift in the void nor the Void Gangwind, what could it be?”
The anomalous event that had just occurred was too rapid to capture any details.
He didn’t have time to think any further; the Half-Step Fourth Rank humanoid alien was already catching up from behind.
He had to continue to let the remaining three Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines scout ahead.
Yet, in less than ten seconds, another of the cautiously advancing Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines was silently obliterated in the same manner.
This time, with his consciousness divided into three to monitor each of the Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines, Song Chi finally caught a glimpse of the fleeting anomaly and his pupils contracted sharply.
“Traces of Law…”
“The passage of this wormhole is actually filled with Traces of Law hidden within the void!”
Traces of Law was a topic never mentioned in textbooks; Song Chi only came to roughly understand this secretive knowledge after returning to the Song family.
As the name implies, Traces of Law are remnants deliberately left within the void through special means, often containing the Power of Laws. They operate indiscriminately, erupting instantly upon contact to obliterate any nearby matter, presenting a terrifying danger.
What’s more crucial, these Traces of Law can autonomously draw energy from the Starry Sea Void to sustain themselves over long epochs; the longer they persist, the more formidable the remnant Might of Laws within them.
As for the origins of these Traces of Law, they could be the unintentional remnants left behind by powerful beings of the Starry Sea exerting the Power of Laws during a confrontation or they could be intentionally laid out by certain entities.
What could be certain was that the Traces of Law lingering in this spatial wormhole beneath his feet were likely intentionally placed by the ancient warship that had fallen in the asteroid belt, probably as a way to hinder pursuers.
But for some unknown reason, it ultimately sank.
With this revelation, Song Chi finally understood why the Half-Step Fourth Rank humanoid aliens had been capturing creatures in the asteroid belt over the past two hundred years.
Clearly, they were using the asteroid belt creatures to scout a path, continuously carving out a safe route through the wormhole channel to avoid the hidden Traces of Law, thereby pushing towards the unknown Star Domain from whence the ancient warship came.
Having made this clear, the Cangqiong thousands of meters away finally took action. Under Song Chi’s control, it suddenly burst from behind the kilometer-sized asteroid and in the blink of an eye, crossed a distance of a hundred thousand meters to reach the battleground of the ten Third Rank creatures.
Ssshh—
As the hatch opened, the remaining 25 Void Assassin Clan Soldier Figurines swept out into the void, rushing towards the eight Third Rank humanoid aliens engaged in battle with the Thorned Flying Dragon and Tuogu Hong.
At the same time, the primary and secondary cannons of the Cangqiong fired without any mercy at full force.
With the active involvement of the Cangqiong, these Third Rank humanoid aliens without the enhancement of the Floating Land Origin’s Laws had virtually no capacity to resist and were swiftly dealt with one by one.
