Global Dungeon: I Can See the Status Bar
Chapter 734 - 337: That Was Quite a Show—The Dragon Who Controls Celestial Thunder
"Grandpa Schneider, I’m going out to take a look."
After leaving these words behind, Lu Wenwu dashed out of the hatching ground, racing upwards.
Just moments ago, he suddenly felt that the Blood Demon Radar crafted by Wood had started to react, spinning incessantly before finally fixing on the golden fissure.
The crimson pointer trembled continuously, indicating the location of the person the master was seeking.
Blood Demon Bra...
It seems we are truly fated to meet...
Lu Wenwu couldn’t help but have this thought flash in his mind.
It’s just like a regularly refreshing daily quest!
"Be careful! Dragon Island might be under invasion!"
Schneider only managed to shout this sentence before Lu Wenwu vanished without a trace.
Afterwards, he pondered for a moment, deciding not to take any hasty action, but instead called upon all the guards—including Marcus, who had just laid down and was still drowsy.
Giant dragons don’t possess Divine Sense and have not developed any methods of using Spiritual Detection or Soul Detection through Spiritual Power.
Or rather... they normally don’t really need it.
Their innate powerful Perception is enough to sense the presence of other creatures from a great distance.
Thus, even though Schneider did not witness what happened outside like Lu Wenwu did, his strong Perception made him subconsciously aware that something was amiss.
The hidden Space where Dragon Island lay was forcibly torn open, with a surge of ill-intended auras rising in the far distance.
A hundred giant dragons tasked with guarding the hatching ground awakened swiftly under Schneider’s command, and adeptly moved to the area outside the hatching ground that was undefended, jointly casting a powerful Dragon Language Magic to completely seal it off.
Subsequently, the dragons took their stands in places they had practiced countless times, their bodies constantly amassing Magic Power that evoked a sense of deep dread.
The hatching ground guards had no intention of supporting those on the ground; six Ancient Dragons from different races occupied various spots, forming a grand and majestic Hexagram Magic Array.
They were the last line of defense for the entire Dragon Race.
If there was truly a massive invasion by enemies, having these guards wouldn’t significantly alter the course of the battle.
If victory was attainable, it wouldn’t rely on them.
If not, they were the hope for the Dragon Race’s continued Inheritance in this World.
The hatching ground behind them would be sealed with their corpses, until newly hatched dragons activated the internal Space Array, transporting them to a "Safe House" the Dragon Race had established long ago.
If enemies intended to seize the Dragon Eggs amidst the chaos, the guards would teach those audacious thieves the terror that is the Giant Dragon!
...
Blood Demon Bra often regretted his choice of hosts.
Since encountering that Violent Dragon, nothing seemed to go smoothly anymore.
First, he picked someone who turned into a useless rage-fueled fool after going dark.
Then, he selected an arrogant narcissist without much ability, always blaming others.
Finally resurrected, and thinking he’d hit the jackpot at the start, he found this one was a true heavyweight!
In just half a year, his disposition and Talent underwent drastic changes, suddenly becoming a Near-God Powerhouse and assuming the role of Judgment Bishop in the Church of Light,
which left Blood Demon Bra himself perplexed, unsure of what to guide the host to do next.
Should he have the host help him fully resurrect?
Or flaunt his Power at Magick Magic Academy, showing off to the juniors?
Or simply possess the host outright, seizing everything from him?
From a cost-effective standpoint, the last option is absolutely Invincible.
Completing it would not only return Blood Demon Bra to the Magic God Realm, but also award him the status of Judgment Elder in the Church of Light, along with Cardinal Level Divine Skill Cultivation.
But he dared not.
The opponent was a Divine Attendant, capable of entering the Holy Land at any time to listen to the teachings of the Gods of Light.
Blood Demon Bra wasn’t sure whether his undead trait could continue working against the Gods of Light.
After all...
Whether from historical Legend or Attribute restraint, the Power of the God of Blood and Night is thoroughly countered by the Power of Holy Light from the Gods of Light.
However, what Blood Demon Bra did not expect was.
The first target for the so-called crusade against Heretics, mentioned by the former Ascetic host, turned out to be the Dragon Race!
The Dragon Race, no less!
How could the Church of Light dare?
Blood Demon Bra couldn’t comprehend, but was greatly shocked.
Especially seeing a Saint perform a Divine Descent, forcibly bearing the Power of the Gods of Light with a mortal body, heroically breaking through the Space where Dragon Island stood at the cost of Life.
The Blood Demon was utterly bewildered.
"Are you ready, Lord Blood Demon?" the Judgment Bishop inquired in his heart.
His inner voice remained as fervent and Devoted as it was outwardly expressed.
But unlike the glaring Holy Light on the surface, within him, the forces of Blood and Night flowed incessantly.
The dark, red-black Power lurked beneath the Light like a snake in the shadows, ready to reveal its terrifying fangs at any moment.
Blood Demon Bra was taken aback by the question: "Ready for what, Anderson?"
"Of course... to completely annihilate the Dragon Race from this World! This World doesn’t need the existence of Heretics!"
The projection of the Archbishop named Anderson, reflected within the sea of spirit, wore an expression both fanatic and malevolent.
