Global Dungeon: I Can See the Status Bar
Chapter 709 - 325: Divine Country Gate—The Heavenly Son Is Actually Myself
Head to the ancestral land of the Giant Dragon Race, Dragon Island...
Sometimes, having the right identity makes things much easier.
If I didn’t have the relationship with the Dragon Race, collecting secrets about the Divine Spirit and ancient magic would certainly be incredibly difficult.
Perhaps I’d have to start with the scattered races across the continent, gradually gather information, and piece together the final facts.
I hope the Dragon Race has the habit of keeping books or saving Memory Crystals.
If using language as a means of transmission, this sort of inheritance not only tends to have omissions, but absorption speed would be too slow, and it might mix in some self-interpretations from the narrators.
In plain language: storytelling is inefficient and tends to bring along a bunch of private goods cjb.
"I see, maybe I need to ask for some leave from you in advance, perhaps even arrange a temporary withdrawal." Lu Wenwu smiled somewhat sheepishly, "I still miss the books in our school library!"
"Ha! The academy always welcomes the return of every student." Douglas also laughed, winking, "Besides, you haven’t completed the final graduation exam, have you? We could calculate your school year countdown using the lifespan of the Dragon Race."
"Well, that sounds great, I love it here so much." Lu Wenwu followed up with excitement, "By the way, I wonder if you, Principal, could demonstrate your famed technique and give this junior some insight? I’m really too curious about ancient magic!"
Douglas pondered for a moment, then waved his hand: "Alright, considering you’ve eliminated this generation’s Blood Demon and its host, I’ll fulfill your wish today, follow me."
As he spoke, he got up from the wide sofa, pulled out his Magic Staff and tapped in the air three times, two long and one short.
Like rippling water, silvery light waves spread as a door entirely composed of Spatial Elements opened slowly in front of the two, appearing solid.
Looking through the door, the other side was an enclosed space shining with lots of Magic Array brilliance, filled with several Black Scale Heavy Stones often used in magical tests.
This type of stone boasts high Magic Resistance, while being extremely resilient and hard to damage, lacking any random attributes, making it the best target for testing magical power.
"This is a very useful magic for travel—Space Gate. You can condense a Spatial Seal at a location you’ve visited to use as an anchor, and no matter the distance, you can easily open the gate later. Of course, the prerequisite is having enough Magic Power." Douglas said as he stepped forward and walked to the other side.
Following the old principal through the Space Gate, Lu Wenwu keenly felt an extremely overwhelming force suppressing everything here.
Douglas pointed at the giant cube Black Scale Heavy Stone monument in the center:
"This is said to be the experimental magic arena personally established by the God of Magic. That monument is the original magical test target, capable of autonomously absorbing free Elements and Magic Power from the world, internally maintaining the ’Eternal and Undying’ state that modern magic can’t replicate."
"According to the books, it’s an extremely profound Time Magic, and supposedly today’s Repair Spell was simplified from it. Any powerful attack launched at it can be repaired within a minute."
"Amazing!"
Lu Wenwu praised it verbally, instinctively opening the Eye of True Sight to scan it once.
[Sealing Divine Stone]: 892 3441 /108 0000 0000
[Cultivation]: Divine Artifact
[Current Status]: Self-repairing, Stabilized Magic, Elemental Enrichment, Suppressing Power, Magic Seal, Power Damage, Pure Faith
[Analysis]: The Sealing Divine Stone forged personally by the God of Magic, used to seal and suppress his own Divine Country, isolating all Power of Faith, capable of absorbing any magical attack to repair itself, currently due to severe Divine Power loss leading the seal to constantly collapse.
WTF!
Is this thing a seal?
Lu Wenwu was dumbfounded right on the spot.
Sure enough, Gods do indeed exist on the Gods Continent.
But why would the God of Magic want to forge a stone resembling self-cameo material to seal himself within the Divine Country?
Additionally, why actively isolate the Power of Faith?
Lu Wenwu reflected on what he had seen and heard these past few days, seemingly on Sundays, almost every student had their own faith God.
They would place their faithful God’s figures... Divine Statue on a mini altar for worship and offering.
But none worshiped the Divine Statue of the God of Magic, nor did anyone have faith in him.
Anywhere else, this might be reasonable.
But placed in Magic, a school personally established by the God of Magic, and students who are mages don’t have faith in the founding principal?
This is indeed rather baffling.
It is said the image is:
Fair skin, beautiful appearance, long legs, full bust, firm backside, slender waist.
Alluring like a peach in early spring, pure like chrysanthemum in late autumn.
Holy Spirit short skirt surrounded by elements, Star Staff with brilliant colors reaching thousands.
Her main image is one blending both the seductive allure and pure innocence, a blend of desire and cold aloofness.
Moreover, certain schools firmly believe the God of Magic must be wearing large round-rimmed glasses!
Who knows why a Divine Spirit needs glasses!
Some are so vulgar in thought and depraved in behavior among mages that they even line up for heated debates over whether the God of Magic wears black stockings or white stockings, low-cut or backless attire, whether clad in underwear or going bare-chested, et cetera.
Or perhaps... a battle of tastes?
In any case, such a God of Magic who could definitely be adored by lustful folks all over the world, actually has no followers? No Divine Hall?
